I have Aptx compatible headphones but they only work with sbc. How can I activate the aptx Códecs, or i need to change the rom?

I received my android 9 update yesterday for my vivo v9. I notice however that after the update I cannot use aptx, aptx hd or ldac codec anymore for my fiio btr3, only sbc & AAC. Tried changing via dev option but it always revert back to AAC after. Does the android 9 update removes aptx & ldac codec?

Yes, you're right. My Klipsch Speaker is now connecting via aptX where before it would just say AAC.

Yes, my Trosnmart Onyx Ace now connect to the aptx codec.
It supports even AptX HD ?
Is that anyone done miui 12 update and aptx hd working after that ??
I want to buy the WH-1000XM3 which among other things can aptX HD among the many other codecs. Does anyone know if the 11 5G NE or its SOC supports this and then you have to select where extra? This headphone can several codecs and I want to use as far as that is possible with the phone for the best, which would probably be the aptX HD.
Yes I'm using aptx HD with my Fiio BTR3K. it sounds very good.
For some reason LDAC is broke in this phone. Comparing LDAC on both the Poco X3 Pro and the NE the NE sounds worse.

You select aptx HD in developer settings. If you keep scrolling down you'll see it. It's called 'Bluetooth audio codec'.
