MHL to HDMI.
I have the Menotek MHL adapter.(No complaints)
They all support audio

Mhl-Hdmi Video not working , Audio does. I have a Samsung Mhl-Hdmi adapter that works fine on my sensation . On the Galaxy s II I am getting only audio through the cable to my tv , No video at all , no screen mirror.
Anyone else try this on their new SGS2?

Had to reboot Phone but now is working fine , it is a little choppy though like it is loosing frames.

Which one u bought n where did u get it from...im trying to get one too.

How do you get it to work? When I plug it in from phone to tv, it doesn't do anything or show anything? Is there some app or option I need to turn on?

Is your TV 1080P? Cos i think our phones might only support 1080P...but i could be wrong.

Plug your phone charger into the side of the MHL adapter...... Right where the micro USB port is......

I got a nenotek for $18 AT AMAZON....and ebay had it at $56

Problem solved.
Try an official samsung one or a brand name one.

Won't work either way.
That and most cable will work with Galaxy S2 but it won't work with Epic 4G Touch Galaxy S2. Although they are close they are not the same phone.

USB OTG is disabled on the Sprint version of the SGSII. MHL is only to split the USB data from the HDMI stream.

Do you guys know when it'll be enabled? I asked in a development thread for ICS to see if it could be added in the new kernel they are developing for it and got flamed by Jerdog.
I would love to have this as I use it a lot on my Xoom.

It is a really nice feature I use on the zoom as well. It would be nice to get it enabled.

yeah, first connect the a/c cable then the phone and after the hdmi in the mhl. if it doesn't work try another combo, i haven't used it in a while

I couldn't get this working either for those that it is working on - which adapter are you using?

Media Link with PC

Anyone tried plugging in their Media Link to their laptop/PC?
If not, do you think it would work?
Could be pretty cool if there was a means of using the USB host functionality alongside Media Link to control your phone from your PC.

I to am interested to see if this works, I don't see why it would not as it just plugs into a hdmi scocket.

Does the Nexus 5 support MHL? The G2 support 'slimport' but not MHL from what I understand.

No, Slimport and MHL are two different standards.

I'll plug in my mhl in a minute and see what happens.

Not sure but i think the n4 running cm 10 worked with allshare, it might do the same on the n5 running cm11

Nope, sorry, simply not compatible.
The pin-out mapping and the data transferred over the pins are different and the adapters are not "clever" enough to switch them.
