[Q] UK TV-Apps like BBC iPlayer, ITV etc. for Fire TV Stick

Hello everyone,
are there APK's available of the Amazon Fire TV Stick Versions of the TV Apps from UK like BBC IPlayer?
I have a Germany based Account and cannot download them through the Amazon App Store since the Workaround with the region change doesn't work anymore.
I therefore tried to sideload the normal Android Versions to the Fire TV Stick but they don't work with the Remote.
Would really appreciate it if someone could extract those TV Apps and share here.
Guide to extract the APK's is available here: http://www.aftvnews.com/how-to-transfer-amazon-fire-tv-apps-to-a-fire-tv-stick/#more-3475
Thanks in advance.

You don't need to sideload them. Go to amazon.com --->Login with you username/password(German account login credentials should be possible here). Go to your account and select Manage your content and devices. Select Settings tab. Change the country to UK from the country settings.
Now restart the fire tv and you should be able to search for UK apps and download them. You can even search for those apps on Amazon.com and select install it on fire tv.

Sadly this method isn't working and wasn't working then. So from what i've read everywhere in order to get the app somewhere else outside of the UK you need to get the APK.
So i would still be interested in those APK's if someone in the UK can extract them from their FireTV-Stick and put them into a dropbox or something else.
Thanks in advance

Is their a way I can get YouTube TV to work on Fire Stick? (Non-rooted)

I've side loaded the latest apk but when I open it, it's saying it needs google play services to run. Is their any non rooted workarounds to this? I just want to use my free trial on my fire stick lol thanks in advance
followed the instructions here to get google services working
AFTVNEWS
Sideloaded YouTube TV App
I can select my login but it can't find location
I tried sideloading the settings app figuring I could just turn on location services but I was unable to select the check boxes

Running Android apps on Fire TV

I am new to fire tv. I installed MSG GO to my FireTV but it says I need to install google play services to make it run. I looked all over and have not found a way to make it work. Is this something I can do?
Thanks!

How can I get OpenVPN working with Kodi & Do I need to root my Amazon Fire TV Stick?

How can I get OpenVPN working with Kodi & Do I need to root my Amazon Fire TV Stick?
Hi,
Currently I've done a really weird hacky way of getting my VPN working...
1. Installed NordVPN via Apps2Fire
2. Installed KodiOnBoot via Apps2Fire
3. Setup NordVPN to Boot on Launch
4. Setup KodiOnBoot to Launch Kodi after 120 Seconds of Screen Timeout (Alternatively I can just press Home & Load Kodi manually)
NordVPN was a nussiance to get it to where I've managed to get it to so far because you can't scroll down in the settings correctly. Likewise the same problem with OpenVPN's application, I can't scroll down so I can't even get that app to boot...
However in Kodi there is an OpenVPN app you can download via https://brianhornsby.com/kodi_addons/openvpn however when trying to setup that it just tells me to Check the Log because it failed to connect to the .opvn file yet I can't find the log and I have a feeling its to do with root/su.
Any ideas what I should do to get around this?
Thanks

Adding gapps to Chinese market android tv (Sony X9500H)

Recently acquired a mainland model Sony X9500H. I have managed to install aptoide TV and get Netflix with Dolby Vision working, I would ideally like to setup the android TV gapps package. I can not log into youtube without the core services and the aptoide store is hit or miss.
The TV runs android 9 and I have connected adb via network and enabled developer options. However, am not able to reboot into recovery. This ended up with a blank screen and no power on, a hard reset wiped the TV back to factory state.
Any tips for working with android 9 TVs to allow me to flash the Gapps package? Alternatively what is a full list of APKs needed to get functionality? I tried google play services and google play store, but the store would not open after install.
