S20U - Can't disable or remove eSIM - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

Hey there.
I have a problem with my eSIM. I can't disable or remove my eSIM. I always get the error "SIM card busy, try again later".
I now ordered a regular SIM card again, so now my eSIM profile is inactive/unusable. But it is still there and still can't be removed.
It's really annoying. Is there any solution for that? The only thing I'd know is a factory reset, but I don't really want to do that just because of this stupid eSIM.
So it would be very great if somehone has another idea.
Thanks,
Chris

Yesterday my HTC Excalibur stopped receiving calls, text messages and would not make calls.
I turned the phone off, took the battery and SIM Card out, put it in 5 minutes later hoping it would work again, it did not.
I did a reset of the phone (accessories, clear storage, 1234), that did not work.
This morning I tried swapping SIM cards with someone else (to see if was the service provider). Both SIM Cards worked in my friends Sony Ericsson but neither worked in my HTC Excalibur.
I have the 3V0 Windows Mobile 6.5 installed.
Is there a way I can fix this?

No, I don't know how.
The phone came with it installed. I bought it new, but the seller installed WM 6.5 before shipping, so it's more like open box.
How long does it take? Should I leave that as a last resort?
Is there anything I can tweak on my phone right now?

Where can I find the most up to date and fastest Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM?
EDIT: OP shared more info related via PM, thread re-open.
As I sent you via PM, hard reset or reflash your device. If that doesn't work get a new sim from your carrier since it can be network related.

reflashed to 6.1 but still no luck.
Again I tried another working sim from the same carrier, both sims work in my friends phone, but neither work on my s620.
I'v been in contact with jockyw2001 for his Excalibur Sim Unlock.
I just don't understand why I have to pay someone for this, I just bought the phone less than a month ago and it's been working perfectly.
How did this happen? How did my phone get locked?

Probably is your internal antenna (hardware). Have you made sure that phone radio is on?

Yes, the phone radio is on.
Now sometimes it says Rogers Wireless rather than searching.
But when I call someone, it does everything but complete the call. It just beeps twice and says 00:00.

Should I open the phone and pull the antennas closer together like I read in a thread on this forum?

That's the last resort my friend....when a doctor doesn't know what the patient has...he opens to see what's the problem .
This is something that you do it at your own risk, maybe you have some dirt inside that needs to be clean.
Good luck,
jockyw2001 says my IMEI is unlocked.
Hey guys,
I am now able to send texts. But I can't receive texts, make calls or receive calls.
any suggestions?
I filed a claim on eBay. That seems to be the best option.

[Q] Phone does not work in the UK

Hi All,
I have bought an unlocked HTC about 3 years ago, and basically, this works with any SIM. I have used it all over Europe, with no problems. However I am having trouble using it here in the UK.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
How about some more information, eg what sim, what troubles, etc.

The SIM is Vodafone, and I cannot connect to the network, ie no calls or sms. I tried the SIM in another phone and it works. So it is the HTC that is giving problems. And I am sure that the HTC is unlocked, since I have tried other SIM cards when in Europe and all of them worked.
I have another SIM from Vodafone from another country in Europe, and it does not work either inside the HTC.
Possible cure?
If you don't have a SIM PIN, try setting one. If you already have one, skip that step. Then, try changing your screen security, for example from Slider to a PIN and then back to Slider.
I put a known good SIM in my phone in the UK and had no wireless connectivity until I forced the phone to ask me for my SIM pin while it was running (i.e., not on boot - rebooting didn't help). For some reason, changing the screen security triggered a request to enter the SIM pin, and then suddenly wireless was back.
I can't repeat the cause of the lost connectivity, but I have repeated this cure on subesquent occasions when I've lost wireless.
Take your HTC to Vodafone. There might be some settings missing.

I tried doing what you said but it never asked me for a SIM PIN. I tried to change the SIM PIN but there is already one and I do not remember it

Hope you've got your PUK code handy. You're going to need it next time you have to turn your phone on!

Actually I did not need it!
And an update, I took the phone to the store and they fixed the problem. They guy at the counter entered something on the phone and it started working. Guess I had some missing setting.

Good news. But you're still gonna need that PUK code one day if there's a SIM pin and you don't know it!

No Sim Detected

Hey guys,
So I just got a used Note 2. When I picked it up, it was working fine. We then reset it and I tried my sim card and the no sim warning came up. Tried the sellers sim and same thing. I bought it anyway thinking that I could fiddle around with it. I've seen some other threads about this problem and most people suggest flashing a full Rom in ODIN, but there weren't ever any follow up posts to confirm if it worked.
I've tried flashing the emergency restore firmwares, but I still have this problem. I don't think the SIM contacts are damaged since I can see them and they look fine. Is there anything else you can suggest for me to do? Or am I stuck with a really small tablet that has no phone purposes?
It has not been blocked? Or maybe it's network locked?

You can try Azira27's patch, it helped me when I had a similar problem. For me it was saying "not registered on the network" when making a call.

I checked the IMEI, doesn't seem to be blocked or blacklisted. And if it were locked, it would ask me to input an unlock code, right?

I get that same error when I try to check mobile network settings. I'll definitely take a look at this, hopefully it helps! Thanks for that, I would never have found it.
I don't know much about how the EFS partition works, but it seems to play a role in the radio performance. Does anyone think my EFS partition is borked? I did try the full emergency firmware restore though...
Nope, the Azira patch doesn't do anything and neither my Rogers or my girlfriends sim card work. I'm starting to think the sim tray may be damaged, although the contacts are straight and present.
Try with a new sim card, your one is maybe too old.
Regards
Sorry guys, it is the sim tray. Two of the pins are slightly bent and broke off when I tried to fix them. Looks like I'm ordering a new sim tray since the seller is refusing to reply to my messages that he sold me a damaged phone. Oh well, it seems easy enough to replace.

Phone randomly stops detecting sim card?

Has anyone else encountered this? I have the UK version (it supports all att bands). It randomly stops detecting the sim card, and I have to eject it and reinsert it for it to detect it again.
sounds like an issue with the phone man... Mine has been flawless. if i were u i would return it... or at least try a new sim card.
I tried changing the APN settings to see if that makes a difference at all

I second this. Sometimes you just get a faulty device. Just exchange it for a new one.
have you checked the SIM card, make sure its clean? Seated correctly? You can clean the contacts carefully with alcohol wipes

Network Error issue, seeking help

Hello, I'm desperately seeking help to remedy this issue I'm having. I have unlocked Note 10+ on T-Mobile Network and ever since I got the device I been getting this "Network Error" pop up message dead on center of the screen.
It happens very randomly regardless of which app I'm using, on both wifi and mobile data. The error message pops up very briefly and disappears. Luckily it hasn't stopped me from doing daily tasks but it's extremely annoying.
These are things that I have already tried;
Factory reset, Network reset, brand new simcard, clear cache, returned the device for brand new replacement, uninstalled all 3rd party apps.
Nothing seems to help, I still get error message intermittently...
I'm out of ideas and clueless on how to go about it.
Anyone else on unlocked Note 10+ with T-Mobile experiencing same issue?
as you have tried everything else, maybe try with tm firmware or maybe contact tm tech support in case they can push some config settings

Thanks for your input. When I contacted tm, they told me since it's unlocked they can't do much about it....
If I flash to tm firmware would it cause an issue when I return the device to Samsung for Samsung upgrade?

That wasn't nice on part of tm, I also have U1 N10+ and I've never had problems switching sims for different networks. Have you tried using other provider's sim? Some tm secondary mvnos, I know to work well on my phone, will send you a free 1 month sim to try. I'm not going to spell its name(to avoid xda-free advertisement) but I'm very happy with its services(and super low prices)
What apps are you using? And have you disabled anything? You say you factory reset it, but did you start to install something again? And it happening with a 2nd device is odd
