Although we have made every effort to ensure this unit will be compatible with the listed vehicles, please check the year, dimensions and shape of the center console of your vehicles before purchasing.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Please check your car's center console and see whether there is an air-conditioning cover, if there is, you can remove it to the container and then install XTRONS PB7646BP in your car perfectly.
2. If your car's original radio is 4.3" or 7" screen with 12 pins plug, or you have the navigation drive located in the rear of your car, you need to order an extra 6m extension cable to aid for the installation. (Both XTRONS EXL005 & EXL007 are compatible).
3. Please note that if your radio harness is 17 pins and the 4 pins indicated are empty, this unit can NOT fit with your car.
4. If you want to install this unit in your Rover 75 (1999-2005), MG ZT (2001-2005) vehicles, you need to cut the trimming of PB7646BP in both sides and order an extra ISO wiring harness from us. (XTRONS AK/PF7546BAP/ISOCBL02 is compatible, need it, please order it from XTRONS website).
Caution: Please make sure that all the functions operate properly before trimming.
5. Please check whether your car's radio antenna port is in the car's trunk, if it is, you need to order a radio antenna extension cable and an antenna adapter to finish the installation. (XTRONS ANT001 and ICE/ACS/13-116 are compatible).
6. If there is DSP (Digital Sound Processing) button in your factory radio, or your car has digital sound system such as "Harman Kardon" or "Bose", you will need to modify speaker wires, This unit will work with car speakers directly, and your DSP or digital sound system will NOT work.

Hi ya, what is it that you're helping with? MCU and Android is in almost all scenarios identical between MTCD, so help me understand the value - did you have later android or mcu versions to share? I'd suggest posting the mtcd mcu and android version, it doesn't seem like there's much thought or understanding of the unit you have.

Sorry I hadn't finished the post!
I have no problems updating the firmware but I tried an MCU update which I believe should have been any GS file but it came up with a UNMATCH ERROR message.
I am finding it hard to rectify this problem and was hoping by starting a post for this unit ONLY it would help others.

MCUs on MTCD units are cross compatible, check out @marchnz's thread on the matter in this forum.
Starting a post for this unit only will not help others, it will simply cause confusion and clutter the forum with necessary threads because ALL MTCD GS units are the same inside, they just have different fronts and more to the point as has already been pointed out, the similarities between all MTCD units is such that separate threads for each manufacturers version are not needed.
Also, there is no such thing as an "Xtrons PB7646BP" thats just a made up model name - Xtrons are sellers only, you have a GS unit. Xtrons sell units from lots of manufacturers and may well have sent you an MCU from another manufacturer.
So confusing!

No moderator has any knowledge of these units so they wont do anything.

I have an XTRONS TE706PL MTCE_GS V2.88_3, and I'm wondering if it's possible to display ANYTHING through the video output, and how?
I've ran the video rca to the aux on my rear DVD, but I can't get any output.
I almost purchased this model but after a lot of reading reviews it became clear that it does NOT have Full RCA out, it can only output to the RCA outs from Aux-in so if you have an external TV box going into the head unit via Aux-in this it will output to RCA outs, which is a backward step for Xtrons, their tec department confirmed this to me in an email.

The only MTCD/E units that do proper video out are the RK3188/PX3 Nougat units, these have HDMI out, however, as Xtrons are a seller only (they buy from a variety of different manufacturers, slap their badge on them and sell as "Xtrons" units) they have no control over video out (or anything else other than pricing and what made up model number to give each unit), only ShenZhen GESHI Electronics And Technology CO LTD, the manufacturers of the "GS" MTCD/E unit Xtrons sell, have any control over this.

I have the xtrons PB76FFFP which is a PX5 MTCE_GS_V2.78_3 unit, and it has Full RCA, and duel zone, everything on the head unit is displayed on my headrests, so it would seem that it is not just the PX3 that has full RCA out.

Lots of people have problems with video out, glad to hear dual zone works on yours.
But I did not say that the PX3 had RCA out - lots of units have RK3188/PX3 pocessors, including non MTC units - I said that MTCD/E Nougat RK3188/PX3 units have HDMI out, whereas MTCB/C JB/KK/Lollipop RK3188/PX3 units, MTCD/E RK3188/PX3 Lollipop units and RK3368/PX5 MM/Oreo units have RCA out.
BTW, you just have a GS MTCE RK3368/PX5 unit - "PB76FFFP" is a number made up by Xtrons.
Hi!!
My Dasaita Vendor sent me a PX6 Max10 card to replace my PX5 Max6 card for free. Only the system card, not the screen that itś the original of my PX6 Max6. We change it without problems but when we power on the Dasaita, the screen started to show image like following videos, captured from my Dasaita:
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 1
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 2
FAULTY SCREEN VIDEO 3
Finally I give up. I try all, update firmware, update MCD with EXT (I proof all the values, 1 to 20), the display change resolution but the image is still faulty. I proof with 3 flex cables, the two of the cards and other that I bought, more long. The same faulty with the first two, with the long cable the images transforms into 3 or 4 lines, nothing more. With two cards the same problem.
Can somebody helps me with any idea???

It seems like the PX 6 module is in poor contact with the MB, or the GPU is faulty

The problem is the same with both modules. The px6 Max10 and the px6 Max6. It's imposible that both modules have the same gpu problem. And when I connect both with HDMI with an external PC display all work PERFECT.
You need to be careful in your selection of PX6 max10 cards. There was a resolution change in the middle of the PX6 max10 production and the newer ones run at 720p instead other the older resolution of the px5 and first generation px6
That may be your issue.

No. The resolution is not the problem. I fixed it with an EXT update and nothing. I probe many resolutions and nothing, same problems with max 6 and Max 10 card.
Hi everyone, I basically have an ongoing project at the moment where I'd like to have a headunit in the open top kit car me and a friend are building. Everything is full on stripped down back to basics, no ABS, no powersteering but we're keen to have a bit of fimiliarities with the headunit. I'm struggling a little bit on exactly what to get, I don't know if an off the shelf solution exists or if I'd have to go down something like the rasperry pi route but effectively here's what I'm after from the unit. Don't mind the idea of a tablet of sorts as well, but it would need multiple USB slots (see below).
Android OS is probably best for what we're after however open to suggestions/other ideas
Multiple USB slots 3 minimum - 1 for ODB/ Diagnostic connection, 1 for Apple CarPlay and the other for DAB radio if required
Resistive touch screen - there's no roof on the kit car we'll do our best to weatherproof it but we'd like for the screen to be not effected by droplets of water if it does start raining
Something that's not incredible slow
The monitor and the OS can be two separate devices if required e.g Resistive monitor and then trailing a HDMI/USB to the computer which would be in a dry wiring tray.
Has anyone done this? Seen anything that'd suit? We're really open to suggestions and looking to find a solution asap.
Perhaps post in the Android head units forum, this thread is for specific "MTCD" units.
Most units I have seen are Capacitive screens not resistive, but rain does not affect either really when you dry them off.
If you are looking for reliable Apple CarPlay then Android head units are not the best bet.
I know that the Dasaita PX6 head units have a HDMI out which you can connect another touch screen to for dual touchscreens.
I have the Dasiata in a topless jeep which has had some (light) rain on it in the past with no ill effects.
