Hi Everyone
I have a Z2 Plus 64GB India released model running Android 7.0 and March 2017 security patch. I have unlocked bootloader, installed twrp and also rooted using su zip file.
I have made the necessary tweaks that I wanted to do with the device and want 1) unroot (I know how to do it. Not an issue), 2) Replace twrp with stock recovery. But even after searching around in different forums, I am not able to find the stock recovery image anywhere. Can anyone help me with where to find the recovery file?
Also is it enough to only replace the stock recovery or boot image also requires any re-flashing? I am not sure about this.
Appreciate your help.
Recovery

I've extracted the recovery img and uploaded it to the drive drive.google. com/file/d/0ByBSgAwMMburNS12VEx5VVZ0b3c/view?usp=sharing

Hello guys how u doing...
My question is what is the difference between Fastboot And Recovery ROM in terms of what files they have.
I know Recovery ROM can be flashed by recovey and fastboot is used when phone's recovery in not accessible.
If i am on android 9 (MIUI 11.0.3.0) and i want to downgrade to oreo (9.5.19) can i flash this 9.5.19 recovery ROM directly via custom recovery or Use mi flash tool. Please tell me the reason why u choose either method

For upgrade/reflash/downgrade MIUI always use fastboot ROM and chose clean install. Custom recovery is better for rooted devices OTA MIUI update and for custom ROM's. And if you gonna play with ROM's be smart and unlock bootloader for easy fix if something goes wrong aka (un)bricking device.
Good luck

I'd be interested in this question too. Is there any difference in what those versions contain?
Fastboot ROMs are much bigger usually, like double the size. Is this only due to the recovery versions beeing compressed (better), or do the fastboot versions contain additional data?
Currently on CN MR2 version of JOYUI 12.5. Using the old TWRP for Android 10 only shows black screen when booting up via "fastboot boot twrp.img" then reboots normally to the system preventing me to pull the stock boot for MR2, make backups via TWRP to proceed with rooting the device. Any help would be appreciated.
Here's the recovery.img I've extracted from Payload.bin for the latest CN MR2 update. Hopefully someone can patch a TWRP img for this. And feel free to ask if you guys need more img files from the latest update.

Tried to flash over mr0 to update but bootloop
hi,
I wanted to patch the boot.img with magisk and downloaded the latest firmware from oneplus. Not reading carefully, the most recent update available for regular download was 11.0.0.2.HD65AA, the phone was on 11.0.3.1GM57BA already though. After flashing the wrong version of boot.img it does not boot well, WiFi doesn't work and boot is slow.
Does anybody have either the stock or a patched boot.img for 11.0.3.1GM57BA for me that I can flash?
best regards

*edit: I was able to download the latest OTA-Update via the app "Oxygen Updater".
Hello,
About a week ago I updated to MIUI 13 (13.0.2.0.SJEMIXM). My phone (Redmi Note 9T) was rooted and I had a custom recovery (Orange Fox) installed. I flashed the stock recovery and was then able to update. I left the stock recovery on the phone to make it easier to update down the line but did root my phone again.
This morning I was informed that there is a new update (13.0.3.0.SJEMIXM) so I download and installed it. All went well and the phone booted successfully.
I then wanted to have my phone rooted again (magisk) so I just took the boot.img from the previous version (13.0.2.0.SJEMIXM) to be patched since I did not have the factory Rom for the new version (13.0.3.0.SJEMIXM) to retrieve the boot.img file.
I then flashed the patched boot.img via fastboot (fastboot flash boot magisk_pached.img) and my phone started to bootloop.
I also tried flashing the unpatched boot.img but it is still the old one.
I don't know if I did something wrong or if it is just the old boot.img that I need to replace, pls help.
Ps: I have downloaded the OTA update (13.0.3.0.SJEMIXM) but it only contains a boot.img.p file.

Flash the (13.0.3.0.SJEMIXM)boot.img with O.F .
Use Magisk app for rooting the phone.
I fixed the problem.
All I had to do was find new the boot.img and flash it via fastboot.
I then patched the new boot.img file and then I flashed the patched.img via fastboot.
Thanks for your help
