You should probably report it to Xiaomi. Looks like it's not getting a CameraCapabilities object. If clearing cache & data doesn't help, I don't think there's much you can do. Use a different camera app in the meantime.

I've recently rooted and updated my phone to CM10.1 with JB 4.2.2. Was not quite pleased with the way the gallery changed. First, the videos I've downloaded went grey (only some appeared), the camera images and other camera videos are fine though, can't find my video without tapping one by one, I can't even see the names. also, was wondering if the update doesn't allow my videos to be viewed in the side unless I've turned on my rotation settings (which is quite annoying).
I found solutions like deleting inside .thumbnails folder , used busybox to allow permissions, clearing cache of my .com.android.gallery3d, rebooted my phone a lot, nothing works..
Can you guys help?
Here's what my gallery looks like:

You should take a picture with pro mod and see raw photo if it does have this error

You're right, the problem doesn't appear in the raw, what's wrong ? ;/
Try going back to the stock kernel. I had this issue when I used ElementalX. I went back to stock and it was gone. Flashing the custom kernel again, I get a few good shots, then the lines show up again.
Problem solved by changing the kernel and then wipe Dalvik/caché
I cannot launch original camera app after upgrading to Pie.
And is still not working after clear the camera data and restart device.
So I enabled Camera2API and download GoogleCam, the camera worked, but not as good as stock camera.
How can I fix it?
Thanks

this dnd problem was fixed in version V10.0.2.0, if you dont have it yet, try manual search for OTA.
or hard way (manual flash): http://en.miui.com/thread-5125610-1-1.html

This can be deleted, I just had a message saying I can add photos now and like magic the photos are now showing, very nice of them
I am now experiencing this issue and have been for several days. Seems like since the update to Android 13, but my issue has not gone away. I've made sure the app has access to my photos and videos. Any ideas?
FYI...I refuse to put the FB app on my phone. But, there is a way to access without having to zoom to read things. Maybe this would work. I've uploaded photos on FB from my phone without issue on 13. Just use the MOBILE version of their site.
type in m.facebook.com
so, ive installed pixel experience rom into my poco f3, and most of the times, they are fine. I found this problem whenever i tried to access certain apps ( or website ) that require camera access. for example when i tried opening a form that requires an access for camera in chrome, it wont open and shows the picture i mentioned below.
the weird thing is that i already granted all of the permission that chrome require. and another weird thing is that the problem only occurs in certain website, because i tried opening another web that require camera access and it just works, unlike this current website that i try to access
are there any fix for this ? my guess is that the web or app that require access for camera is using another camera requirement outside of the app/web itself, because when i tried to access the camera, the animation for opening an app occurs
