Invictrix ROM​For the Huawei Honor 5x (kiwi)​
Welcome to Invictrix! Our goal is to provide users with a unique staple in Android Development which aims at stability and optimizations along with what we feel is the perfect amount of features. We hope you enjoy this ROM as much as our great team has had while building it. With that said, We are in no way shape or form responsible if you brick your phone.

Installation:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (latest TWRP, 3.2.3 or above)
1) Copy InvictrixROM zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe dalvik, cache, system, & data
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
Issues:
- SELinux is PERMISSIVE
- No HDR on default camera app
- Local mp3 playback fails on some apps
Reporting Bugs:
Logcat, Logcat, Logcat
Please submit logs if you're having an issue. If there is no log we cannot help you. Simply clogging the threads with “This issue happened, fix it” will get you nowhere and you will be ignored. To Also add to the Log Criteria, Your bug report won't be used if:
- You are not on a clean flash of the ROM
- If you're using Xposed
- If you’ve flashed any other mod that tweaks System in any way
So help us to help you and provide logs for issues. Thanks.

No need for another stock flash, but make sure you clean flash if coming from LOS

Flashing Instructions:
Pre-installation:
TWRP (Download from here)
gapps (Download from here)
Magisk 20.0 or newer for root (after first boot) - (Download from here)
First time installation:
Make sure you have the last version of color os you ever installed/was on device was 6.0 as its firmware is required.
If you come from an Android 9 Rom make sure to take backup of internals as it may encrypt it.(Similar to all 10 ROMS)
Transfer the zip and gapps to device
Flash rom and gapps
Flash Magisk if root req
Reboot
Update installation:
Transfer the zip to device.
Flash it.
If Magisk is installed it should reinstall Automatically after flashing the rom
Reboot

DOWNLOAD ROM

First time installing crDroid to your phone, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip,vendor img, to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Any mirror link? Always stuck at 35% on three tries. Would like to try this rom

Hi,
Rom seems to have a bug. After flashing and starting I got no keyboard and also no play store is preinstalled. Maybe there is a problem with gapps. Did a complete clean flash.

Finally was able to download and flash the rom. No gapps since it is vanilla build so i flashed gapps. Could not set up the phone because there's no keyboard included in rom. Mobile data also doesn't work.

Yeah thanks. I also thought that cause of the filesize the rom got. Other Roms with gapps included are bigger than this one.

Go to the website, thre's link to android 10 and 11, with gapps and everything.
Just try Android 11 with pitch black recovery, another recovery don't work.

@AdiAtul Thanks for the flashing instructions. While I didn't install this one (Android 11), but installed Android 10, the flashing instructions you have given were very useful.

Nice rom. Native Video Calling is missing. Also update the forum description and everything since on the website (crdroid.net). It says the latest build is stable

I have a problem with the front camera, all the apps either show a black screen or hang.
I've trimmed the logs a bit, if I cut too much, let me know and I'll resend
