i've tried a number of roms in the past few days.. one didnt have camera support, another didnt have google voice search.. spent hours on customizing, resetting, flashing, re-flashing, re-re-flashing...
does anyone have a first-hand experience with a rom that supports ALL device hardware (intl Note II - GT-N7100).
thanks.
This Rom is good and all work perfectly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1925402
i was hoping for 4.2.2..
sorry i didnt mention that.
Could you be more specific? Everything works fine on my device.. Camera support - you mean the touchwiz camera? You can't get that on aosp roms. Otherwise they should come with stock camera. Have you flashed the gapps package to get the google voice and other google apps?
switched roms...
i loved the previous one (slimroms.net) but after spending hours on it, i couldn't get the camera to work.
the current one i use (AOKP) works great, other then voice search in Google now.
i've installed the additional package that its supposedly requires but still no go. i can live without voice search (unlike camera) until KLP comes out.. now i just have to figure out why the ability to install APK's went away... it used to work on this rom but something happened. the "install" option is there but its unresponsive.

Do some reading. I don't think you really know what you're doing.
Omega stock based rom will tide you over until you know what you're flashing.
wrong attitude...
so, just because i dont spend my days and nights installing new roms, it means i dont know what i'm doing..?
i dont claim to be an expert, but it seems that battling with hardware issues is something that even long time power users are sometimes having problems with... at least i spent some time researching and experimenting with my device before coming here asking for help.
talking down to people will not make you popular dude.

So why don`t you use stock rom with root? Or try Android Revolution HD, it is close to stock and fast as a bullet with great batterylife and all features are functional.
Depends dude. You got 2 ways to go at it, it's either cyanogen Rom s or stock based Rom. As far as I know the latest cm10.1 all have issues with the camera. So stick with stock based rooms, I would suggest using Alliance Rom 2.0 as I've been using there roms and haven't had any issues. The way I see it there are no bugs, only room for improvements.

So far on aokp and cm the Sirius app opens in landscape and then crashes. Works fine on stock roms. I'm thinking others are having this problem, anyone find a fix for this or can recommend an aosp rom it works properly on?
I use the app a lot and it's one of the main issues keeping me from going aosp right now.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I have the same problem
Hi,
I've a few 4G's running Cyanogenmod 10.1-RC4.
Generally great, but ...
Bluetooth is unstable, and refuses to pair with many devices. That's old news -- LOTS of others on 4.2.x-based ROMs are reporting similar problems.
NONE of the fixes/workaround I've managed to find/try have helped. And, AFAICT, Google's "not talking".
My alternatives atm seem to be:
(1) stay on current 4.2 ROM and live without Bluetooth
(2) wait for 4.3, 5.0, or 'whenever' it gets magically fixed
(3) drop back to another version (<= 4.1 ? other) where bluetooth is known to work and be stable.
(1) isn't an option. (2) is plain foolish. (3) seems like a (possible) plan.
QUESTION: What's a recommended choice? I don't need flashy, I need functional -- rooted and without vendor bloatware.
Is CM 10.0 my "best" choice?
BT is imho the only pain point of 10.1/rc5. I too have read that none of the fixes work that corrected it on earlier versions.
Does anyone have a solution to the BT problems that is up to date with 10.1/rc5?
Good questions about cm op. Subscribing.
I'm considering cm for my epic due stock rom being a pos pita, but need bt. Same requirements, functional, not flashy, slim, fast and good battery. Please be sure to update and post here. I'm interested in what route you take.

For getting bluetooth & wifi both working at the same time, CM 9.1 RELEASE is the only viable option in the CM product line. On any of my phones, anyway. Neither 10.0 or 10.1 work.
I switched after finding this bug
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-878#comment-12632
which got no traction at all. Lots of references in there that make you wonder what Google, at least, is thinking.
Between all that, and the thin responses here, v9.1 will be good enoough until I eventually updgrade to other phones/ROMs.
Bluetooth temporary fix
Bluetooth issues are for almost all cm10.1 roms. The only solution is to force stop Bluetooth from applications and the toggle again. It works for me
Hit THANKS if I helped

Hi!
in march i flashed PAC-ROM on my N1 and it works quite well... but after some time (can't recall when exactly) the motion sensor stopped working. compass is not moving (any app) and the app "Sensor Kinetics" shows a popup "All available sensors on this device are set off". Just flashed newest PAC and still not working. I found some other device-specific threads mentioning there could be problems with custom rom and sensor and some of them have provide fixes. Any one know if or how this could be fixed on N1?
Thanks - Any help much appreciated!
adding more info:
Kernel: 3.4.76-cyanogenmod-g7a996ec [email protected] #1 Sun May 11 03:23:14 EDT 2014
PAC version: 4.4Beta-1.0
AOKP version: n1_kitkat
Build number: CM-userdebug 4.4.2 KVT49L 84 test-keys
Is there any way to check if this is a hardware error (eg g-sensor broke)?
Any one else had this problem?
Again, any help/hint much appreciated!
[EDIT]
Solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2216224
Turn your device OFF - wait 5-10minutes - ? - PROFIT!
Cool App to check your sensors: "Elixir 2" - all up and running!
[EDIT2]
Problem reappears after some time and or reboot. sometimes my n1 does not recognize my sim-card and i also have to reboot... this is a game of luck to get sensor and sim working at the same time - any help/feedback very much appreciated!
same problems here.
hello, i am having the same problems as you do.
i also tried updating and rebooting a few times.
as you said, its a luck game..
i can live with sensor not working, but when it doesnt find my sim card, that defeats the point of having a phone..
im not sure if its the sim reader or the cell antenna thats the problem.
i would very much like a fix for this too.
hi! are you running PAC too? just wondering if this is rom-related (=PAC) or device/custom-rom-related (=any custom rom)? would try omni, but only if i know this fixes it
yes, i am running pac, i did not have these issues when using omni.
Are you guys running xposed?

I don't think ive ever had sensor problems. It works really well for me. I maintain and add features all the time but I do flash quite a bit so maybe I don't run builds long enough to see them...I wouldnt think time would kill them though...

some more info on this
it seems to help to fix permissions in recovery when this happens.
i still get the problem, but its a much higher chance of it working when i fix permissions.
after 2 days normal use, i must say it got better with every nightly i tried (i'm still on PAC) ... with the latest i haven't had this problem :good:

Thanks to the team!
Hi everybody, I'm certain new to the Xda forum and I wanna start with a big thanks for the effort of developers of this ROM.
First of all it's been awhile since i frequently read this forum I wont detail since which roms I've tried , of course must be some 2 years ago L
I've tested cyanideL lately but I came back to TB , seems for me much more well quality well finished code!
Nothing major noticed except I struggle to find a fix for netflix. I was really searching and I found this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56946778&postcount=1698
which really "bingo" in my device. For those who may try just to let them know netflix works very well in my device with the latest Team UB Cm12-261220014.
The only problem that it really bother me now is the "unfortunately, gallery has stoped" Camera seems to work very well. I ve tried clear, cash the app, I've moved all my DCIM picture on a ext card(pc), I even really clean reflesh the ROM. For first part it worked but then after i installed some other apps form titanium backup....I had the same problem. I really assume now that there is one app that my conflict gallery code....but to be honest i had so many to restore it's an enigma to guess which would be !
If someone would had a clue or encountered the same issue would guide me please!
Once more thanks from a sgh-i317m-telus successfully operated with this ROM
re gallery crash
....so no one has this pb ? ...i need apparently a couple of posts to write in diff spots of the forum...
How can I get color icons in taskbar the notification one on the left?
Also what is the star on the right side?
And last one for now how to make a screen shoot?

Hello all, I am new at testing Customized ROMS and let me say that this is a great ROM, When the phone had Omni ROM installed began with this issue, when I am charging my phone while it is off, the battery icon animation gets stuck and I cannot turn my phone on, the phone does charge, I did not have this issue on Kit Kat stock for I317, Can somebody help me? Also, is there any way to make proximity sensor to work while making calls? also, is there any way to disable vibration while pressing capacitive buttons?
Thanks in advance.

I just flashed this UB ROM and had the sensor issue. Flashed the above t0lte_sensor_fix.zip and my sensors now work perfectly.
By the way, this ROM is by far THE best t0lte lollipop ROM I've flashed yet.
Great job to the developer.
So far so good 5 hours on and all set up. Switched from W03 Slimkat. Had one force close after the first flash while phone was resting. "...Email" but noticed nothing nor any issues with my Gmail. Thanks

UB-ROM for TOLTE sound issues
Overall very happy with the UB ROM 20150106, however the sound issue, specifically the one relating to bluetooth streaming has gotten worse.
The typical behaviour now is that when phone syncs with the car and music starts, audio fx and google music crashes.

I had this issue and flashed the shift kernel. However after a while, charging did not play nice with it. I am now using the kernel from DU lollipop ROM. It is very fast and has no issues with charging or bluetooth. Just use 7zip to copy the boot.img from the DU zip to the UB zip and flash as normal. You will get a warning asking you if you want to copy and overwrite, just click yes or OK.. This is a fantastic ROM
note 2 using Team UB rom 5.0.1
hello guys, just flashed this sweet lollipop rom, but i noticed that it has no support for s pen. Any recommendations on what app to use or mod? also, i couldn't get the music to stop being soo choppy over bluetooth while screen was off. any help is appreciated, and thanks DEVS for such great work!!!
That's strange, s pen is working on mine. No customizations or 3rd party apps either. Just stock ROM. As for Bluetooth did you try overstuffedcows suggestion of the DU lollipop kernal?
No music output if screen locked?
There is no music output if screen is locked, when a headphone without a microphone is plugged in. I can't hear the music when screen is locked (although music app is still playing the music silently (muted), but when I turn the screen on, the music plays. It seems like the music itself has been playing in the background, because sound is the thing that's muted not the app itself.
Strangely, music plays well when screen is locked when a headphone with a microphone is plugged in.
Is it sort of a bug? I think many will have this kind of problem..
Help!
Since update 1/19/15, the proximity sensor does not work
Since update 1/19/15, the proximity sensor does not work. Screen does not turn off during call, and I downloaded some apps to test the sensor and it seems that the sensor does not work at all..
My sensors are still working with 1/19. Try flashing the sensor fix I posted up above??
