Can anyone see attached picture and know why the auto correction box shows blank when I'm in Samsungs email on galaxy s20 ultra?

It's not blank, I can see the suggestions, it's white text on white background, something to do with the theme you are using maybe

As soon as I bought the device (Note 10+) I notice that the black theme is not completely black as in S10+ or S9+. Within applications it is normally completely black but throughout the system it is not completely black. Has anyone else had the same problem? Have they changed anything?
Thank you!

It was never completely black on S10.
It was pitch black on s9 and note 9, but they changed that to dark gray when S10 arrived.
Same on Note10 series now.

Are you talking about Night Mode, or did you apply a theme from the theme store?

Night mode.
I'm pretty sure it was completely black on S10+.

It may be the theme or a 3rd party launcher screwing it up. Hyperion is notorious for doing this on the homescreen (a slightly lighter band across the top).
Otherwise black should be black except 3rd party apps which may play with it. I run with night mode always on and some apps are a very dark grey; acceptable.
Of course some like the factory load of Gmail just stay bright white, wuvly. My wallpaper is flat black.
i have a U1 S9 and it doesnt have the option for the AOD to have pics from the gallery in it
I don't think your able to change the wallpaper on the always on display, it's probably designed to save energy. You just need to set your lock screen wallpaper and set the screen to turn off after 10 minutes.

Just open gallery and pick any photo, click on the 3 dots button on the top right and you'll find "Set as Always On Display image".

thank you. i hadnt been aware of that way to do it, but i was able to find how to set a custom picture as the AOD image, but it was just one pic i could select. I ended up making a gif of several pics of mine, and that works for the most part. Im open to ideas tho. What i was expecting is a tool that lets you select one or many pics that the AOD will show in different intervals and will offer different styles when going from image to image
Whenever I switch to selfie camera, I see light circle around the camera that shows up for 5 secs. Is it normal? I don't remember seeing this before ?
It's annoying .
I see a pretty cool effect when I switch to selfie mode... A quick ring of light for MAYBE one second it appears to spin around the camera clockwise once. Pretty neat! Thanks for making me notice that.
Yes its normal. It’s to remind you where the camera is. Cute effect...
It is not appearing on mine..
Would be pretty cool to use this as a notification for messages and what not

Woulda still been great if Samsung built this option into the software instead of having to get an app to do it.
Thanks though! I'll check em' out!
Samsung just updated the EdgeLighting+ to using the lighting circle around camera as notification alert.

Got the update Yday. Really nice, shame there is no way to keep it flashing when the screen goes off
(i know there are 3rd party apps, Just yet to find one that works perfectly with a black screen and JUST the circle around the camera)

Lemme get this straight...Samsung released an update that allows us to use the light ring around the camera as a notification signal BUT only while the screen is in use?

It works with the screen on or off if you set it to always. But the notification goes away in a few seconds.
That's why I like aodnotify. It works with screen on or off and I can set the light ring to stay in until I clear it.
On my Note 10+ I do not have - apparently- the possibility to select "black hole"...??? I only have basis effects? I come from a Samsung S8+ and before S8 and before S5 - and on every switch I have used Samsungs app for transferring data to new phone.
On my S8s I never managed to get the blue light "running" around the screen - even though I used the same settings as my wife's S8...???
I have only selected edge light for the SMS app (standard Samsung) and I do not use it that much but I think I recall that the edge light actually DID run around when I first got my Note 10+ but now it doesn't... (Bixby related???)
But anyway- no black hole option for me...?
I got the "black hole" type via nice lock, as good lock is not available in my country

It should be at the end of all effects.

You need to go to Galaxy Store, install Good Lock app , open Good Lock app, select "family" and then install EdgeLightning +. With the updated EdgeLightning +, you will find "black hole" effect.
Good lock SHOULD be a pre-installed app but Samsung in their wisdom put other bloatware on that is MUCH LESS useful and left this awesome app in the galaxy store...
Not even really featured well...
I have only used my Note 10+ with the standard apps regarding this issue... Thank you for the new app-tip! I will try it at once ??

Great... Apparently not available in my country (Denmark).... But does any of you recognize my previous description about edgelighting....???

I just installed Good Lock from Galaxy Store but in setting there does not seem to be any option for Family or Edge Lightening +
Would appreciate your help.

Hi everyone,
So I am trying to help my brother with an odd problem. Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 10, all updates done. My brother noticed that the phone battery is draining faster than usual, nothing particular with data usage. The particularity is that an orange dialog bubble has appeared on the lower left of the screen. It stays there, over any app. If I take a screenshot, the bubble doesn't appear on the screenshot. The bubble is a bit transparent. I havent been a member here for long enough to post the picture.
It is pale, but it stays there no matter what. My guess is that it's a screen burn, but the bad performance of the phone and the battery makes me think otherwise. My brother also doesn't think he ever saw this orange bubble in any app. What are your opinions?
Its hard without seeing a pic. try to upload the screenshot on imgur and posting here the link (use spaces between dots to avoid censor)

Ok so this really isn't the biggest thing or issue but I was curious if anyone else has this issue, Ok so with air view with the s pen you can hover over certain things and it will Pop up a little window with some text either explaining What it is or where it goes etc. but when I upgraded to one Ul 2.0 android 10 the text changed color from normal black to a very light cyan or light blue, so light I can't see the text at all anymore. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix for this, any help or input would be very much appreciated!
Here's a quick screenshot.
I have seen this sometimes when applying light color themes

Ah, Yup that's what it is thank You very much. That kind of sucks you can't change the color of the text itself tho but at least now I know what it is, thanks again!
