Would you say that the Samsung C9 Pro is "fast" in day-to-day use? A higher rating indicates that you think the Samsung C9 Pro exhibits fantastic performance. Like, is it as fast as your tears when you watch The Titanic?
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
+6Gigs of ram
+6 inch screen
+4000mAh battery
+18w fast charging
+Hi-fi
+Samsung pay
+Dual speakers
-snap dragon 653
-crap camera (although it has 2.1 mega pixel camera)
-no Android 7.0 now
-fast charging will enable when the screen are dimming
-not so much third-party rom support(but lineage OS)
-low cost performance
-Crap finger print sensor
The daily use performance are pretty GREAT, the 6gigs of RAM Will let you forgot to clean your recent tasks. The screen is fancy and big enough to enjoy YouTube time and the dual speakers feels great when you're using it, you can't back to only one speaker times. The earphones sound quality are great and I can't go out without my earphones.
But when I want to unlock my C9 pro, it is pretty terrible. It will take several times to unlock the phone and the recognize speed is so SLOW, maybe takes 1s, which is terrible.
(The most important thing is I don't like to play games on my phone,so I don't care about the performance of CPU)
hpe to improve camera quality

-The Hi-Fi feel nothing if I use some hi-fi headphone
-I think the fingerprint sensor is pretty good ,t can read fingerprint without turn on your screen, unlike the iPhones
-The camera in day time is pretty good but at night...Ummm... It's bad
-Let me talk about the CPU performance,I always play games, the CPU performance if u play some heavy games ilke what I did (e.g. PUBG mobile, Arena of Valor) the CPU performance just like crap ,it can handle it but low FPS and lag something. But still, the CPU performs a top middle range phone performance.
Also the battery life is pretty bad while playing heavy game
Any wrong ,I'm glad to correct information
How many of you are using the ambient display and how much battery does it drain in average?
I had it turned on from day one, but want to use it for the cool now listening songs feature while screen is off

I can't tell you how much exactly but it is a noticeable amount.

I Use ambient display, but don't really notice my battery taking a hit...
If you keep it in you pocket or face down (proximity sensor turns off the display on said conditions) when you're not using your phone the battery drain isn't noticeable

why not just try it and see how much it affects you?
I notice no drain from it at all, doesnt mean you will or wont however.
Been using it since day one and I'm fine with whatever minimal drain it does.

It would have to use some amount not matter what. People that state they don't notice a difference etc is not possible. So there is no doubt about it. It will definitely get a hit. I suggest you try it for a day or two and see how you go
It is both.
In few cases it affect battery life.
In few cases it saves battery life.
My usage of phone ambience more than 90% of time is same so I manually set brightness. Enabling adaptiveness affected battery life.
However for others whose ambience changes from low brightness to high brightness, enabling it may save battery. Auto setting feature of phone do consume battery but battery saving provided by auto setting can be less or more depending on usage.

Hi
It all depends on your usage. If you regularly use your phone during the day, so need to charge your phone every day, than the percentage of power used by Ambient display is low compared to the phone usage, so it wouldn't seem to impact much on the battery. If however you are a light user of the phone (for example I can go 3 to 5 days sometimes without needing to charge my XL), then having Ambient display turned on would probably half or more your standby time.
This is why some people will see extra power drain, others it goes un-noticed.
Regards
Phil

actually I had measure battery drain between ambient display ON or OFF (I let double tap and life to check phone ON).
based on my actual results, ambient ON takes 47 mAh and ambient OFF takes 9.1 mAh. To put simply, ambient ON drain 1.5%/hour while ambient OFF drain 0.3%/hour. In summary, putting ON ambient display will takes 1.2%/hour.
*sorry for my bad english

When ambient is ON I measure for 6 hours, and while OFF only about 2 hours.
I'm using AccuBattery to get the numbers

Very useful information, bro, thank you so much for doing the test I was planning to do XD

Hello,
I upgraded to the new S20 since tuesday but it seems my S10 at same screen definition FHD+ and 60Hz refresh rate was lasting more in real daily life use, phone, chat, surf on wifi or 4G.
I wonder if the battery will improve within the next days or if I should keep my S10 to get a better battery life.
I just don't want to buy a new phone with less battery life .
Kind regards.
the 120hz refresh rate screen is affecting the battery performance pretty drastically. I read that you get 30% more screen-on time on the S20 when it's configured to 60hz.
I believe that you should compare between the S10 and the S20 while both on 60hz and decide according to that.
on daily basis you can use 120hz and on days that you need more battery usage - move to 60hz.
Already did, thx

Surprised to see there still isn't a sticky for rating this phone, so here goes.
The rating will be out of 10, with 10 being the best and 1 the worst.
Display - 9/10
Performance - 10/10
Camera - 6/10
Battery Life - 8/10
Idle Battery Drain - 5/10
Running Temperature - 9/10
Development Friendliness (Rooting/Modding) - 4/10
Running On - MIUI 12.5.5 Global
Starting with the display, it is very good but I noticed at certain angles there is a slight blue tint to the screen (only visible during low light conditions). And I have noticed quite a bit of black crush on this phone, but you get used to it.
Performance is really great. No complaints here. Be it casual browsing, youtube or heavy gaming, it has handled all of them very well.
Camera is average at best. The "painting" effect is evident especially when zooming in on faces. Not complaining though since this is really not a camera phone. It also helps that I rarely take photos.
Battery life during normal usage is good but not the best because of the limited battery size. I usually get a whole day of usage (no gaming) without a problem. Also note that I use my phone on the 120fps setting always.
Now I had to make a separate category for idle drain as I have heard many people complain of this, and have myself experienced this. Especially after the battery goes below 20% the idle drain is quite noticeable. Still I wouldn't quite call it a deal-breaker but it is a bit annoying.
On the temperature front, I have yet to have this phone get uncomfortably hot even during gaming. Mind you, it does get warm during intense gaming but never HOT. And obviously during everyday browsing/youtube it stays cool.
Development friendliness is what has really disappointed me. The rooting process alone is quite a bit more tricky thanks to newer android versions being less modification friendly. After reading post after post of people bricking their phones because of some obscure rule/requirement (either by Xiaomi or Google itself) and after my own experience of trying to root this phone, I must say this phone is one of the least dev friendly phones I have seen.
Well then, let's hear your ratings!
my phone well it's something special
for the price, everything is 10/10

Except camera, for the price I would give 8/10
0/10 all
Overall, I would rate my phone Mi 11X a solid 8. Except for the camera, and fingerprint sensor(not a big fan of power button+finger print sensor) everything is good with the phone. Oh yeah that weird proximity sensor bug too.
{Mod edit: Quoted post has been deleted}
Thanks for sharing, this thread is for the Poco F3 though.
Display - 9/10
Performance - 10/10
Camera - 8/10 (GCam)
Battery Life - 7/10 (underclocked CPU, undervolted GPU)
Idle Battery Drain - 8/10 (SuperFreezZ + Battery Saver)
Running Temperature - 9/10
Development Friendliness (Rooting/Modding) - 7/10
Running On - HavocOS 4.13
Worst bugs: proximity sensor, power consumption with AOD.
With some tweaks the F3 is a useful, powerful and enduring phone with some restrictions. Without the tweaks it's not worth the money (imho). There was not just one moment when I regretted switching from F1.
Hello, i get my Red Magic 8Pro today and at first, i had started the Wildlife extreme stress Test. I was confused beceause i get a stability of 77%. In the you Tube Videos that i saw, the stability was at 99%. Before the test I had activated the gaming mode and set the performance to max.
The highest loop was 3729 and the lowest 2919 points
Also the max brightness gets down to the half during the stresstest
Is this the same at your phones?
I am also interested in this. The main reason why I would want to buy this phone is because tests show 99% stability in Wildlife, 77% would be unaccaptable. Is this truly the case with all phones or just an isolated issue?
Update:——————————————-> 08.02.23
Yesterday I had a gaming sassion about 45 Minutes in PUBG Mobile. Performance from the phone was set to max again und in pubg I used the lowest graphic settings and 60 fps (more is currently not available).
The phone temperature arrived 36 degrees and the CPU 60 . The Brightness from the screen gets also down in this situation.
Sorry Red Magic, but this is a gaming phone, this should not reduce the display brightness.
My old Red Magic 6R has no fan and gets temperatures over 50 degrees (phone temperature, CPU is higher), has in 3d Mark wildlife stresstest a stability of 97% and no screen dimming .
Is it possible that I’am the only one with this problem ? Or has the EU version other temperature limits ?
Wow, 77% stability instead or the 97% shown in reviews and even the display brightness is auto lowered to reduce heat? Wow, this sounds like a huge fail .from ZTE.... would be nice to hear from other users that is this common and the reviewers are lying to help ZTE sell a garbage phone OR you just have a faulty unit (faulty vapor chamber for example).
Hello im from Germany,
I received my redmagic 8 pro on tuesday this week.
I also started wild life extrem stress test and had no issues with my phone.
Stability was 98%
Highest loop 3715
Lowest loop 3639
My max brightness was stable at 100 % all the time.
Unfortunately i have problems with the under Display selfie cam.
In lowlight conditions i have visible spots with green tint at the Display.
Sorry for my bad English.
Greetings from Germany
WHat do you by low light? When you lower the britghtness or when you are in a dark room (no outside light source).
This under display camera is really starting to become a disappointment ...
When it starts to get darker inside the room or at evenings.
In sunlight or good light conditions the under Display cam is good and hard to see where the spot is.
The quality of this cam is not really good but i don't take selfies so this is ok for me.
That is really disappointing that the camera is physically visible unless you are outside in the sunlight ...

Seeing a lot of users experience this (including me), I think this is a software issue. I hope Nubia will release a fix for this one.

Thank you for your feedback. I have now requested a refund from support. I also have the issue with the selfie camera, but in this case it is very likely a software problem.
