Android Nougat 7.0 update

So it seems the update might be released pretty soon according to samsung turkey.

Maybe this month we will get it.

Check the roms board, its not official, but scerw samsung i aint wainting. am already using it and its super smooth.

Samsung is always the slowest for some reason.

Yeah, plugged in my s6 edge+ to pc and samsung switch offered me the software update (NEE)

Nope. Dauumn... kinda wierd it shows different build numbers on the updater app versus software info menu

Rooting works fine for the leaked N build for the 928C (which also works on other variants). That build also doesnt have the deep sleep bug like the MM builds do when Knox is tripped.

What's next? SP or Oreo?

Are there any release notes for may security patch?
I hope we will receive oreo next..

Personally I think Oreo will come perhaps 1-2 months after the G6 launch.
I still see Motorola using the Android 7 v 8 comparison between the phones as a marketing ploy.

they have sent emails comparing the G5S having 7.1 vs the new G6 with android 8.0.. and then there are the fanboys of motorola saying it was never delayed..

Motorola could step up and give us the android P beta, then release the official in august-september, it counts as only one update just dreaming

The Galaxy Nexus got an 8.1 port so I doubt they would give up on the g5 phones

Oreo != Treble. We won't get treble.
Lenovo screwed us over, stock-ish Android but no major updates or improvements other than security patches. I will never buy another one of their phones again that's for sure. Next device will probably be a Android One device like the Nokia 7 Plus.

I'm only 10 so I can't buy a new phone, but I rooted my phone, Installed an Android 10 ROM on an LG G3 with Android 5, Dual-booted my Windows with Ubuntu on my PC and laptop, Installed checkra1n jailbreak on my old iPhone, and almost succeeded installing macOS on my laptop by using Hackintosh. So please port the S21's OneUI 6.0 to the S20 when OneUI 6.0 will be released.

I have s20+ and S20 ultra, i want OneUI 6.0 too but this is not possible for both of us.

It is if someone ports the S21's firmware to an S20's ROM.

Starting with Galaxy S1, i flashed many Roms, I did not see any benefit. There will be no difference between OneIU 5 or 6 or 4.

Im sorry, youre 10 and you have an S20 ultra? At 10 i had an 80 euro phone and i wasnt complaining about features. They probably will release a port , so just be patient until one ui 6 even comes out and then wait a little more for someone to port it. It doesnt take a snap to port a rom. I waited 5 months for one ui 5 on my alt S10e. btw you sound similar to 10 yr old me , i was doing the same things to my moms old laptop haha

If nobody ports it, make sure to do it yourself because I also have an S20 Plus. If it doesn't work, maybe someone can build an AOSP-based ROM for S20+. The sources and builds are available publicly. Any developer with the device should be able to do so. One UI has become boring
