Hi! I installed this via twrp and now I have bluetooth issues. I have redmi airdots and if I listen something and having wifi on/connected, it drops the connection in every 20-30 seconds... Using custom rom (crdroid 6.5) there is no issue withbt/wifi. There is no issue if I have bt earphones connected and using 4g. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Requirements:
Flashtool 0.9.16 by @Androxyde
XZDualRecovery 2.7.124 BETA or newer.
Current rooted FW version: 14.3.A.0.757.
Special features:
SuperSU integrated in system, FULL ROOT!
XZDualRecovery 2.7.132 BETA (CWM & PhilZ Touch & TWRP) pre-installed;
init.d support (read how to enable)
For both locked and unlocked bootloaders!
In the following guide I suggest you use an external SDCard but that's just good practice, you can use your internal storage or even an USB OTG storage device in TWRP if you like to install, that's no problem!... If you are modding and the likes, best is to have an external sdcard, just for safeties sake.
How to update to 14.4.A.0.108:
Files (Find them on the download tab!) :
For C6902: Download C6902_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (1022MB) and C6902_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6903: Download C6903_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (947MB) and C6903_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6906: Download C6906_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (970MB) and C6906_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6943: Download C6943_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (1003MB) and C6943_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
Save them somewhere you remember;
Put 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
Put 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder;
Create a backup of your phone in TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard' (the internal storage!);
Flash 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip' in TWRP (if you notice your phone reboot during the update process, update to the latest XZDualRecovery and try again);
NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off;
Flash everything in 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf' using flashtool;
Reboot to system.
The first boot will be slow and after some time at the boot animation you will see Android start optimizing the apps on your phone.
Enjoy! :laugh:
@RHBH has created a deodex package for each of these releases. Check out his thread here.
Need some help?
@shem2409 has made a video guide to aid you in the update process:
Thanks buddy, great work, as always!
Known XZDualRecovery Issues:
Busybox Updater/Installer: If you have XZDualRecovery installed, un-install any Busybox updating app/tool as most if not all of them will install a version of busybox which does not support the lzma compression applets XZDualRecovery depends on. The version installed together with XZDualRecovery is very stable and I have yet to hear anyone complain about it's stability.
How to report errors:
Please, before shouting out "It doesn't work!!1!" or "I lost root!" or even "My phone reboots when remounting /system RW!!" try the following:
Restore any KitKat FTF using any means you are familiar with so you can try again.
Root it using the Easy Root Tool by @zxz0O0 and install XZDualRecovery, or
Install XZDualRecovery using option 3 in the installer menu (installation on unrooted ROM)
Then try to update again using TWRP.
If it still fails something from there on: LOGS!!.
NOTE: The important ones can be found in /cache/recovery and in /sdcard1/XZDualRecovery, pack them up and send them to me or attach them to your bug report.
Thank you

It will probably work when coming from any JB or KitKat version, but I tend to keep it a safe bet on the OP
So where is this firmware based? I mean, the countrry, like FR AE and such? Also, if i already have rooted .108 (4.4.4) on my z1 C6903, can i just flash the zip file in twrp and not the ftf anymore? Also, can i dirty flash it?

You could try to create a backup of your data partition and then do a factory reset from TWRP. This will not mess with your internal storage if you don't want it to.
Then see if it turns on again. Could be something changed in how it gets addressed in the config...

But seeing you have an unlocked bootloader as well... X-Reality should not even work anymore ever since you unlocked it...

woop. I guess I won't update for now!
Is there SdCard read&write issue on this firmware too mate? I meant, do we have to edit permission.xml file again after flashing this? I am currently not able to move apps to sd nor i can use third part backup&restore apps like " GOBACKUP" with 4.4.2 , but with the 532 stock kernel i can do it. Issue is still there on the firmware 14.3.A.0.757 stripped by NUT I need your help man. I used everything on XDA, no hope.

but location works despite that right
Location works instantly, the main problem is that other apps can't see microg services installed, so they complain about it (maps) or don't work at all(strava).

They are sources that I created to build rom. If you want to build it yourself you can use them only for yourself. As for twrp I can't give you link because I didn't developed it. But I use 3.3. U can easily find it.

This isn't rom for t00j. This is Zenfone 5 2018 X00Q,ZE620KL. And no Zenfone 5z twrp can't be used. Look at the thread header man.

Yes it does work with X00QD. I added X00Q to be simpliar with other countries. Didn't tried MicroG. But it should work if it works on GSI or something else.

Ok great.
One last question, i dont know which guides im supposed to follow to unlock my bootloader, one is outdated with dead links, and the other (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/general/ze620kl-android-9-0-complete-guide-t3951350) is for GSI, and I dont understand why there is a Android9EncryptionDisabler.zip to flash..
This ROM for https://m.gsmarena.com/asus_zenfone_5_a501cg_(2015)-7160.php? Unbelievable!
No itsn't. It's for Zenfone 5 2018 edition. Is your device codename X00Q. No. Before asking question read above
Can I flash EncryptionDisabler without losing my data?

Instructions:
Take a backup first from your actual system!
1 Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
2 If you are encrypted but running an AOSP ROM then you're fine. If you come from Sense, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
3 If you are coming from any other ROM wiping /system & /data is strongly recommended
4 Download the latest build ( links are below).
5 Reboot to TWRP.

No you cannot. Never a good idea to dirty flash over major revisions.

Not problem for me, but i think all htc 10 users used my source for base.
Good to see Aicp is back.
What's the advantage of this over lineage?
Tested today this ROM.
For now looks like everything is working.
Stable and quick system.
Needs to check battery drain still but looks not bad.
Flashed with twrp-3.4.0-0-pme

Great ROM, are you planning on porting android 11of this ROM. Lineage 18.0 seem to be the only android 11 for this device
I know you can help me on this, I want to downgrade to nougat from Oreo 3.16.401.2 but I have already replaced my battery. I read that if you replaced the battery you can't downgrade. Any idea should I go on?

replacing battery has nothing to do with downgrading,
you just need to be S-OFF,
If S-OFF Its quite easy

Nice looking theme. I noticed after installing the OS that SELinux is Permissive. Is there a vanilla version of Cherish with SELinux Enforcing?
I cant download it, it is not in sourceforge, could you use a mega, dropbox or Gdrive link?

Oops. You're right. I don't know what the developer did there. The exact name of the image file I tested on a Z1 was Cherish-OS-v2.8-20210804-1342-honami-OFFICIAL-Vanilla.zip . I tried searching for the exact name in Google and Sourceforge but it isn't giving any results. You'll have to ask the developer I suppose.
