Samsung A505G volume and earphones problems - Samsung Galaxy A50 Questions & Answers

Hi! my phone started failing. First it didnt recognize when i plug the earphones and it showed like usb charger was plugged and unplugged. After reinstalling latest rom it corrected the USB problem but not the earphones. Now, after latest update volume started to go down by itself.
Anyone facing this problems? Any solution?

speaker randomly dies - no hardware problem!

g´d evening guys.
hope that someone can help me out with this one:
i´m using schaps 3.54c and it was working fine for a long time, but now it randomly happens that my speaker dies. i mean ...yeah, well, it just dies - but audio is still working via the usb headphones. it gets even stranger because i was able to get it back working a few times by enabling/disabling flight mode or starting strange combinations of audio players at the same time.
but now it´s dead again and i can try whatever i want = no chance to get it back so far, and i don´t want to reflash.
anyone with an idea, suggestion?
Same thing happened to me. Its the plug. When you plug in the usb headset it triggers the device to send the sound via usb. When you take it out, it stays Via usb because something is broken inside the plug and it doesnt go to the external speakers. I used to have to plug it in and out 10 times to get it to go back to external speakers. Afer a few weeks of that it wouldnt go to the external speakers at all.

[Q] Volume Randomly Increasing and Decreasing

Hi, when I plug in any earphones into the jack the volume randomly increases and decreases. This just happened yesterday suddenly, tried rebooting the phone a couple of times and no luck.
I've tried a few apps to disable volume control from headphones but can't find any which actually work.
This is really irritating since I am unable to listen to my music on my phone as it goes crazy when any kind of earphone is plugged in.
Anyone had this problem before and any idea what is causing it? I am currently on 4.3 and will try a software upgrade to see if it solves this problem.

I have updated already and the problem is still there, I have also gone a factory reset. Guess its a problem with the headphone jack, will be sending it in for a repair.

Headphone connectivity issue

Hey All,
I just started noticing an issue with my headphone port today.
When I plug my headphones into the port as I normally do, they don't get recognized. I now have to plug it in partially until I see the headset notification icon, and then completely plug it in.
Has anyone encountered this?

When you plug in headphones, does the phone recognize that headphones are plugged in? Tried different headphones?
Did a factory reset? Re-flashed a stock ROM?

Sounds like a hardware problem that needs to be fixed with a socket replacement.

USB audio

Anyone else experiencing intermittent USB audio out after upgrading to Oreo?
Sometimes plugging/unplugging the audio jack several times will do the trick, other times you have to have the adapter and jack hooked up and reboot your phone.
Never had this problem with Nougat
