Am I the only one who has this problem !!
I do a camera calibration always fails, and I tried to downgrade from the latest MIUI 11 android 10 to MIUI 10 android 9 and the results are the same on android 9 MIUI 10 I even found a lot of problems with the camera.
problem in MIUI 10 A9 :
1. the CIT test mode feature on the camera is partially malfunctioning and only the main camera is functioning
2. Camera calibration application in CIT mode is not running
3. Ultra Wide cameras do not function only the main camera that runs in this mode
4. portrait mode does not work and displays the message camera is not connected
5. on the front camera there is a red line that disappears lines arise only for a moment but it is very worrying about this condition
previously I hoped to be able to use camera calibration on MIUI 10 A9 but the results still could not be with various problems.
I am now using MIUI 11 A10 again and all the cameras are running well but I still can't use the camera calibration feature on the CIT menu.
my question is my device's camera has a problem or is the camera calibration application still in the testing stages ???

I am a big fan of my Mi 9 SE. But there are two things that disapoint me:
1. The MACRO MODE never made it (yet) to my device. I have MIU global stable 10.3.4, and there is no macro mode tk be found...
2. The lack of PRO VIDEO MODE in the camera is very puzzling to me. PRO MODE is already present in the camera, why not for VIDEO too? If Xiaomi does not intend on adding pro video, at least they could release the SDK for other devs to have access to all lenses, so we could use alternate Camera Video Apps that have full manual features....
Now that we have optimized kernel for battery, I think the weakness of this phone is video recording which is too unstable.
Still no pro mode for video even on the latest MIUI 11
Hi everyone,
After I updated my phone to Android 10, I faced a problem with ported Google Camera so the issue was when I shot with no HDR+, the photo captured and stored as fast but with poor details, however when switching to HDR+ or Enhanced HDR+ there's no more processing and no stored picture.
I've made some search, I found that there's a problem with stock google camera of Pixel phone running Android 10 , and Google say that was a bug and they will roll out a correctifs for that in next days.
So, in my case, with Nokia, I found like solution is to simply reboot the phone and having the app work perfectly with some laggs in the start.
Have free to share yours.
What version of ported Google Camera are you using on Android 10? Google Camera version 7.x is designed for Android 10.
After some testing, I just installed this version: https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/GCam_5beta6.200105.0445build-7.2.018.apk
And it works pretty fine on my Nokia 6.1. This version is multilanguage and I like it. If the camera doesn't save pictures, just try these steps:
Open Gcam properties.
There is an option of battery optimisation which must be disabled. (Some users reported that this is needed for correct HDR+ processing.)
System modification settings enabled.
Reboot your device and then check it
Am using for now Parrot ported gcam version 7.2 and it work perfectly without laggs and hdr+ processing

After I flashed my phone with lineage os 16,I decided to download Google camera to hopefully get some better quality pictures, but after I installed PGMC_7.0.009_HDR_VERSION13, I tried to take a picture with hdr+, but it didn't save, the picture will save if I turn off hdr+. And then the next day I found out that it was using my secondary camera and not the main 12mp,I have tried multiple versions of gcam already and all of them are either using my secondary camera or just outright crashes(on gcam 7.0+),has anyone encountered this odd issue?
My redmi note 5 pro is the China version, with front 12mp camera.
Hi folks,
once i got my oneplus 9 pro phone I instantly flashed LineageOS 18.1 and installed the latest GCam .apk built by Greatness (the GCam by BSG doesn't switch to the ultrawide lens 0.6 !). From the beginning the focus of the camera seems not to work optimally. After I've pointed the area on the screen I want to be sharp, the focus of the camera "jumps", flutters respectively several times to adjust the sharpness and suddenly starts to jump again while I suggest the focus it already set and therefore I take blurry pictures often. For the stock camera disabling the "focus tracking" option should solve the problem. Is there any option for the GCam to fix the focus issue ? Are there options within the developer settings ? The focus is working much more better using e.g. Pixtica foto app (but the resolution of Pixtica is worse)....
Since I've played a lot with the GCam settings (even with the RAM patcher and the developer settings) I guess I've adjust something wrongly.... How can I reset GCam (App -> deleting cache and settings seems not to work) ?
Thanks in advance
Really no idea ? The issue still exists ....
