No, just bootloader unlocked, i try pixel rom and other custom roms, but camera is far away of all working, so i came back to stock miui, a10, eu version.
Same problem with global rom
Miui 11.0.5 global rom here, same problem.
Tried everything.
Reinstalling rom, factory reset, wiping data.
Removed autostart permissions
Debloating most apps
Turned off miui customization
Turned dark mode off ( this got me 2 extra hrs screen on time) but still android system was 30+%
I saw a couple of phones of same model with it taking only 8% and other phones running miui 11 with android 9 with no problem.
There must be something we are missing or I might have to roll back to android 9

I bought zuk z2 4 days back and I installed latest official Indian nougat ROM on it then I unlocked the bootloader and installed few custom ROMs like jaguar nougat , jaguar Oreo , aosp extended , pixel experience etc on each and very rom I face a problem that is after installing any custom ROM the phone was neither charging nor discharging and sign of charging was flashing it was not constant so I tried many things like
1- changing back to stock marshmallow then charging started working again so I unlocked bootloader on marshmallow version and installed custom ROM it doesn't worked again so installed stock nougat qpst through qfil
2 again installed fee custom roms and deleted battterystats.bin it wasn't working again on different ROMs .
3. Tried different charger and wires again it wasn't charging and discharging
4 charging seems to not working even when I switch off it just stuck at that percentage
It seems to working only when you boot into recovery mode
Help me what should I do to solve this problem

same problem bro. only viper 3.1 version is showing correct battery percentage. all other roms shows me 65% even if it is at 0%.
i contacted aex developers . they suggested battery caliberation app. even that sucks. aex 5.2 rom is awesome . but it has battery problem and few features like pip mode, camera protrait etc are not working at all. if you get the solution. please share it me.
until then, use viper 3.1, no matter how many i got stuck at other roms. viper 3.1 saved me all the time. but i want oreo so waiting for the solution from someone

That's the same with me but not as bad as you are getting I am getting 5 hours of sot I am using aosip with the kernal
I had the same issue when i moved from Viper 3.1 to Oreo 8.1 custom roms (AEX, Pixel Experience and RR 6.0). After flashing the F1xy kernel , on each of them i am getting a SOT of barely 2-3 hours, as compated to 5-6 hours i was getting on Viper 3.1. Also, the battery drains pretty quick.
Like other, i too posted this query on AEX's Google+ page, and was suggested to use Batter Calibration app or resetting the batter stat file. None of them have worked.
Kernel has helped to resolve the charging and calibration issue, but batter backup has worsen.
Let us know if anyone is able to identify the problem and have a solution for it. This doesn't seem to be problem with all devices, just a few. I wonder what it might be.

Hello everybody,
-I have bought lately used mi max 32GB (Hydrogen) on miui 9.5.2 global stable
-I use my phone for browsing internet and social media-no game-no calls(Data sim)
-I disables (all notifications-led lights-second space-quick ball-etc...)+battery saver+restrict background activity
-I only get 9 hours sot on 3g or 10 hours on wifi+4% or 5% battery drain in idle mode.So downclocking the cpu may help me to save battery
Question:
1-What can I do to save more power in miui 9?
2-I heard of ultra power saving mode is found in miui 8.How can I downgrade to it?Is it helpful?
3-What can I do to save more power using root (custom rom-custom kernel)?
Waiting your feedback
Up.....................................Up.................................................Up
You can't... Ultra power saving is present only with MTK SoC's (& it's still much behind SD). Either switch to older MiUI 8.2~8.3 or to costume ROM.

Thank you for your reply,But I have two questions:
1- How can I downgrade to miui 8 without unlocking bootloader?
I`am now on Global beta Miui 9 -8.4.19
2-How Can I achieve 0% power consumption in idle mode without root?
1. The same way you installed that one & from the same place, just pick older version & download it.
http://en.miui.com/download-302.html
2. You can't it sucks 0.3~0.5% per h.

1-I installed miui 9 Global beta 8.4.19 using updater app.Can I install miui global stable 8 using the same way?
Because Some people say you should use mi flash +edl mode
2-I used before another phone(alcatel pixi 4 power)+greenify without root ,and I could achieve 0% or 1% at maximum in 15 continuous hours in idle mode
I don`t know why it doesn't work well in miui 9?
note:-I disables (all notifications-led lights-second space-quick ball-etc...)+battery saver+restrict background activity
3-Is there any app that can disable everything in mobile (calls-sms-notifications-wakelocks-background apps-any other feature)?
Because I don`t use mobile at all for at least 15 hours daily!!

Which you can get when you: unlock boot loader, root, flash a costume ROM & take a control of the phone. In the meanwhile address your complaints to the one's in charge on the official MIUI forum. This is costume ROM's community and we wouldn't make our efforts if we were really satisfied with what OEM's offered.

A) Nope. So called "ultra power saving mode" is tied to vendor not MIUI or Android version.
The MIUI 8.3 is based on the Android 6 and whose one of the better firmware releases regarding battery life. That's why I recommend it in the first place.
B) it's MTK own frequency scheduler set of restrictions ment to extend the battery life but in generally their SoC's are less efficient than Snapdragons. Only Sony has an rather good "Ultra power saving mode" included in their firmwares and disregarding of the SoC vendor.
C# Unlock the boot loader, root, make recovery & kernel backup with flashify (or something similar), install latest unofficial TWRP by nijel8, flash the unofficial LineageOS 14.1 by nijel8, latest firmware & Open Gapps (micro or pico), install the script of your choice from power/performance thread (post no#5) & let it boot. In settings enable the hotplug option, reboot and enjoy. This end's this discussion for me.

So I tried to left Twitter in recents for an hour and when I re opened it, the app doesn't have to restart but it's not exactly at the same state. It may be caused by some other apps (xda, reddit, galerie, camera, Snapchat and skype) that were also in recents and needed to free some memory
However oos 10 is worth a try, those new animation feel much better than on oos 9

thank you for your time i appreciate it. anyway clearing the recent apps all the time stresses the memory and in somehow wastes your time. later versions of android efficiently manage background apps [recents] so it won't eat up your battery and you won't wait longer when getting back to your apps.
you can try PE Plus
It is a preference to be fair but out of the main ROMs the stable choices with frequent support and updates appear to be
Oxygen os based:
Theone5tOS
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-theone5tos-v1-0-t3729798
Pixel based:
Pixel experience (or optional plus version with extras)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-pixel-experience-t3976333
Stock android based:
DerpFest (very customisable)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-unofficial-aosip-aka-derpfest-t3978357
Crdroid
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-crdroid-android-6-t3972533
They are the most stable and frequently updated which some people would class as best.
While others would say best is for battery life and if so then usually pie builds without gapps if possible say like
Lineage OS 16
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-lineageos-16-0-pie-oneplus-5t-t3843026
Would be your best bet as you would save a lot just removing all the bloatware and background features that comes with gapps.
Again it's preferance and based on individual use cases same reason why people publishing SOT means absolutely nothing. As unless they show a before and after with a guide to drastically change the battery life ; all they're doing is saying if you use it like me you may get this time (some people only text and phone and some game while others are social media butterflies).
---------- Post added at 02:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 PM ----------
PS. as long as you sync all you apps and photos and data with Google everything will transfer to the new ROM. when you sign in with your Google account pick restore from cloud.
If you have anything that is installed from another source or a patched app ; then you can use Titanium backup to backup all apps and restore them when you have installed the new ROM.
Usual procedure to change ROM is :
1.Unlock bootloader
2.Install twrp or another custom recovery. ( I recommend orangefox as you can manage magisk modules easy through it.)
3.wipe system and data but do not format data where SD is if you want to keep what's on your phone's drive. (never wipe vendor as it has the treble files in it.)
4. Flash ROM zip you have chosen.
5. Flash magisk if you want root with mods if not just the keep recovery zip if installing oos. (oos replaces twrp or other recovery's with oos ones when installing not a big problem as can be flashed through fastboot again.)
6.optional you can install custom kernal or no Verity at this point.
7.reboot into new ROM (sometimes takes 10 minutes or so to boot up.) and restore desired files and apps by clicking restore from the cloud.
I've only wrote this second part of the reply as you also asked for advice on transitioning to a new ROM and keeping apps ect. Even though for more advice on the unlocking and rooting I would read the available guide.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3704592
you can try pixel rom, but overall I think stock rom is best. And this is oneplus, so, stock roms are so close to any other custom rom.
Yes, i agree with you before i update to Android 10. I experienced a poor battery life compared to Android 9; i make improvements installing a custom kernel but i'm far away from battery life of Android 9.
ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 has finally arrived for the OnePlus 9 Pro
It's a Beta version for the moment and therefore unstable (you could potentially encounter some bugs).
If you want a review :
If you want to flash from OxygenOS, you will have to downgrade to OxygenOS 12 C.47
If you are already on ColorOS, you can directly flash it.

I like OOS 11, but hated OOS 12. I found ColorOS 13 surprisingly good. Runs smoothly and has tons of features. Battery life is good. OP9Pro is not my daily device so I do not have a SIM in it so I can't tell you if calls and data are working or not.

Apart from OxygenOS 13 not existing for OP9P yet ?
ColorOS is for Chinese users so it has a lot of Chinese apps and no Google services.
OxygenOS will have Google services and OnePlus apps but no Chinese apps.
OK, that explains it well.
I installed this version, I reset the device but I have problems with notifications, neither message notification comes from WhatsApp nor sound settings I look at all smooth but when I enter WhatsApp notifications, it appears silent when I select sound when I exit the application and enter, it appears silent again.

The ram optimization is really 100% better than oos 12, app animation is better too
Plus you get widevine L1
Upgraded from oos 12 c.47 with google stuff
And works perfectly
The notification seems to be disabled by default
That's why people say the don't receive it
Went into the app notification settings
And it was unchecked

The overnight battery drain is about 1%
There are two modes
high performance and normal mode
The geekbench 5 results for
1. High performance:
single core 1089 multi 3211
2. Normal mode
single core 808 multi 3215
For me i only use the phone for YouTube and streaming, web browsing etc.. so i only use high performance mode disabled
The screen on time is definitely noticeably better than oos12 by i would say 40 to 1 hour
Cheers

Battery life is slightly lower than Project Elixir in my testing, Elixir gave me around 14 hours screen on time and Lineage is giving me 10-11. Overall system smoothness is good though. Have you tried any other ROM?

Installing it according to instructions provided on the lineage os website results in not being able to boot into recovery.
However, I was able to flash twrp recovery. But flashing lineage OS 20 rom through twrp results in bootloop. Any ideas?
I had the latest MIUI version running before unlocking the bootloader yesterday
