Is it possible to unlock FRP from fastboot? Bricked Honor 7x. - Honor 7X Questions & Answers

Greetings.
I had issues updating my Honor. Every time I would try the update, after downloading it, it would boot into TWRP with the message failed to unmount /system: device or resource busy.. Then, if I rebooted, the update simply didn't work (I was stuck in an older version of EMUI 8.0, I don't quite recall the precise number). Actually, the same error message would come every time I simply booted into TWRP.
At this point, after a backup, I thought I could just wipe the /system partition and then flash a zip, containing a new ROM, from the TWRP; I wiped the partition and rebooted, and of course the phone started into TWRP, because there wasn't a system anymore. The problem is: TWRP is stuck at splashscreen, and I can't access it anymore.
I tried going into fastboot, but only to find myself with the message Phone Unlocked, FRP Locked, and I was unable to boot another version of the TWRP.
Another thing I did was to boot into the e-Recovery, and from there if I tried restore to factory settings, it would boot again into the stuck TWRP; and if I tried to download latest version and restore, the download would fail because I couldn't retrieve package info.
I then tried a solution I've seen in this forum, namely , with a Windows 10 machine that I used as an hotspot (actually I wasn't able to use the same IP from primary and secondary DNS, only for primary).
I understand that the only thing left to do is to pay some amount of money to some company that would give me the FRP unlock key based on my IMEI, and I actually tried that, with HCU-Client, but after buying 12 credits, they reimbursed them for no appareantly no reasons. Did somebody use this method, perhaps with another company? And did it work?
tl; dr: honor 7x bricked: stuck into fastboot with FRP lock, can't open twrp, don't have system, need help to know if I can actually pay a company to give me the key for the FRP unlock.

[Q] Soft bricked my encrypted phone and I can't factory restore or flash new ROM

While installing the most recent update to my encrypted SG3-L710, the phone restarted and while booting up remained stuck on the blue/white Samsung logo.
-After removing the battery and attempting to get around this several times it appeared that the update had soft-bricked my phone. I was never prompted to put in my passcode to undo the encryption.
-I am able to access CWM Recovery and, being that the only significant thing I would lose are my contacts so I attempted to perform a factory restore which was unsuccessful. It appeared the error indicated it was the /sd_card and /data folders posing the problem.
-I attempted to mount and unmount the /sd_card and /data folders which was unsuccessful, formating them also did not work.
-I downloaded Odin and the PIT file as my last hope. I attempted to flash the stock ROM to the phone and hopefully wipe the old ROM from the system. Odin also encountered problems with the /sd_card and /data and was not able to progress past that point. Now I am attempting it a second time to obtain the specifics and it's stuck on "<ID:0/004> Send lock information...".
Any ideas on how to be able to bypass the encryption and wipe my phone so I can flash a new ROM on this?
I've been working on this problem for almost two days now and I would greatly prefer not having to send my phone into Samsung and spend $100 to do this for me! Thanks ahead of time, bear in mind I'm new to this and might be a bit slow.

I have no clue of what just happened

Hello everybody this morning I've encountered something very strange, I woke up and saw a unusual page on my phone that said "Your phone is encrypted" it told me to put in the passcode that is used on the lock screen to DECRYPT my data when I did so the phone without needing any time to think told me that the decrypt of the data was unsuccessful and that the only way is to factory reset
Now the thing is that I have twrp installed so the phone didn't even reboot to recovery it just rebooted and the same page appeared again telling me to input my passcode
What I've attempted to do is to flash the ruu for my device from sd but the phone doesn't see the file
I've tried to flash a different recovery as twrp was unable to mount any partition except the system partition and the SD partition
I will try to flash cm12 from twrp and see how that goes but until then does anyone have any clue of what happened with my device?
Update: twrp cannot boot the system partition either so now I guess I'm officially bricked
Update 2: Looking at bootloader it sees the ruu on the sd but skips it as it says "No image or wrong image!" under each one except 0PKVIMG.zip
Anyone?
I think you can run RUU only from pc, might be wrong tho as I've run only 1 RUU in my life
Have you tried restoring a backup of your current rom? If you don't have one you can also try one from here (read instruction tho, as you need to same cid as your phone)
Can you use the phone at all? Like go past the pin screen? In settings > security you can disable it (i think its there)
Edit: This has happened before
Hi,
it has recently happened to my mom's phone as well. I can't boot into recovery. It just boots straight to the OS and asks for the encryption key. I've tried to reload the stock recovery image, but it failed with wrong signature message. I've also tried unlocking the bootloader with my htcdev bin file, but it doesn't work anymore. I've tried the RUU that I previously used to go back to stock, but it fails with wrong signature as well. It appears the phone is completely bricked. BTW, The phone was relocked, S-On and with stock recovery.
I'm afraid this is a new ransomware, because before that happened my mom said something about message asking her to make a payment to unlock the phone... Is it possible those dbags were able to swap the certificate?

Bricked?! Help

Hi guys (and gals).
Looking for assistance.
Will try and keep this short and simple, but basically my phone is unable to boot and gets stuck in a loop. This happened after having to hard reboot the phone after my daughter enetered kid mode on the latest ICE Rom.
I initially chose to run a custom rom after various attempts to update my phone to nougat via an ota, which was failing all the time despite another recent carrier update to fix the issue.
Unfortuantely I was hasty in doing so and never took note of my cid/mid information and running the commands via adb or fastboot won't returns anything... I'm a bit stuck.
As it stands:
Softare status: Modified
Unlocked
S-ON
I have access to recovery mode in the form of TWRP 3.1.0-0. Any attempts to install a rom fail at various stages (various roms) and any attempts to wipe and reformat also fail with "Failed to mount 'storage'", "Failed to mount 'cache'", data etc. etc.
If I attempt to boot to download mode I get a message stating 'Failed to boot to download mode'.
I looked to try and reformat using adb and pushing ext4fs but it failed. Equally I tried to work out which RUU I need to try and go back to a factory image but I'm unsure which file or img I need.
Could it be a nand issue? If it helps the phone was from EE in the uk and was running on the most recent software version prior to the nougat update.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Nokia 6.1 stuck on unlock screen

Hello, I haveNokia 6.1 (2018) and I have just got it into a strange state. It happened during custom rom install, or to be more precise during the set-up (probably). I have finished setting up the Omni ROM from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-6-2018/development/rom-omnirom-t3945850) and wanted to install magisk to have root.
After downloading the .zip file, I rebooted into TWRP (through the fastboot mode and using the "fastboot boot image.img" command) and TWRP asked for a password to decrypt the storage. I tried password that I am pretty sure is correct, but the TWRP insisted it is incorect. I tried several variations to it in case I made a misclick during a setup but no luck. I wiped everything (system, cache, data, sd) and through a fastboot mode I uploaded stock boot, vendor and system to both slots.
After the reboot, I am stuck on the password (system PIN, to be precise - not the SIM PIN, that is OK) screen. When I enter an incorrect PIN, it will say that the PIN is incorrect, but when I enter the correct one, screen just goes black for a while and I am back at the screen to enter the PIN.
Is there a way to get out of this mess? I am able to get into fastboot mode and boot recovery.
Any help would be much appreciated.
More details about the process as I forgot to include. TWRP used was 3.2.3 from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...recovery-twrp-3-2-3-0-touch-recovery-t3825545). Stock FW (Nov 2019 version) used was from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...de-how-to-make-backups-restore-stock-t3889815)
Before the OMNI ROM install I have tried stock system with custom vendor (version 2.2 from the thread linked in the OMNI ROM thread) which could also contribute to the failure, but the phone did not even boot (it got stuck on the "android one" logo). I hoped that I could at least get the ability to convert SD to internal storage, as that feature is disabled on stock, but with custom vendor it works (tested on the OMNI rom, which I managed to install correctly before)
I have also found here an OST tool, which could potentially help with the situation (I am not sure) but I am missing the original firmware files to use with this tool.
The problem must be with the internal storage encryption, which got messed up in the process (I am not still sure, what went wrong). Am I correct that now I would need to find the original loadout (is there something as RUU available fror this model?) and basically revert everything including the bootloader unlock and start from the begining? Could someone here point me in the right direction how to fix this issue?
If the only way is to pay someone to fix this issue, I will gladly provide any reasonable amount if it will resolve my problem.
So all I had to do was boot into TWRP and do a factory reset from there. How stupid of me that I did not try this.

TWRP pin failed, but cannot remove pin in OS

Sadly my phone is corrupt and cant start anymore ... I want to use Newsflasher to rescue my Phone.
Before I want to use TWRP to make a backup. But I cannot enter TWRP.
As far as I understood TWRP cannot be installed on XZ2 compact, but it can be temporarily flashed (as I of course did to get my LineageOS Android 11).
But now when I flash it TWRP asks for a Password.
I just have my regular Screen Unlock Password - but if I type it in it tells me PASSWORD FAILED.
How can that be? Which other Password could it be? I dont know any ...
Obviously I would just remove the screen lock in Android. But it's corrupt x(
I want to do this before I have to do the wipe with Newflasher
If I ignore data encryption then it tells me when booting system that I have no OS installed ...
So then I will never be able to get my data back because encryption with password is still active and I cannot boot to turn it off?
And TWRP is bugged so it does not accept my real password? (How can that be omg ...)
Nothing can done now u have to flash flash a fastboot rom on your device without backup

That is what I was already thinking but yes let it be :/
I will use the old file that I used 2 years ago and also worked when I had to do the same.
For a strange reason it does not work when executing in the original created folder (by Xperifirm), but only if I push it on a external Hard Drive?
Otherwise it will tell FINISHED but it just took 3 seconds, which it will also do if it is played in any other folder ...
Anyways it asked me for a weird reason if I want to keep my userdata. I was thinking that there is no way to install a new OS but still keep the old data. I did it but then at the end of the Flashing it told the Sync did not work. I still booted up and it tells that it cant load the Android. So I dont know if this happened because I either left the user data intact or because that sync at the end did not work.
I'm just now scared to erase it when trying again, just in case that indeed I could safe my data.
So what is the story behind that *Erase User data Y / N*. Can I indeed keep my files this way?
