So I have galaxy s9(SM-G960U) with (G960USQS7DTD1) software version and its snap Dragon American version , I got it from amazon
I live in egypt so the problem is that , the phone reception is totally sucks , I cant even use 3G inside the house , my previous galaxy s7 has a decent 4G coverage inside the house
not only this , but the phone has a sprint activation software that keep checking for my sim card to check whether its sprint or not (like the picture)

So I think my problem is that I have limited frequency bands support which is being used by sprint network
so is there any software solution for this ?? like flashing any other global samsung software rather than sprint one ??
is frequency bands support is limited by software or hardware or both of them ??
I bought 2 phones unfortunately and I cant even sell it or return it back , So could you please help

Hey guys! I'm running Jack Pham AOKP 35 (All pirated apps removed)
It's a nice ROM (apart from the pirated apps), but since I updated, it shows 4G... I know for a fact, that my network operator has got LTE masts, but then again, my phone is GSM, see where my problem is? The internet speed hasn't changed, nor the quality, so I'm thinking it's a mod in the ROM, tricking people, into thinking, they've got 4G, but they're running on HSPA+...
Here is the screenshot:

I'm new to AOKP, so I don't want to search and mod myself, yet... (I on't know, if the code is different, than on/in AOSP)
The GSM does not have lte radio. That rom just decided to change the icon to 4g.
they've just taken the "4G" icon from an LTE ROM and put it on the GSM ROM when you're connected to HSPA+.

(Sorry for the weird URL title, but thats what they made it)
Please come to Sprint, please come to Sprint, please come to Sprint
Pretty sure they said CDMA devices will be released a month after ATT & T-Mo (GSM)

I wonder if Sprint and the other carriers would release this considering the GS5 will be out not too later, assuming the updated S4 becomes available for purchase near the end of the year.

Did they ever wind up selling the S2 Plus?
Good morning guys. I am no professional when it comes to phone bands, network, etc. So I would like to ask for some help. I recently purchased a Chinese version of the one plus 3 and will use it in the USA under T-Mobile. Seller said in his item description that it will work in t-mobile, AT&T just fine however I did my research and found mix answers some say it does some say they don't.

Yea but I also asked seller and and he said this "In the America,4G LTE(FDD) Network Only Support T-Mobile and AT&T,Not Support Verizon and Sprint" btw I received the phone today but am afraid to open it and find out it doesn't work. Hard to talk to these eBay sellers sometimes. I just want the assurance
T-Mobile
AT&T
Aw so it means it not. That sucks seller telling me it does work. I'll have to return it and look for a USA version of the phone
Today I found out that the OP3 supports 256QAM although it is a CAT6 phone. This would mean it doesn‘t match the LTE Standards in any way. This made me thinking if the modem in reality is no CAT6 modem and may be able to support 3CA. Maybe it is just limited by software. So does anybody know something about this?
Here is a Screenshot from Network Signal Guru with 256QAM:

I‘m currently roaming, Just had a (really really poor) 3CA Signal on the Orange FR Network. That should mean it is possible even if I haven‘t seen it anywhere else.
AT&T told me that I have to upgrade my prepaid plan in order to get 5G speeds (I know, they're not really 5G), and I don't want to keep $1100 phone and pay more for service if I am unable to get them because phone does not have correct bands. Three websites list different bands for US model and I could swear OnePlus website did not list bands n260 and n261 a week ago. Then who is finally right?

Or finally OnePlus?
If you buy the North American variant, the bands are there.
But the problem with AT&T is that OnePlus has not certified
the 9 series for their 5G network so you wanna double check that
but regardless you have to buy the correct model for North America(U.S & Canada).
