Take another look

Really really good rom, very smooth, everything works, thanks a lot! The only small thing I noticed -- there's no gradient behind notification shade, just dim layer, which causes this edge on screenshot.

I am on the mobile app so when I click it it loads me the picture DOWNLOAD. I opened it on the browser and everything was fine.

hello, there's no link...when i click on download it displays the picture "download". And lower if i click on download , there is the link for others devices but no willow...
edit : sorry it works well with computer, not with app xda...

I decided to abandon this project for some time. Sorry about that. Will be back when new device sources will be released.

DON'T FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED
Installation procedure
Note - I don't recommend you people to flash any other custom kernels on this ROM .
1. Download Rom.zip , twrp.img & vbmeta.img
2. power off your phone boot in to bootloader mode and flash twrp
3. Boot in to Twrp
4. Format data by typing yes
5. Wipe everything
6. Flash rom.zip & vendor.zip
7. Now tap on reboot and check your current active slot.
Example - if twrp shows current active slot A change to B if B change to A
8. Tap on reboot and tap on bootloader ( this will reboots your phone to bootloder mode )
9. Now open cmd in pc flash vbmeta using this command
for slot-a > fastboot flash vbmeta_a --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta.img
for slot-b> fastboot flash vbmeta_b --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta.img
( thanks to @singhnsk for this step )
10. now type fastboot reboot
and wait for 3 min rom will boot up

I have a Nokia 7.2 which has been updated to android 10, but it is really slow and buggy. Which Rom would suit me best for daily use? As i noticed the the Lineage 17.1 the Camera is not working? Would this Rom be useful and is cleaner and faster that the stock Rom?

FaceUnlock not coming back because of Lenovo and Motorola DMCA takedown. All ROMs based PE(Pixel Experience) not going to have Face unlock for some time working on that.

There is a Gcam mod if you want to use as for now we are using the default cameras.

What type of recovery?
Hi. When it says "reboot to recovery" when you are rrady to install the rom, it is supposed to be TWRP or just the default recovery????

BACKUP EVERYTHING FIRST KEEP IT SAFE.
1.GOTO Advanced Wipe >> except vendor wipe everything
2.Wipe Data >> Yes
3.Install ROM Zip
4.Wipe Dalvik/cache
5.Reboot System.
For Now use PIN as default screen lock option with fingerprint.

I can use all the lenses in gcam after activating it in settings .
Everyone should try this ROM , it is very stable and smooth. I just love pixel experience ROMs and you will not think to go back to RUI.

Use PitchBlack recovery:
Press Wipe button, press Advanced tab, check Dalvik-cache, Subs..., Magisk..., FBE cache, cache, data. Now drag PB logo to right. Exit to main screen of PB, press Mount, uncheck system and vendor, product. Check to cache, metadata, data. Exit to main. Press Install, choose the rom zip then drag PB logo to right to flash
- Reboot to system & #KeepEvolving[/SIZE]

I still not check files in slots but i think problem in my alpha recovery for joyeuse.
You flashed the rom by what' recovery ?

Aaaaand here we go 1st rom for Joyeuse is alive. (Still, installing it's complicated for now, i don't even know what oos flashed on both slots could mean, so i'll wait for rom to grow up a little).

What is slot ? Note9 has dynamic partition (system, vendor, product) so what is slot you say ?

OOS 10.3 is Oxygen OS 10,3? And which is connection of Oxygen OS with Redmi Note 9 pro joyeuse? And what do you mean with your term "flash to both slots"? What is "slots"? And how to flash OOS to both slots?

- BACKUP YOUR DATA
- WIPE EVRYTHINGS, reboot to recovery, touch save logcat, reboot to recovery again
- Copy rom to sdcard
- Flash BUILD.zip

Check your permissions in the afh directory. You might have it private.
Anyways, great to see development starting up for our variant t! Just got this device last week and am planning on maintaining some roms but I'm waiting for twrp first (as with most devs I assume)
Flashing your recovery would be done through fastboot correct? The simplicity of twrp over the years has spoiled me hahah

Don't want to double post but here's an attachment of the result when you click the download link. I checked SourceForge as well but our device isn't on it, cant edit posts on xda labs to add pics :crying:

As workaround:
open this link, scroll a little down and you will find "new uploads" at the right side ....

hmm odd. do you know what version of miui you had before flashing this? I was on 11.0.4.
also i can no longer reboot to fastbootd it takes me to recovery instead. i will send a log in abit trying to get the device to boot again
EDIT: for reference, the gsi aosp rom works fine for me as well as miui.eu. this is the only one i seem to be having wifi issues
EDIT2: so after flashing this rom i went back to stock 11.0.2 but decided to come back to send you a logcat and now wifi works. go figure lol.
anyways, thanks for your work! looking forward to seeing the dev community for our device grow

The feature set looks promising.
One question though. Can you change the vibration intensity for system with having to mess with custom kernels?

Idk i think it's need source support

I re-downloaded the ROM. There was no problem after that. Thank you.
The ROM is great. The best Android 11 ROM I've used so far. Kudos.
I noticed that face unlock is missing tho. Its inclusion would've made the ROM perfect. And styles and wallpapers app keeps crashing. Any tips for that?
