my desire is unbranded so i thought that if i installed a normal wwe ruu it will work out
then i read a post that said that it has to be an arab ruu as i have bought it from egypt
so are there any arab ruu available for download even if it is eclair (2.1)

Not sure, but I thought if you had unbranded (I assume unrooted too) you could have a firmware on that was xxx.405.xxx - but sometimes they do localized updates?
