Viper for Android on rooted stock emui 8 with magisk

Hello guys,
I'm using the stock emui 8 rom on my honor 8 pro.
I have always intensively used viper for Android on my previous phones, and now I would like to have it in my honor 8 pro. I used to have resseruction remix as a custom ROM but it had too many bugs. Does anyone know how to get viper for Android working on a rooted stock ROM? Everytime I try installing the driver it says it was successfully but after each restart it asks again to install the driver. I have tried many things only APK install flashing v4a using twrp and using selinux changers and terminal commands but nothing seems to work.
Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help!
You have rooted it right...use the magisk v4a module...

I tried that keeps asking me to install v4a audio drivers
Viper4Android (32bit) is not compatible with EMUI8 audio driver (64bit)

Still on 7.1 samfail wanting to update to oreo or pie?

I'm not sure where to post this but I'm still on samfail 7.1 rooted. Question is can I update to oreo or pie and gain root? I seen something about V5 and V6 bootloader can be rooted but not sure if that was for our snapdragon version and if I can just do maybe an update through odin? I'm missing xposed ugh...

It is my understanding that you can root the v5 and v6 booatloaders. However, the process of rooting is limited to Android 7.1. So, in essence of your wanted root and you were in v5 or v6 you would have to install Android 7.1 through the pseudo TWRP available to those of us on the Snapdragon version and not really gain anything new. There is no root for Android 8/9 at this time. Because we cannot unlock the bootloader, we are limited to root on Android 7.1 at this time regardless of your bootloader.

I wouldnt fret too much, as PIE is pretty good, after much thinking about what apps really require root on a daily basis the upgrade was worth it as i get better battery life and not need any processor/kernel mods.
stability is awesome no more daily crashes
PIE theme / launcher is pretty nice, and you can always mod the launcher out or just install a different one and mod that one as if it were rooted.
just a thought if you were panicking like i was about leaving root for stock life, its not as bad as it seems on PIE i still have the feeling im going to need root but havnt had the need for it.

Call Recording S9+ SM-G965U1 Snapdragon Oreo/Pie/root/any

The S9+ is currently Pie-noroot-ATT baseband: G965U1UES4CSD4 but hardware is direct-Samsung unlocked XAA
1. How can I get true two-way recording:
1a. Downgrade to Oreo and use ACR by NLL?
1b. Downgrade to Oreo and somehow enable native record?
1c. Enable the native call record on Pie/XAA somehow via CSC or Xposed?
1d. Magically achieve Pie-root and use a root-call-recorder that people talk about but does not seem to exist or being used by anyone; possibly payware Skvalex
2. I am in the process to try the Oreo downgrade which may not be possible. Is this possible from Pie bootloader version 4?
3. Can the SM-G965U1 on Pie be rooted as of 11/19/2019?
- It appears snapdragon root is not possible
- Here’s a to-good-to-be-true page: https://www.gogorapid.com/how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-s9-plus-sm-g965u1-with-odin-tool/
- claiming that any of:CF Root, kingoroot, King-root, Root Gineus , FramaRoot would work
I am not interested in the usual legal advice or payware promotion

Root is not possible on U or U1 models. That website is very poorly misinformed and loaded with clickbait.
I do not know how you can enable 2 way call recording how you're wanting without root.
Sorry.

Another issue is that flashing with Heimdall essentially does not work for devices S9… or later
Therefore, flashing stock firmware onto Samsung is Windows/Odin-only

Change your CSC to IND (India) and flash an Indian ROM. Native two way call recording included. Only downside is Samsung Pay doesn't work correctly and if you accidentally press power 3 times you'll call 911.

Question about root and ios emojis on stock rom with Android 10

Hi ,
I tried unsuccesfully to switch the original android emojis for the iphone ones on my Xioami Mi A2 Lite recently updated to official Android 10.
First I did a temporary root with magisk and tried some emojis switcher apps (requiring root) and also a couple of magisk modules. But none of those options worked.
Does anyone have a solution? Should I root the phone permanently?

SM-A505GT, latest update (Android 11). Where can I find a safe root guide?

I can't find any guide for this model (SM-A505GT)
Any help is much appreciated
Also i could not find a full guide for a505f. They all pass some steps. I guess unlocking the boatloader is the first step. But all guides starting with "make sure the oem is greyed out" how to do that. If there were understandable guides stey by step, many people would root. We need guides like explaning a child. 1,2,3.... with all steps. And i see that many people having issues with custom roms. Is it possible to root stock rom ? Android 11 ui 3.1. I just wanna have root access.
