the thing is i have over 110 GB free space?!!!

Not on the "System Partition" - that's (basically) a limited/fixed size portion of the 128GB total as laid out by your rom/Nubia/Redmagic.
(It can be more complicated than that, but you need to read up on Android partitions, etc.)

Market: "Download was unsuccessful please try again"

I have SuperNova ROM on the phone (Supernova_2.4.0.1_signed.zip). I have root and S-OFF (stock HBOOT image). Now that I have finally found a ROM that expands my internal memory some of the apps don't want to install. So the situation is that most of the apps do install, but when I try to install some of them I get an error message right after the download of the app is complete, and before the installation starts.
This is the error message:
Download error
Download was unsuccessful,
please try again.

One example of app that always fails every time I try to install it, is Angry Birds by Rovio Mobile. The download size is 33.83 MB (version 3.1.0) and right after the download completes it gives me the error that the download was unsuccessful.
What is this? Unsuccessful download? How can it be unsuccessful? I just saw the download complete!! This is more of an installation problem than download problem.
Why does it affect only some of the apps and not all of them?
I thought this had only to do with game apps, and/or apps with large install sizes. But I have installed Benji Bananas (version 1.9) which is 16.88 MB and some other heavy apps without a problem.
Does it have to do with where the app defaults to install? Default install location? Apps that install to SD (support Froyo App2SD) by default? Maybe this is somehow messed up with the App2SD+ and Data2SD that's integrated in this ROM?

Read this:https://supernova.droidzone.in/category/faq/ at 28.
Thanks Tonal! I actually visited that same FAQ page earlier today but I gave up after reading through half of the page. I didn't think that this issue was covered by the FAQ. I didn't expect to find it at the bottom of the page as the last Q & A. I feel like they should move this up to the top, maybe even make it the question number one, as I'm sure others have faced this issue before and it's probably a frequent issue.
Here is a copy of that Q & A for future visitors.
28 Question: I am unable to install large apps (typically >25 MB or thereabouts) on my phone
This is a limitation of Market cache. To solve this, you have to tweak your software a bit.
Beginners: You need to first install an app called Scriptmanager from the Market. Once done, download a script named cacheboost.sh from here. Run Script Manager, and select this downloaded script. Execute is as root (the icon with Skull and Bones must be activated). This script must be run after a reboot, and before you want to install a large app. The changed made by the script are lost after each reboot, though the app you installed remains installed. If you find yourself running this frequently, you may add the path to this script in an init.d script to execute it at every boot.
Advanced Users: Download cacheboost.sh script
Open a terminal emulator or adb shell interface
Code:
cd /path/to/script
chmod 755 cacheboost.sh
./cacheboost.sh
If you wish to load the script at every boot, add a line in /system/etc/init.d/01data

So this has to do with the cache of the Android Market app not being big enough. Go figure!
All of this is redundant however. Because I have solved it by simply manually installing the latest Play Store app (replacement of Android Market). It refused to install over ADB, so I had to copy the APK file to the SD and then open it with a file explorer.
Here's a short how-to.
Download the APK file for Play Store.
Connect the phone to the computer. If prompted, choose to mount as disk drive.
Copy the APK file to the SD card.
Disconnect the phone.
Go to menu, settings, applications, and enable unknown sources.
Start a file manager app (I used ES File Explorer, but ASTRO is good too).
Browse to the file (/mnt/sdcard/) and tap it to open. You'll be prompted if you want to replace a system app. Tap OK to continue.
I have included screenshots and the APK for the Play Store since I had it readily available anyway. But you can also check out this post at DroidLife and follow the download link there. It looks like they link to version 4.0.25. Mine is 4.0.27 which is even better.

I don't understand why you flashed PA 4.0 beta, when you want 4.4? Also, the gapps file you used should only work with 4.4. I have no clue how it would have worked for PA 4.0?
And for future purposes, if it makes it any easier, try TWRP instead of CWM - it's a lot more user friendly. In terms of the insufficient storage, I'm having a feeling that you either haven't wiped your SD card before flashing, or something has gone wrong and the system is not detecting the SD card...

[Q] installing rom/gapps

so I was trying to install a rom (broken) on my gnex...I have twrp...the rom installed but gapps keep failing...I get an error message saying the device requires 37xxx of space and I have 35xxx of space...I deleted my 5 gigs of music and still get the same error...so what am I doing wrong?
I tried a smaller version of gapps and it worked but somewhere in there, I was unable to get google now to work...any ideas?
thanks

PA Gapps FAQ #3 My install of Google Stock (or Full Modular) GApps failed with the message 'Insufficient storage space available in System partition'. What does this mean?
It has nothing to do with your music, that's on a different partition. It needs space in the system partition. If you are using something like F2FS then you have less space in system and will have to use a smaller gapps package. Also its a GNex, so the "older device" portion of the FAQ comes into play as well.
I would use PA Gapps in either Mini or Micro flavors, they have Google Now included. They released an updated package today, I would check to see if they helps. If you are switching Gapps please see #6 in the FAQ as well. I had issues too before I realized I had to wipe System and reflash my ROM when switching to different gapps.

[Q] How to improve my system space, installing GAPPS

Hi.
At first, I don't have a clue if it is a good place in forum to write about this. But let's stat.
I have Paranoid for my Galaxy S Plus i9001. I don't have any of google things on phone. I used official Google items from internet, it stopping work. So i decided to install Gapps again. Again because i've tried it. It is always the same. I mean that i can't install any of GAPPS from XDA, because i haven't got space. In TWRP opinion of course. Here's the photo . I've got SD card with 10GB free space and something about 5GB free in device storage.
How to do it?
Thanks for replies.

Weird, twrp is saying you only have 4kb left... Can you give me a picture of your storage? (in settings ---> storage) Have you ever backup/install a rom with twrp before?
As explained in your error message in the TWRP window, your system partition has only 4kb left, so you won’t be able to flash any app there. In your current partition configuration, you will need to install all google applications from Google Play. This is further explained by TKruzze in question 2 of this FAQ:

[Q] After downloading, OTA update for GT-I9192 tries to download itself again

Hi-
I'm attempting to update my GT-I9192 Duo using the update to KitKat 4.4.2 provided by samsung (at least I think it's provided by Samsung, my phone prompted me to download the update). Anyway, I download the update (526.13 Mb), and the phone asks me if I want to go ahead and install. I say "Install". Instead of installing the update it just spent an hour downloading, it tries to download it again (I think).... The error message says: "Unable to install software update (526.13 MB). Not enough space in device storage or SD card. Delete some items."
In the Storage section of the Device Manager, my device apparently has 8.00 GB of total space broken down into the following:
System Memory - 2.60 GB
Applications - 2.43 GB
Pictures, Videos - 339 MB
Audio (music, ringtones, pod... - 1.02GB
Downloads - 7.24 MB
Miscellaneous Files - 1.11 GB
Available - 514 MB (NOTE: This is AFTER downloading the FOTA update.zip file, which is 526.13 MB)
--------------------------
I also have an SD card with 14.83GB. 9.72GB is taken up by Miscellaneous Files, and 5.11 GB is Available.
While I am not an android developer, I know my way around *nix systems, and have done my fair share of tarball source installs. The way I see it, the error message can be interpreted in a few ways:
1) It's actually trying to download the FOTA update.zip file again for some reason
2) It needs more than 514 MB of free space on the phone (not the SD card) to unpack the zip file
3) Something is misconfigured
I have not rooted the phone, and save for the samsung bloatware, all the apps on the phone are up to date.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Thanks,
C

SOLVED! The error message seems to be generated because of interpretation #2 (see above), that the update needs more thant 514 MB of free space on the phone. Sorry to clog the forum, but maybe someone else will find this useful
