All Q roms have the bug, where the screen wont turn on back after being in pocket, despite disabling pocket mode or whatever else. No devs seem to acknowledge this, nor say whether there is a possible solution
I'm on willow, Havoc, currently. Last time it was okay was on PE February build.
me too
so, what did you do? back to stock? sold the phone?
i'm on ginkgo and tried PE+ and evolutionX (which said to have fixed that, but wasn't true)

No problems with Colt, CrDroid or Panandroid....
oh.. i thought all android 10 roms would have that problem.
are you really sure about that? which one would you suggest the most?
those are my recommended roms (i have ginkgo) : (stable good battery life and ram managment)
AospExtended/CesiumOS/AOSiP/CARBON/TitaniumOS/AncientOS
right now i'm on AEX and after freezing all the crap i don't need :

I've tested all 3 of the mentioned and have no problems with the pocket bug. The call log bug as mentioned above I have not experienced as I use Google dialer.
I use Colt and have no bugs at all. Perfect for me.

google dialer don't record calls ...
and the call log bug is present even with google dialer
try this :
empty the call log
call a number
see if it's present in recent calls without quiting the dialer

All my recent calls are logged without doing the above.
Checked out the AOSP dialer and the same thing.
Could it have something to do with the mobile provider?

Thaaaanks! I have been waiting for this since August
Hi I just installed this rom but had to uninstall it: The screen never goes off, after pressing the power button it goes off but a second after it shows a black screen with the time on it, it's not the lockscreen, the lockscreeen appears afterwards....
Another thing I noticed is the lack of "xiaomi options" like the ones in Havoc Os or Syberia OS. The system UI is not very smooth but the apps are really snappy. It's a shame because this rom had signature spoofing working and the others I mentioned have it but it doesn't work
Thanks, downloading now..
Clean flash advised or can I go straight from lineage 16?

Please don't be rude, in trying to find some information, i was polite.
Ambient display doesn't behave like that per se, ok? the screen staying on on this rom I think it's a bug and not only a matter of turning an option off, that's why I asked. do you understand it now? Ambient display doesn't leave your screen on ALL the time like it happens in this rom, do you understand it now?
Is it daily driver material? Battery backup and smoothness?

it's not clear whether the problem with the screen on
all the time is just a matter of turning ambient display off. I wouldn't install it until it's confirmed. There's a new build today, perhaps some bugs have been fixed. The system UI is not smooth. Sensors work out of the box and signature spoofing works. I didn't test anything else.
I'll disable ambient display default on next weekly !!
Hi there, I have been using this rom for a couple of days. I've noticed that some of the system settings don't stay after a reboot, you have to reapply them. At least it happens with the sim card settings, not sure about every single one of the others. Sound settings seem to stay as they were after a reboot.
I can't find an option to have the fingerprint sensor to wake up device like in other roms, perhaps this rom doesn't have this feature. Also I had to install a third party app to swap recents and back buttons. I couldn't find an option for this either.
The battery life seems good, similar or perhaps better than lineage 14.1.
Signature Spoofing works and the sensors work out of the box.
I can say it's good for a daily usage. I haven't found a reason to uninstall it
I have trouble with the gps lock times but this happens in every rom I try, nougat or pie... quite annoying. Maybe I should edit the gps.conf file
Thanks to the developer

For device parts settings it's here on next weekly.
Thanks for the new features in the last update
- fingerprint wakes device, swap buttons option, phone more responsive, etc...
I manage to fix the gps, it was a problem with microg, I installed more backends for location and it only takes 2 seconds for the first fix..
This is the only pie rom that has everything working out of the box.
Great!
Sorry If there's already some talks about that on different topics, but I find easier to talk about this latest release on a centralised one.
My findings are that Oplus updated the gamebar which now takes more onscreen space, but is now easier to use
The second one is a real thermal behavior change : I used to flash Omega Kernel on 11.2.5.5 and quickly the o+ 9Pro stabilized under 42/43°C . On the latest OOs build with stock kernel, I'm now @ 37-38°C after 30 min of playing the same game. 5-6 degres gained is pretty a good upgrade.
I'll check what are the photo behavior changes as I've done few reproductible raw photos to test, and see how the white balance upgrades are this week end

I deeply can't say that comparing two different iteration of kernel. But it appears to me O+ finally made some progress concerning power and heat behaviour.
I will for sure flash omega kernel as I did with every releases, but I'm happy to see that vanilla stock kernel is working better than ever
My battery life dramatically improved with the .6.6 update. Granted the phone is still new for me, but I went from ~4h SOT every day to 6h+ yesterday

I'm running Omega, but I was running omega before so although I'm sure Omega helps battery, it was still not great before the update. The new changes he made to reduce watermarking may have been a factor, and I also disabled RAM optimization in Oneplus settings which I'm pretty sure helped.
TY for the explanation :=)
Noticed that the oneplus contacts apk won't work with the upgrade. Have to fall back to the original Google contacts apk.
Edit: Got this version to work. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...144013-75a9639-android-apk-download/download/

I dont know ... I still get some sketchy network connections.. All of a sudden, I'll get 10 notifications at once.
Camera .. still have a focus issue. Certain areas are perfectly focused and others are not sharp. Like a bokeh effect.

The notification thing is most likely due to Oneplus's "Intelligent control" for battery saving. It may be "optimizing power usage" too aggressively for your apps. Go to the power settings for each app with the issue individually and change it to "do not optimize" to ensure you get notifications on time

PLZ how is the reception signal ? the official firmware had some issues in switching automatically between 4G/ 3G reception
your crdroid 0328 is still the best.
this rom is suck yet
Everything good so far, will update if any issues are found
please advise on how to disable this weather widget on the lock screen in this ROM?

disabling weather in at glance widget does not affect this

I mean Xiaomi official firmware has issues when the 4G signal is low it does not change to 3G reception automatically thus your mobile number will be unreachable .... what about this point in this custom ROM ?

Found an issue but it seems to effect most android 11 roms. A security update forces android 11 to not have the option to not use a CA certificate making it incompatible with some enterprise networks. If anyone knows a fix please let me know

How does this ROM hold such a large amount of charge? Surely performance or something else has to be affected to achieve it?

I'm using it cause... "auto upgrade"...
And all in all I'm ok with it but I'm experiencing one "bug" (see down below). Colors might be more saturated than before, but it's ok for me and it doesn't "hurt my eyes" as some describe it. I'm using the "natural" display mode and the display warmth slider is in the middle.
I read through the linked article a bit but it seams like the experience is very subjective or not all users experience this phenomenon or at least not as bad / strong.
-------
Since my upgrade to Android 12 I'm experiencing one quite annoying bug.
Background:
I'm using my device with the work profile to keep annoying apps at bay.
Using "Shelter" app.
Using "Aurora Store" in work profile to install apps.
No factory reset was performed since upgrade.
Not rooted.
Problem:
Since the upgrade to Android 12 I'm experiencing an quite annoying bug. Using the "phone" app (private profile) I have no sound and microphone sometimes. So I can't hear and can't be heard. If I'm activating the work profile and use the "phone" app (again from private profile) I suddenly have sound and microphone.
Fix / workaround:
Activate the work profile.
Another way to "fix" this problem is to reboot the phone.
After reboot it works for an undefined time. I haven't tested if the problem starts after using work profile and deactivating it again. I'm testing it and I'll try to not forget to post an update for others.
FYI:
If sound from other apps does work, wasn't tested until now. If you need to call you normally have no time for testing, so reboot it was for me.
Tested solutions:
Tested some general "solutions" from REDDIT & Co.
Editing settings in "Sound & vibration" -> "Audio effects": recommended -> "activate Dolby ATMOS". Phone doesn't have that so i resetted the setting (after tapping "Audio effects" tap "Settings" at the bottom then tap 3 dot menu and tap "Reset")
- DIDN'T WORK
Suggestion: it's a carrier problem
Set network selection to manual and select your corresponding network.
- DIDN'T WORK
Deactivate or activate "Wi-Fi calling". (mine was activated so I deactivated it)
- DIDN'T WORK
Enable or disable "VoLTE". (mine was activated so I deactivated it)
- DIDN'T WORK
My questions:
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Has anyone found a solution?
Thanks
This is a Magisk module that adds a hardware overlay for the Xperia 10 III for any PHH-Treble based ROM.
This amongst other things enables auto brightness!
To install, simply copy to your phone, and in Magisk use the "install from storage" option, then reboot.
While this overlay is based on official Sony files, it should be considered very experimental because I have no idea what I'm doing. GLHF

hi . your overlay is fine exept you have missed to remove some no-existing attribute for phh-gsi see https://github.com/pepijndevos/vendor_hardware_overlay/pull/1
phh said in my PR "I'll allow it" regarding these properties, which is why I left them. https://github.com/phhusson/vendor_hardware_overlay/pull/413#issuecomment-968368630 but I have not heard from him since, so unclear to me if he'll whitelist them or what I should do about them. If he'd told me to remove them I'd obviously have done so.

See https://github.com/phhusson/vendor_hardware_overlay/pull/423
Overlay checked in sources & tested its fully stable.
Its will be included in next phh release its good news!
Great news. Bit weird that he did not give feedback on my PR for almost a month and then merged yours, but whatever.
One weird issue I'm having with my phone is that audio from Whatsapp/Signal/Twitter spaces plays at 3x speed fragments. I should test if this overlay has any effect on that. @ada12 does calling in Whatsapp/Signal work for your?
