Running good on the Chinese version with the exception of a couple reboots.
On a side note, is there a tap to wake feature in this ROM?
I can't find it anywhere.

wipped everything. tried to install either versions but I get the "current image (boot/recovery) have been destoyed and can not boot"
using chineese version with TWRP 3.3.1-24 Unofficial by mauronofrio recovery

Spaget X : flash Exynos7870_ProjectSpagetX and waiting
GSI : flash GSI Image via System Image
H-Vendor: flash GSI first and flash H-Vendor after flash GSI complete
Gapps :
⠂FlameGapps : flash normally
⠂OpenGapps : Resize System 2 time, first will fail but again will complete, Mount System and Vendor and flash normal
Magisk : Now you can instal Magisk Stable or Canary version if you want​Upgrating :
GSI : Flash Update LOSQ file via System Image and don't wipe anything

@NindoS, @hacker812c also add credits to Phhusson & Treble team - without their efforts GSI would not have been successful

Installed vendor - spaget x - modified lineageos - FlameGapps basic - chronos and magisk.
Lineage 17.1 normally worked. This version stays in bootanimation with the moving bal. After An hour IT stil didn't complete.
When i Read your flash instruction i didn't read chronos to be installed. Can that be the problem. That i had to leave Chronos out of the installation. Now back to Pixel Experience til the next try.
It's getting an addiction al the flashable systems.

FOLLOW THIS STEPS
Flashing and Updating GSI
Flashing :

Upgrating :

Magisk : flash Magisk Treble again

But does it work without the chronos kernel. With other builds my sim doesnt work when i dont flash it.
But when i use the chronos kernel in this build. It gets in an never ending bootanimation for hours. And i have to revert to other build.

Is your device already rooted and you can use twrp recovery? Or is your device stock stock. Is it FRP unlocked? Witch device do u have? Samsung J7 2017 sm-j730f or other? Is tricky if i dont now where u are in the installation proces. Greetz

Had tot try it again and again. Chronos wasn't the problem. Remembered of another ROM that flamegapps could be the problem. And indeed.
With installing no gapps the system was installed in about 5 tot 10 minuten to complete. And then i was missing the play store. So back to recovery and installed bitgapps. And the problem was solved.
Lightning quick and nice ROM this version.
Happy with it.

but now i will try the updated ROM and try it

OK, so I tested in SM-J730GM and everything is (relative) fine except for the dual SIM card, is not detected.
It's because for the model or the rom?

F.A.Q​
Q: Device requirements ?
A : You MUST be on Oreo Bootloader and Modem, otherwise you will have no sim, no lockscreen etc.
Q : Do I need to format internal storage ?
A : No
Q : Can I use the Treble recovery for normal ROMs ?
A : Yes, it is preferred especially when making backups. just be sure to wipe vendor when switching to Non-Treble ROMs.
Q : What Camera is recommended ?
A : Footej and open camera works the best
Q : Can I flash any GSIs ?
A : Any GSI that is ARM64_AONLY is supported [8/9/10]

I have updated the file now j730x is supported too. Since I don't have j730x I couldn't test it but it should work. Try it and give feedback please.

tested today and i have black screen on pubg mobile and same reboot problem as other vendors . i think reboot problem is for kernel . not optimized for j710f

Can you try with another kernel like Ares kernel, Cronos kernel, Oxygen kernel and give feedback? I don't have any reboot or black screen problems on my J710FQ
Edit: This kernel is not compitable with OneUI ROMs so you have to flash another kernel if you want to use OneUI ROM or use AOSP based ROMs

Tested Ares Kernel but still have black screen on pubg.

KNOWN BUGS
Remember that some bugs could come from GSI side and not from vendor
We haven't tested EVERY 7870 out there, so could be possible that some variants has specific and unknown bugs, or even not booting
Always provide logs and dmesg if you want to report bugs
Common bugs: offlice charging, screen unlock takes a while after a reboot, camera preview streched for some variants or apps. BT calls is a common bug too for some devices. Stock camera flash can be unstable, use footej
A320X: echo in calls
G610X: sometimes, screen delay when coming on, camera flash?
J530X: ?
J600X: NFC could be broken for some variants
J701X: front camera flash
J710X: NFC could be broken for some variants. Audio has a delay for the NM
J730X: ?

Flash over no delete data

The only way i've made it work is to flash H-Vendor + Ares Kernel RC1 + Magisk 20.4 phhusson.
All the other solutions lead to being stuck on LineageOS boot animation.
Maybe i need to format the Vendor partition first?

INSTALLATION​
strongly recommended to use Orangefox recovery by @Astrako
VENDOR needs TREBLE partiton so first you need to flash Create vendor from SPAGET (only if you don't have VENDOR partition)
Download and copy the vendor and any ARM AB GSI OR A64 to your device external SDcard (preferred)
Wipe everything (SYSTEM,VENDOR,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK all together)
Flash your ( ARM AB - A64) GSI in system partition and then vendor.zip
Reboot and enjoy.

Vendor is Arm Ab but no GO, you simple can flash the Gsi which name i gave already fine that, Go gsi's need diffrent vendor so is not possible on this

Anyone tried A11 Gsi gapps or Vanilla? I tried with project treble V2, Everything work fine but can not set lock screen pin code nor pattern so it is unusable. Do you know if that vendor can help?
