All Xiaomi custom ROMs users complain from a single problem, which is the firmware updates. As there are many devices with no one to provide the newest firmware update every single release, and developers who provide updates to devices may forget or be busy sometimes, so releases are provided later. Here comes my solution:

A set of various scripts that automatically generates Xiaomi firmware flashable zip files every MIUI new update!
My scripts download MIUI official ROMs, both Developer and Stable, Global, Europe, India, and China, extracts the firmware-update folder, generates firmware flashable zip with auto-written "updater-script", and uploads them automatically to many servers.
The scripts are completely automated, running on a Linux server every six hours.
Note:
File name's will be in the following manner:
fw_curtana_miui_CURTANAGlobal_*.zip is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s / 9 Pro (curtana) Global firmware.
fw_curtana_miui_CURTANAEEAGlobal_*.zip is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s / 9 Pro (curtana) EEA Global firmware.
fw_curtana_miui_CURTANAINGlobal_*.zip is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s / 9 Pro (curtana) India firmware.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Firmware? Is it a full ROM or OTA package?
Firmware is not a ROM nor OTA Package, it's a set of low-level drivers that helps the operating system do whatever it wants to do. It includes various things like Modem, Bluetooth, Bootloader, DSP and etc.
Why should I update the Firmware?
Firmware is provided from Xiaomi directly, and there are no sources for it to let developers build and edit it on their own like custom ROMs, so if you want to keep your device up to date always update your firmware!
Do I need updating the Firmware If I'm MIUI official or custom ROM user?
No, MIUI ROMs contain the firmware-update package which I extract and provide here.
What are the supported devices?
All Snapdragon and MTK devices including China-only devices.
Check the full devices list here
How to update the firmware?
1- Download the package you want to flash. IT MUST BE NAMED WITH THE SAME CODENAME OF YOUR DEVICE.
2- Flash it using TWRP or any custom recovery. There's no need to wipe/format anything before or after the installation.
How to check the updated firmware?
Usually, the modem gets updated with newer firmware, you can check it in Settings > About > Baseband.

Reading the OP carefully is already a good solution. If you bought your phone 3 days ago I assume that your bootloader is still locked. So, how could you flash recovery LRTWRP?
I didn't flash any.

I've seen on Indian reviews that Note 9 Pro has dual band GPS enabled, whereas my 9S running global version doesn't. What happens if I flash indian firmware to Xiaomi.eu global rom? If it doesn't work I could always flash Global firmware again, right?

Could someone send to xiaomi to repair gps, galileo, dual gps?
The more it sends, the faster xiaomi will fix.

Hello, Thanks for your effort !!!
So that I can use your provide firmware take out the boot.img and MAGISK root?.......
I understand it needs adb command, match correctly firmware version to my device, send your boot.img to Redmi device and so on so forth....
Just want to see if this is the basic theory I can use in this thread.
Thank you very much.

Mi Note 2 - Global Rom Release
Okay so MIUI have finally released the global version of MIUI for Mi Note 2.
Remember this ROM works on all versions of the Mi Note 2, not just the Global Edition but also the CN edition with limited bands just don't go thinking it will unlock those extra bands.
For the many of us on xiaomi.eu or mi-globe there are limited gains perhaps but let's not forget what options we have now.
Full Official Multi-Language Rom can be used with locked bootloader. This means there is no root but:
We can pass Android SafetyNet - Android Pay Compatibility, Various Banking Apps
Multi-Language Rom that supports OTA updates
Pre-Installed Google Apps
Much less Chinese Bloatware
Probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
Now for the download links:
These are direct from Xiaomi so note their speed isn't always the best but I'd rather give you you direct from them so you know there's no tampering.

NB. Latest Dev version (Global Beta version 7.3.2 has been suspended for Mi Note 2 this week so this is the most recent.) You will be notified by Updater when a new release is available.
Recovery versions (i.e zip) can be flashed via TWRP (though won't be able to flash OTA updates this way) or for full MIUI guide see here
One final note, don't go discussing the global dev rom on the MIUI forums until they make it available themselves. No good will come of it.
And on the somewhat optimistic side usually Xiaomi release source code 3-4 months after global rom release. Once that source code is released hopefully we can see some real dev action for custom roms.
Thank you my firend.
I tried there is no problem.
I've purchased the Mi Note 2 from Banggood today, keen to use the Global Rom, as I'm sure it'll be better than what I get!
Is there a link somewhere to show how to install @StoneTrapper?

There's probably a more complete guide on the MIUI forums.
The short of it is you need to apply to unlock the bootloader of your device (it may already come unlocked - I don't know if Banggood install custom vendor ROMs).
After that personally I'd install TWRP since I'd want it rooted anyway.
Once you've done that you flash the zip with TWRP (there are now newer versions than listed here - check MIUI forums)
Flash Magisk or SuperSU or something if you want root and that's it.

Thanks. Do I need to unlock Bootloader and root? I see it does say you can install without unlocking the bootloader. I'm not bothered about root.

You don't need to root but it's a bit of a gamble with the bootloader.
It's possible to do it with it locked but if anything goes wrong then you're in an awkward position. You can use the built-in recovery and rename to update.zip method.
Mi Note 2
I got the Global Mi Note 2 from china, I am so glad it came with a locked bootloader and the Global ROM pre-installed. Unfortunately, you just *CANNOT* install the official ROM w/o unlocking the bootloader, just an FYI. Once you flash the official ROM, it will relock the bootloader. But I need security on my device so I need the bootloader to be locked but luckily it came pre-installed with the Global ROM so I am pleased needless to say..

If you're not getting OTA updates it's most likely you have a vendor ROM rather than official. Download and flash an official update (there are plenty of guides on the MIUI forums if you're unsure how), after that you'll be good to get OTA updates.
8.2.6.0 is the latest stable I believe - It's available as a fastboot rom but for whatever reason not a flashable zip. Alternatively you can update to Miui 8.2.5.0 with a recovery update. That way you can confirm OTA updates and not have to lose any saved apps. Both links are for global version.

Do you have the Global Version of the phone, 8.2.6.0 is only available for the Chinese version of the phone and not the Global. I don't think that is a vendor rom, the phone came in a factory sealed box and I have the update app/option on it. Some people were advising to change the region to India or something else from USA and the new versions will come, bit I haven't tried yet.
hi there,
i have the global miui global 8.0.9.0.0 version
why it doesn't get any ota updates? my both imei's are altered for some reasons,

Both the download links are for the global stable rom.
8.2.6.0 is the latest stable release for both Chinese and Global rom. Both roms work (with the correct band support) on all editions of the phone.
The Chinese rom has CN in the code name, i.e. MADCNDL, whereas the global has MI i.e MADMIDL, in the same place. If you check About in Settings you'll see the code next to the Miui version info. You'll see the same codes in the download links.
The vendor roms will still usually include the update app and often resellers will re-seal boxes. Not to say you definitely have one but that doesn't preclude it.
Changing region might help, otherwise the links are above.
I don't see any download link for Mi Note 2 8.2.6.0..I did an OTA update to 8.2.5.0 ..not willing to flash any rom unless it is an OTA or gets through system update right now..
I did luck out with the vendor though, i asked a bunch of questions before I ordered it.currently the only way to verify if you have a global version of the phone is by the lettering on the box..unfortunately..

For whatever reason 8.2.6.0 is only shipping as a fastboot rom at the moment. No idea why but I doubt there's any major features you're missing out on.
Direct link
Courtesy of this page.
It's a horrible way to update though, fine for a clean install.
The naming convention is a mess with the overlap of global rom and global edition being easily confused, notably on the vendors part around launch but it does seem they've sorted themselves out now.
The box being the only distinction really doesn't help matters.
FROM THE MODERATOR ~~~ oka1
There have been some people that have claimed this ROM has the possibility of causing burn-in on the LCD due to the brightness adjustment feature not working correctly. As always, please take caution when flashing anything that is custom. YOU ... are the keeper and controller of your phone, you flash at your own risk.
Thx -peace

MiuiCamera
I have created a flashable ZIP based on @NeoArian Mi 6 ZIP to get MiuiCamera on LineageOS 16.0 for Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 with the new android 9.0 blobs.
The file is attached to this post. Note that it will overwrite the default Snap Camera app so that you don't have two apps. Because of the included addon.d script the Snap Camera will automatically gets overwritten and MiuiCamera will gets installed over upcoming OTA's. If you want to get rid of this Module just remove /system/addon.d/69-MiuiCamera.sh and reflash the build of you choice, MiuiCamera will get removed and Snap will be added back.
Frequently asked Questions
Which firmware should i use?
Since the 4th of August 2019 You need the firmware of any 9.0 miui. Download the Global Stable firmware here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117930761

Which recovery should i use?
You should use this TWRP: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117891791 because the official one is not up to date with this ROM and can't decrypt your data. Don't use a recovery for System as Root because this official LineageOS does not use System as Root.

OP clearly says "ROM Firmware Required: MIUI 9.1.24".
Don't even think about pairing a Pie FW with this. Flashing a FW doesn't take you a minute.

It seems that there was a problem with today's and yesterday's builds. It will be fixed soon. More info at https://builds.lineageos.org/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/bykqrx/160_lineageos_builder_fail_20190609_security_bump
Yes there seems to be an issue with signing and the guy responsible for it (zifnab) is currently away for a few days :/
We can only hope it fixes itself or wait until saturday

I've just gathered some local feedback, and it seems that the 9.1.24 FW requirement Mike posted is simply incorrect - keep using Stable V10.0.2.0 (as all other Pie ROMs that are based on Oreo FW do), else you'd get that TZ mismatch error.
Given that I've been building unofficial LOS from Wight's trees for quite some time, which Wight also pushed to official, and we've been using V10.0.2.0 all along until Pie FW dropped, I believe this is reasonable. Plus, we've never seen another ROM require 9.1.24 either.
Same here: assert failed: xiaomi.verify_trustzone("TZ.BF.4.0.6-00124","TZ.BF.4.0.6-00130") == "1"
TWRP: twrp-3.3.1-chiron-20190608.img
Firmware: tried with 9.1.4_8.0 (and also by mistake with 9.5.8_9.0)
But thanks anyway- I'm sure everything will work in some days!

Hello guys, for those who have problems with the flash of the rom, I can say that if you'll use the firmware from andyyan repo (fw_chiron_miui_MIMIX2Global_V10.0.2.0.ODEMIFH) you won't have problems with the installation.

Can take a screenshot of aida64 to see board name
Mi 11x variant sold in India shows name as 'aliothin'. I think its the same device name, just a suffixed "in" at the end shows that its the Indian variant. I'm pretty confident the Xiaomi.EU ROMs would work in Mi 11x without any trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Be aware that has a different modem. That is why it has a different name.
Mi 11X is flashable with unlocked bootloader, it's still Alioth (perhaps with different modem which can also be said about Redmi K40 and Poco F3):

Just unlock the bootloader first using the mi unlock tool from your laptop/pc.
Once done, download the latest stable xiaomi.eu rom from their website (do note it is a fastboot rom so you won't need a recovery at this point).
Follow or google the instructions to flash the fastboot rom and within mins you should boot into the new xiaomi.eu rom.

Yes weekly roms are perfectly fine. Since I find it hard to make time for constat updates, I chose the stable. Otherwise I always used to try weekly roms.
And no, since the fastboot rom worked just fine I don't think you'll have to change the name in the rom file. You can directly proceed.

Thank you one last thing is the phone eligible for updates in future or do i have to manually update it ?
Using Xiaomi.eu ROM 12.5, It's been more than a week and so far the experience is good. Switched from global ROM so for me a lot of new things are present in it.

Can You explain the process as to how you did it. I have Mi 11X India variant lying idle in box only bcoz I want to install Miui Eu ROM for Miui Dialer and messaging app. Will be thankful to you if you can explain process in detail step by step.
Another query I had regarding the Miui 12.5 stable fastboot ROM. Say I am successful in installing it. AFAIK I wont get automatically any updates for the fastboot EU ROM. And when next update comes I need to manually flash it again. My query is that to install next update, do I have to again unlock bootloader and again repeat the same process? Wouldn't it format my data on phone?? How do I make sure that when I install a new update via fastboot, my data stays as it is. Or should I wait for recovery ROM??

I see your multiple posts here and there.
I understand your reserve. The best is to read all the installation stuff at EU site. It will make things clear for you.
No risk.
Did anyone try the recent EU weekly ROM? this is the first ROM that includes TWRP recovery, If tried, how is the TWRP experience is it asking password every time when you log in to TWRP?
Hello. I want to find a proper image to flash.
For example: miui_BEGONIAEEAGlobal_V10.4.5.0.PGGEUXM_0453419db7_9.0.zip
In this case it's xiaomi redmi note 8 pro global rom with MiUi version 10.4.5.0 and Android 9.0.
But when I don't have speaking name or description, how do I find out, which version of Android and MiUi is in the image file?
V10.4.5.0.PGGEUXM is not a global version but EEA(for Europe),global version PGGMIXM.

I thought Global means Global version, no idea what Global means here. Okay, MiUi and Android version was right. But given this example, the name Global might be misleading or in case, there is no name (e. g. I download an image xyz.zip), how can I lookup the information or extract and look inside the image file what is really inside?
The roms in zip are recovery roms and are used to update or for troubleshooting and contain only the minimum strics to make the phone work.
Fastboot roms are full roms and contain all imgs.
Hence the size difference.
Example:
Fastboot V12.5.15.0.RGGEUXM 4.4GB(TGZ)
Recovery V12.5.15.0.RGGEUXM 2.4GB(ZIP)
No information to recover directly from these roms unless you decompile it, which requires time and knowledge.
You have the Miui and Android version information with full rom name.
v12 means MIUI 12 and Android 11
V13 means MIUI 13 and Android 12
etc..
R=Red Velvet Cake/GG=Device code/EU=EEA(Europe/XM=Unlocked(carrier).
