Recently bought an s8+ and I can't get samsung pay to work. I am in the USA and have the model G955FD. I downloaded Spay off of google play and each time I try and start it, it says cannot connect to server. Anyway to get this to work?
I just added the sim to the phone and it works, but according to some guide I read on here it isn't fully working with tmobile. i.imgur.com/nw9IZbm.png
What firmware do I flash to the phone and is there a guide? Also will flashing the phone lead to more problems, such as permanently disabling samsung pay?
Do I have to flash TMobile software or some other software? Thanks
I have been trying to unlock a Samsung Galaxy S9 T-Mobile model SM-G960U to use it on local carrier (Ecuador) with no luck (I have use doctorSIM service too)
After booting the phone a got a message:
Security error.
This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software is locked. Call you mobile operator for additional support. Please note that a repair/return for this issue may have additional cost.
Trying to use the T-Mobile device unlock app, then a screen shows up with a message "Your device is network locked at this time, which prevents it from operating with other compatible wireless networks. To inquire about your device's unlock eligibility please continue" but after tapping the Continue button there is not option of permanent unlock, I got a message saying: "Server not responding. Please try again later."
I have trying to install de stock firmware G960USQU7ETG3_G960UOYN7ETG3_TMB (Android 10) downloaded from Frija using the Odin tool, doing a factory reset, wiping the cache, doing a NAND Erase with Odin, but the security error still shows up.
The device is able to browse on websites using Wi-Fi, what should I try next?
paid services are the only way. You won't get help on that here. They employ a different type of lock than most devices.
@OP
I don't know all the ins and outs of tmobile unlocking (not a fan of their service). However, I recently had in hand a paid off s9+ which was still locked. I ran the unlocking app multiple times over the course of a few hours. Each time it came back with an error (unsuccessful or something to that effect) when I tried the permanent unlock. For each attempt the tmo sim with active service was still installed. Eventually it did finally unlock. I'm not sure if a tmobile sim with active service is a necessity. Probably is as it has to authenticate the account for unlock eligibility.
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S9 Sm-g960u and needed to switch to T-mobile. I had no problem switching from one carrier to another because I was told that all Samsung Galaxy S9 devices came factory unlocked. I bought a T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Note from a friend and tried using the T-mobile app to unlock the phone I think there was a problem so he just called T-mobile and explained that he sold his old phone blah blah blah and since he owned it they just unlocked it right over the phone, no problems or issues.
On T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10+ SM-N975U I've noticed "com.tmobile.pr.adapt" running as service. This is draining battery. The phone is Network unlocked, so my question is should I simply use Odin Patched and flash US Unlocked SM-N975U1 with XAA CSC on it? I could not figure out the actual function of that running process.
Thank you in advanced!
Have you tried removing it via adb? In the past I used package disabler but no longer use that or own t-mobile branded devices

It's part of the T-Mobile app. If you're not interested in using the ADB commands, or, using a package disabler app to "freeze" the app, this is the next best thing to do (probably seen this when you initially set up your phone when new/after a factory reset). It basically/supposedly turns off the worst part of the "com.tmobile.pr.adapt".

I just package block it... some say you can disable it in it's app settings as well.
Should be listed as a installed app in settings.
Thank you all! I was able to simply flash the phone with the U1 firmware. Since the phone is unlocked anyway, I'm really enjoying using the US unlocked firmware.. No more bloatware.. Am able to use T-Mobile without any issues..
Thanks

I have 2 big problems with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G Android 11! Bought it in Spain, have installed Samsung Firmware through Samsung Menu and BOOTLOADER ID is EUX(is from Samsung itself)!!
Bought the phone in Vodafone shop so this is my service provider Software version: SAOMC_SM-G988B_OXM_ATL_RR_0030 ATL/ATL_ATL/EUX/ATL
I bought a Network Unlock code installed a PHE stock rom firmware but didn't change a thing! So I don't know if the Network Unlock code worked or not because it stays registered at ATL=CSC code Vodafone(Spain)
Tried to uninstall pre-installed service provider programs, got some definetely uninstalled but not all of them, reinstalled an other stock firmware PHE again and nothing got changed again!
So now I need help from real wizards to help me with this problem!
I want bootloader ID CHANGED to PHE for example and want all pre-installed programs definetely uninstalled from my device, at the moment they get automaticly installed at the end of installing new firmware!
Doesn't something exist to format but real format as a SDD from a PC? Something like that should be found out that we can wipe everything and start all over again!
Is there not such possibility with unlocking the bootloader and installing new stock firmware again? I tried that but it fails, does someone now there a solution for?
Network Unlock Code to use to Unlock the Network lock code is locked now because it was a bad code they gave me and now it is asking for a MCK. Anyone knows how to get a MCK code?
