If the ROM doesn't boot make sure you are using the mentioned recoveries above and do FORMAT DATA!
If you are getting "Android Setup Has Stopped" it is caused by using two sims at once. Just pull one sim out and you will be good to go. Cheers!

Things like VoLTE will never work on a custom rom for a samsung device - proprietary closed sources.
Mobile data wasn't working so I've set the apn manually, since then I have no service and the mobile network settings makes the settings crash alltogether.
Using only 1 sim.
This ROM looks promising, but I do have some questions:
- how is security implemented? Is SELinux enforced?
- is my data encrypted?
- will I be able to find Netflix in the Google Play Store? I couldn't with other custom find l ROMs.
And will dual-SIM be a problem for sure? That's a feature I really need.

First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
1) Toogle to disable hardware button doesnt work.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Initial impressions after couple of hours of usage.

Lots of customization
10/10 so far.
Finally this rom has breath again for zuk z2..
I flashed this ROM and the following may be noted
1. No FCs and No random reboots.
2. Magisk can be used to root and it works.
3. Volte works but one will have to enable it from settings.
4. There is no heating, but I don't play heavy games.
5. Deep sleep works.
6. It is smooth and touch response is good.
7 sound is OK, but if one wants to enjoy music, flash the module viper4android fx from magisk.
8. One ca n increase the microphone sound from kernel aduitor by going to sound.

I flashed the ROM yesterday I will list all the bugs that I encountered during this period and I hope it will be fixed soon :
- sometimes the phone freezes randomly (and sometimes "System UI crashes too") during multiple second can't do anything, and no sound too
-other lag issues
-sometimes cannot modify the sound : I try to change the sound of my Bluetooth earphones but the UI changes it but nothing real until I change it with my earbuds, then the sound will do what I asked it in seconds.
-Sometimes 4g/h+/4g+ doesn't work (there's a cross on the bottom right of the icon, but still show 4g+ for example)
-When I tap on a message notification to go in the app the keyboard won't show until I escape and reenter
-most likely others things that I do not remember
Furthermore, I did not try all the function of the phone, so there might be more bugs
Hope to hear from some.
I hesitated from Pixel Extended, crDroid, and Pixel Experience (unofficial) (the only ones released for now), I don't know if I made the right choices, let me know your experience with that !
If needed I can provide any information that you want.

What is this?
PixelExtended ROM (or PEX for short), aims to combine Pixel goodies with some essential features missing in Pixel Experience, delivering a ROM that promises you stabilty and a large amount of features at the same time. The ROM will keep it's Pixel ideologies it's primary focus and wont stray into the dark and deep void that is bloat.
Our mission is to offer maximum possible stability and security along with essential and useful features for proper functioning of a device.

Flashing Guide:
clean flash:
1. On the fastboot mode, use your power keys to scroll to recovery mode and use the power button to select okay.
2. You are in TWRP now,
Go to Wipe>Advanced> and select data, system, cache, and dalvik cache
3. Now press back (till you're at the home screen on twrp) and select Install> Click ROM.zip
[VERY IMPORTANT]
1. Go to Wipe>Format data> Type 'yes'
2. Now press back again and go to wipe again.
3. Go to Wipe>Advanced> select cache and dalvik cache.
4. After wiping, Press reboot.
dirty flash:
1. In TWRP now,
Go to Wipe>Advanced> and select system, cache, and dalvik cache
2. Now press back (till you're at the home screen on twrp) and select Install> Click ROM.zip
3. Reboot to system

It mean update to newest version?
Does it support OTA updates?
I have the RMX1992 with default Android 11. It's working well. I understand that realme will not provide Android 12.
Are there any advantages in PixelExtended and Android 12?
Is this ROM as stable as compared to realme 2.0

im facing failed to mount persist in twrp . my face and fingerprint not working in both pixel ex and stock
rom please help needed asap
