[Q] Replace V10k-SEA-XX by European version

Hi All!
I just bought LG G3 32GB 3GB Ram unlocked (For European market)
Software version is: V10K-SEA-XX.
Do you confirm that's for South East of Asia?
I live in Europe (France).
I would like to set European or French version on phone.
Do you think that's possible?
I see there is D85510L_00.kdz...
Can I push this version on phone?
Can you help me to set my phone with european or french version? please

What variant you have? D855?
Those symbols after V10K are your operator (carrier) symbols. At least those are in my country so I believe they are everywhere like that.
If you have D855 you can flash that, V10N is the latest Kitkat or V20D is the latest Lollipop.

V10C in this guide
V20D here
To flash them you will use guide that I have linked under V10C.
I would suggest to go with Lollipop (20D).

weird version
Hello,
I have kind of same problem : living in france, i bought on the web on september of 2014 a G3, 32Go, kit kat.
The model number is D855
The software version is V10g-GLOBAL-SI
Since i got the phone , i never had OTA updates, i don't know why.
Do you think I can Flash to the european version, Lolli Lop 20E ?
In that case, after doing this, will the ota updates work ??

H815 North American Variant

I looked through the forums and am still confused on this version.
So only H815 Euro version can unlock the bootloader officially, while the H815 USA version can't.
But I've read some posts peopple flashing H815 USA version with custom roms?
How is that possible and I can't seem to use the right key words to find the relevant post.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx!

Sure you need to a custom DLL cooked

You probably don't need a custom DLL, so long as you have one which allows your phone to be seen by LG UP.
As the hardware seems to be the same on all variants of the G7, maybe with the exception of some CMDA specific variants (someone please correct me if I'm wrong here); the cross flashing should work perfectly.

if i'm not wrong actually to crossflash on LG V30 variants you need of patched LGUP and patched V30 DLL

I've cross-flashed my V30DS with various different firmwares (H930 / H930DS versions) without the patched LGUP or patched DLL.
I seem to remember the initial reason for the patched app & dll was to get round not having a "real" V30 DLL

so how do i cross flash i tried to flash a different kdz on my sprint thin q g7, i tried euro frimware but got stopped by lg up says invaild kdz for this model or something like that

Have the problem that the program terminates at 11 percent and the error 0x2000 comes. I have a European variant. I've just loaded the right firnware for mine. I do not know how to continue

So, can we flash a rom with dual sim support and use dual sim? The LG G7's sim tray is ready for dual sim.

Just flashed a G7 from AUS to SEA. Was successful, although as the available LM-G710 KDZs are for the 128GB variant (EAW) not the 64GB variant (EMW), it forced a data wipe.
Used the same LGUP Oreo DLL as V30.

Can the g710tm be crossed flashed to g710em to unlock the bootloader

Nope it would still have to be done through LG's website and it still detects its a G710TM at least that's what happened with the sprint version (people have managed to cross flash the sprint version if I'm not mistaken and this is what happened)

is it possible to install Europe/US stock firmware to LG G7 from Korea? I need to add Czech language. I tried to install stock Europe firmware via LGUP and it failed.

Hi, did you move forward with this? I have an EMW version of the G7 as I needed dual SIM, but I'm wondering if there are fundamental differences between the firmware because some of the camera shots I'm getting on this are really, really bad.

Have you noticed that the camera shots of faces using the main camera are really bad? They don't focus and they have an auto beauty mode on for some reason?
I'm using Korean variant

It would be. I have korean eaw without czech. I instal european fw 10p in LG UP with czech language and working great. More PM please
