Hi all.
Need to ask if:
1. Realme X2 supports USB-C to Ethernet? I enable support for OTG. But the phone do not show that ethernet is connected!
I purchase a UGREEN USB-C To Ethernet (SKU 50737) (https://www.ugreen.com/products/usb-c-to-gigabit-rj45-ethernet-adapter?_pos=1&_sid=c389c5db3&_ss=r). For the benefits of the members, the adapter works on iPad Pro 12.9 Gen 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Just disable wifi, plug and play. Simple.
2. If Realme X2 supports USB-C to Ethernet, pls advice what USB-C to ethernet adapter did you purchase, the SKU and where did you purchase it.
TQ

I want to connect the HTC One M9 to RJ45 ethernet, using some micro-usb to ethernet adapter via OTG. Android supports it starting from marshmallow, but no idea if the feature is present on the One M9, I think it depends on the kernel.
Anyone knows if it's possible or got it working?
Forget this phone, LG V20 and Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ support OTG USB to ethernet adapters. See more here:
[TIP] LG V20 H990ds supports OTG USB to Ethernet adapter
(OTG) List of USB to ethernet RJ45 adapters that work with Nexus devices
In case anyone was unaware....Came across a video on YouTube and found out that one of the adapters that came with the phone, USB-C to USB Female-which was part of the SmartSwitch, turn out that it is an OTG adapter.
You can use it to connect thumb drive, usb harddrive, usb hub, keyboard and mouse...It even lets you charge another device from your phone.
The microUSB adapter is just that an adapter not OTG ....I did find a 2 pack OTG adapter for USB-C to microUSB on amazon for $7 and have verified they work too. USB 3.1 Type-C to MicroUSB 2.0 Female OTG Adapter, Gray, pack of 2, for Google Pixel/Pixel XL, Nexus 5X/6P, LG G5, Moto Z, HTC m10 & others
I think this is detailed as an OTG adapter within the owners manual anyway
As my car only have a hdmi input. If i want to use Android auto, apart from miracast, I think mhl or type-c to hdmi is the best way.
But since my Nexux 6P it can't support mhl or hdmi either. It's so Headacheļ¼
And I ask google support. Thery say it won't support in pixel 2 too.
Can any one could try it in pixel or pixel 2 with a type-c to hdmi adapter?

Warer, I wish that could be possible with Pixel 2 USB 3.1 port.
Just received my Pixel 2 and was looking for info.
I tried a USB C to HDMI that works on my Razer blade but does nothing on Pixel (I still have menu to choose : power device, charge, pptp, midi but no video out)
The Pixels does not support any video output via the USB C port.
Does Redmi Note 5 support slimport?
I want to connect to a VGA monitor and i bougth a micro usb to Vga cable. It needs slimport compatibility and it did not work.
I wonder if is a cable problem or if note 5 do not support slimport?
Thanks!!

So if I bought a new monitor that supports usb type-c DP alt, will I be able to mirror my phone to the monitor using a type-c to type-c cable? Need some help here as I have only tried using type-c to hdmi connections omegle xender.
According to the specs of S22+ on official website: Wired: supports DisplayPort over USB Type-C. Supports video out when connecting via HDMI Adapter. (DisplayPort 4K UHD at 60 fps)
