Have snapdragon s20 plus on at&t. Noticed after reboot no apps start and get no notifications until screen is unlocked. Is this true for all variants and any way to change it in settings?
It is normal

Hey all,
A search yielded no answers, so here I am
Under settings in the display menu, there's no option for me to change the "screen mode" (e.g. dynamic, standard, etc). Is this something that's only on the international versions?
Yes I believe so. I had the i9300 for a bit before getting the i747. It was in display options but on this model we don't have screen mode. Not sure why. Possibly due to the snapdragon cpu and gpu

Screen mode? What did it do exactly? Definitely not on this model. I'll have to check it out on my international model cuz I didn't notice it before!

From what I understand it changes the display setup (e.g. Colour saturation), take a look and report back!

Howdo everyone,
I briefly had an LG G2 at the start of the year (a week till i sent it back to orange) but i really liked the various option on the camera. ive now got the G3 but find that there is virtually nothing in the camera other than the basics? Am I missing something or is this on purpose? Is there any way of installing the camera app from the G2 onto the device that offers these options?

It's set to default point and shoot.. choose the three dots menu and there you can change things (yes it's not as functional as past devices apparently - seems to be a common complaint currently.)
LG tried to reduce their bloat by taking out things that most people do not normally use. For example I had a Note 3 which had 10-15 different camera options not including filters, I never used any of them expect for HDR mode. I'm glad that LG removed all of the unnecessary features, but they should have allowed users to optionally install them. LG also should have added in a way to turn off the shutter noise without us using tweak box.

They do this because it's illegal in some areas to turn off the camera noise.....

I know, but I still wish you could turn it off like on the Note 3. I like running ART so I uninstalled tweak box.

With the G3, you can completely silence the shutter sound if you turn the phone volume completely off

I have a UK LG-D855.
Just tried it again, it definitely works on mine. You have to turn the volume down on the home screen, then open the camera as the volume buttons take a photo on mine.

Must be. I would have thought the UK would have been the opposite though.
UK Phones allow camera shutter to be turned off. - Most asian and other EU models don't allow it due to legalities.
just go to /system/media/audio/ui and delete all camera sounds. done. sound gone.
Does the standard power saver mode still exist on non vzw models?

Yep
That's good. I have no idea why Verizon hides this from us. It's two edits in sqlite editor and reboot to get it back but I'll have to wait for root. At least I know it's there. Thanks

Hi guys
I have the UK version of this phone and the power saver button doesn't work. I can switch it on manually but when I select Auto when it hits a certain battery percentage and leave the screen it's back to unselected.
Have you had this issue?
I was looking in settings > display > and there was an edge screen selection. When I click on it, it says edge stopped. Anyone manage to get into it? Maybe I'm too curious, haha.

I found why. I had installed Edge Screen earlier but forgotten about it. After I uninstalled, it went away.

S20 Ultra exynos version
The swipe down notification for home screen is on, but it doesnt work after reboot?
To fix this would need to turn it off, reboot then turn it back on for it to work.
Anyone else with this problem?

If you are using Nice(GoodLock), then switch off or uninstall taskchanger. Had the same problem, uninstalled and works as it should be
