Hi Guys
I noticed that our Phone (oneplus7t) dont really have much development and we dont have a twrp due to dynamic recovery partition
is anyone keen to take up to get LineageOS 17.1 working on our Phone ?
There's already TWRP for 7T/Pro

Kernel 4.14 is stable and the camera is better than on kernel 4.9
It needs more battery at the moment, but depends on the usecase

9.0 uses 4.9
10.0 uses 4.14
I requested a XDA thread but sadly the maintainer is a bit slow

Extract the payload file and flash it in fastboot
Then any further OTA will work with the delivered recovery

I recently got the OnePlus 9 pro. I also have a Galaxy S21 ultra. using seLinux permissive v2 and audio modification library modules, it was possible to install viper for Android on the S21 ultra. on this 9 Pro however, absolutely nothing is...

Dev has a build of TWRP running now, it's looking good, just undergoing testing. Watch for a new thread.

On stock? Nothing, partitions are read only.
Custom ROMs might work if they allow R/W

Read only as in because we don't have a proper TWRP? Or read only as in, yeah it'll boot, but can't write anything to storage after? I'm unclear there. I don't have a 9 Pro to test this myself, but I'm in this part of XDA because I'm heavily considering getting one lol

This has nothing to do with TWRP. This is how Google has decided phones launched with A10+ should be.

Wow that's crap! Makes me wonder if a new way to decrypt will pop up at some point. Just for my own knowledge, if I tried, does this phone just bootloop? Trying to grasp the real world scenario here.
I hope somebody will make a third-party ROM(RMX3366)
