Best hard case for the S10e - Samsung Galaxy S10e Accessories

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an hard cover for this phone. From the day I bought it to this day I used the Nillkin one but now that I have to change it I was wondering if there are better options out there.
What I'm looking for is a simple hard preferably black and slim cover for the phone.
Any suggestion?

If looking for the hard case that is black and slim, check the official Samsung S10e one.
I have one (cover type) and use it from the day one - its great and much lighter than S9 version.
Also you get that nice thingies like answering the call by swiping without opening the cover.
~25usd/eur on sales (usually on Amazon)

I enjoy my otterbox symmetry clear case. It is hard plastic-rubber and the clear color shows my opal phone well.

I have the otterbox commuter, i think. It works fine. Just the fingerprint sensor is in an odd place and the case works around that. If the phone were to break that would be the spot.

Best case recommended spigen liquid air i own it and its worth every penny

Spigen cases are excellent.
I got a good deal (around $20 USD) on the Otterbox symmetry case when the S10e was just hitting the market. I've dropped the phone on concrete or hard floors at least a dozen times from around chest height and it's survived so far. The case is firm but not hard, smooth but not slick. I drop it because I forget to zip the chest pocket closed on my work vest. The case has room for an aftermarket screen protector.
The S10e has a factory plastic screen protector. If you put an aftermarket screen protector on top it will bubble around the edges. I removed the factory screen protector (which was easy) when it got a couple holes in it from scraping against a piece of metal under a car seat. I need to install a new one.

I've used Spigen cases in the past and they've worked really well. This time I also went with a Otterbox symmetry. It's slim and seems really solid. I'm left handed so I needed to cut a bit of the rubber on the backside by the power button to be able to more easily unlock with my index finger from around the back. Those both get my recommendation.

Looking for a proper case

Hey xda
Im looking for a proper case for my s3. Right now i have the official flipcase on my phone, but its just too slippery. I dropped my phone 2 tiles because of my case despite being very careful. It slipped out of my pocket once and one time I only got hold of the flip part and the phone fell. Both from 50 cm so nothing to worry about. Before having the s3, i had an ipod touch and i always used it naked with a pouch. But I dont want any scratches on my s3 back (however there are already some on it) so im looking for other protection. I dont tend to drop my phone a lot. Dropped my ipod once in 1,5 years and my s3 2 times (because of the grip). I was looking around and saw a plastic carbon battery cover replacement, but I also do think im better safe than sorry and i should get a more protective case.
I want a case that:
- doesnt add too much bulk
- offers good/decent protection (also borders at the front of the screen)
- a kickstand would be very nice to have (as i watch a lot of youtube on my phone)
- doesnt cost me a leg (€30 max i guess)
- doesnt mess the responsiveness of
Ofcourse i already checked some cases and found the case mate tough and case mate pop. I also do like the look of spigen cases.
Hope you guys have some good suggestions.
Bye mutn
I've had the UAG case for a while and its the best case I've ever had. It does NOT have a kickstand, but its great with drop protection while still keeping the phone nice and slim. I got mine for $30 on amazon, but they are probably cheaper by now.
I have been looking around and I really Like the UAG.
Could someone post a trustworthy link to the slate blue and the Black one on Amazon.co.uk as I live in Europese.

HTC one SLIM case with power and volume button?

As the title stated, does anyone know any slim case for the ONE with power and volume button? Just wish those button weren't so flushed to the phone it makes it kind of difficult to push..

A few days ago, i ordered the Cimo Grip Back Case Flexible TPU Cover for less than $10.
http://www.amazon.com/Cimo-Grip-Bac...8&qid=1377765040&sr=1-2&keywords=cimo+htc+one
The ratings are excellent on Amazon and the youtube video reviews as well. It's a nice protective TPU case with raised volume button covers, and most probably my first choice for use as a daily case.
I also ordered these two cases:
Nillkin Slim Hard Case (upon recommendation from a friend who uses a Nillkin case on his phone)
http://www.amazon.com/Nillkin-Slim-...id=1377765230&sr=1-3&keywords=nillkin+htc+one
And for better protection (with as minimum bulk as possible) which apparently has the best volume buttons feel:
OtterBox Commuter Series Hybrid Case for HTC One
http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Comm...323&sr=1-1&keywords=otterbox+htc+one+commuter
I have that Cimo case in the first link, it's almost impossible to adjust the volume & the power button is awkward as well.
I also have the Poetic Atmosphere, & that was really nice until it started coming apart.
I'm looking for a case like the OP, but haven't found one yet.

The Cimo is useable (volume rocker wise) by cutting a few strips of vinyl electrician's tape about 2x3 mm wide. Easiest way is to lay the tape on a cutting board and cut into 2mm wide stripes with a razor knife, then cut each strip again, about 3 mm long. I stacked three on top of each other using tweezers. These get applied on the inside of the case where each button hits, closer to the outer part just past the middle. The idea is to touch the buttons on the phone with the back (non sticky side) of the tape about three quarters way from the edge of where the buttons meet. You can adjust the sensitivity by the number of layers you use. Too sensitive and you may activate accidentally. At two or one layers you may not feel much better sensitivity than stock.
This "mod" makes the case a viable contender, IMO. You can do this with any case and it does not permanently change the case as slitting one side of the button material like some suggest. That particular mod does not work well with this case.
Amazon used to be my go-to place for phone cases, but Ebay actually has a way nicer selection, imho. A lot of them are super cheap from Hong Kong, which is a little shady... But I've been having good luck with the quality that I've been receiving from them and at ridiculous prices ($5 w/ free shipping, etc.)
It's definitely worth some digging and will save you the trouble of TRYING to spend $25 for free shipping on Amazon. :silly:

This is probably my favorite of the bunch:
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Mat...=1378056557&sr=8-1&keywords=htc+one+diztronic
If it had the shiny back of the Cimo it would be five stars, IMHO.
The lip is protective enough to survive a decent drop on pavement and it's not bulky at all.
The next step up (IMO) would be the speck candyshell line. They will give protection on the same order as the Otterbox Commuter without as much bulk. The Otterbox does plug the microUSB and headphone jack, however which helps keep them dust free if you pocket carry outdoors, for example.
I wish most of the tpu/rubbery cases didn't have that "frost" texture it's so annoying that almost all of them have it, I'd be happy with the diztronic but that camera cut is too ugly to let slide for my tastes

I've had this case for a few weeks now. Very tight fit. Very easy to apply & remove. Looks and feels very good in the hand. It's very thin. Great buy for under $10.

Power button is open.
Only case I've used that covers the power button and retains IR functionality was the Mophie pack. There is measurable attenuation however the ability to control IR devices seemed adequate in the timeframe I was able to test it.

If not mistaken, poetic has a 3 years warranty, can it be claimed on your case? I am also considering to buy this one, but with this issue, may be rethink again.

I also ordered this case today (it's likely to be the last case i'll ever buy for my HTC One Stealth Black as it seems to be the very best out of the lot):
http://www.amazon.com/Urban-Armor-U...F8&qid=1378229675&sr=1-2&keywords=htc+one+uag
There are several other colours, but i love the Slate/Black color combination. IMO, the latter looks better than the all-black colour case. However, if you want to get max attention for your phone, i would recommend the Rust/Black case:

[Q] Recommend me a tough, protective case

Hi all,
I'm struggling to find a readily available (in the UK at least), tough, protective case for the Moto X (2013).
I'm looking for a case that will prevent my Moto X from being damaged when it is dropped and that doesn't slide around too much when the phone is on a table.
Can anybody help me out?
I ordered a Supcase from Amazon and I've been happy with it.
My two favorite cases (and I have been through a bunch of 'em) are:
Incipio Dual Pro: good dual layer protection, extremely grippy outer shell, excellent button feedback, easily installed and removed.
Cons are the soft touch finish picks up stains easily, and the silicone inner liner is a dust magnet.
Trident Aegis: even more protection than the Incipio, especially on the corners. Button feel is also good.
Cons are it's hard plastic bag is not as grippy as the Incipio, and it is noticeably more difficult to install and remove, and it is a bit larger.
For 90% of my needs the Incipio is the winner.

I use a ballistic sg case its VERY protective and wasn't that expensive
Would you mind providing some links?

Ballistic is a us company so you would likely need to look on eBay or amazon. Just look for moto x ballistic SG case

+1 for the supcase.
only thing i hate on the case is that the color is on the back, not on the rim. my old one was the opposite it was much better.
also, just like the phone without case, if you lay it on the table and use with one finger, the phone will get pushed all over the desk and spin because of the concave back. hate that as well.
all that considered, it was still the least worst.
now they have a transparent back one that does have the color on the rim. i'd get that one. even the dev edition having that lame white back
I have the "smoke" back with the black sides. The back isn't completely clear. I like it though it does get scratched a bit.
I wouldn't say it gets pushed all over, but yes, it can move a bit. I use the calculator on my desk with one finger without much trouble.
I have the basic black stock VZW Moto X. No cool colors or designs.
Still looking!

So you've tried the suggestions in this thread and still have not found one you like? If that is not the case, what are we to make of this post?
I got the supcase and can confirm it's light weight and offer good protection. I also love the feel of the material.
But as with all cases, that one time you try to unlock with the phone resting on a table and the phone moves and spins is enough to drive you mad.
I'm now using a $1.99 case from monoprice. It's also protective and holds the phone to the table as if it were glued! Without holding in your pocket. Very happy with it. I will only use the supcase one now if I'm traveling.

Great case with OUT a cover

I searched everywhere for recommendations for a case with OUT a cover. I wanted just a case that covered the back and as slim as possible and with some grip but NOT sticky. I took a chance and bought this case for my 9.7" because I'm new I can't post a link but search eBay for X-Line Shape Soft TPU Rubber Gel Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0"/9.7" the seller is hksanho I highly recommend it as it fits perfectly, is extremely well made (actually I'm shocked at how perfect the molding is) gives grip and is not sticky. I have a Gold Tab S2 and I bought the grey, it perfectly compliments it, further giving it the titanium look. Best of all it took only 6 days from time of order to delivery in Phoenix. I've only bought one or two things from directly from China and was extremely reticent to buy something I couldn't see or feel and not knowing if I'd ever actually get it in my lifetime LOL. Hopefully my post will help others and obviously I have no connection to the seller!
I agree
I purchased one of these cases for my Sony Z4 tablet quite a while ago; and it has been Fantastic! Super thin and fits Perfectly! I just bought one for my S2.
Thanks for finding the case. I was just trying to find out if the case was available for the Samsung - Really, I was!
Seems like the screen is the most vulnerable part. How does this kind of cover help?

After holding the tablet for a longer period of time i found the edges too hard. Based on your experiences would this cover solve this for me? Also if it would make the back of it a little less slippery that would be a bonus
yes -solves also these issues. thanxx for the tip, i ordered a black one these days. very pleased. feels like the light tablet in hands and covers perfectly my external charging pad, which allows wireless charging. very, very cool. for "expeditions" outside the house, i put the whole thing inside a book cover for protection, but at home the "minicase" is fine.

Anyone running a case?

Hi All,
I am a S7 Active owner since launch day and really love the phone. Just curious if anyone is running a case or bumper-style case on the phone? I know the rubberized coating on the perimeter of the phone does a decent job, but if I could find something slim and good looking I may consider it just to protect from scuffing the perimeter and screen/back.
Chris
Cimo case here. love it. was getting rid of old phone stuff and came across some apple stickers; had to do it lol. nice slim tight fit, love it. also got glass screen protector which i highly suggest as the screen is polycarbonate plastic on top and WILL scratch easily.

Got a otterbox for it. The holder kinda sucks which can let the phone fall out in extreme situations and turns the phone into a bulky cumbersome brick but a indestructible cumbersome brick.
I am a case addict and have a case for every scenario:
Otterbox Defender for extreme scenarios.
BodyGuardz case for medium/heavy duty protection.
Body Glove for kickstand use.
SUPCASE UNICORN BEETLE for grip and fitted case (best all around). Pics below.
S5 Seidio holster for naked use.
Holster used with SUPCASE is the Note 4 Seidio holster.

This.
I will be doing liquid screen protection, since I did my homework and read the countless reports of the overlay being prone to scratches. Beyond that, I might do a skin for the back/sides, but the phone seems bulky enough without adding a case.
I have a Poetic Affinity but rarely use it, I love way the phone feels without a case.

I am also using the SUPCASE UNICORN BEETLE and love it! Best all around case, so much so that I don't even look around any more! Easy to hold, great protection - front, back and edges, and slips in and out of my pockets without a lot of hassle!
I just went simple - TGSP and a clear TPU cover - "Fosmon DURA-T Slim TPU Back Cover Case". Paid less than $10 off amazon for both. The phone is sufficiently rugged on its own for my purposes, it was more about keeping it from looking like it went through a war zone.
What I particularly like about TPU covers is that they slide in and out of my pocket easily. nothing to grab my clothes with.
2 co-workers got the S7 active after I did - one had no intention of using a screen protector nor a case, but he's gotten some "microscratches" and is reconsidering. The other has gotten a couple very light scratches while waiting for the TGSP to come in, again from amazon.
Just next day'd " Samsung Galaxy S7 Active Case, Zizo [Bolt Series] " off Amazon (it looked the most rugged and thats what i was looking for) comes in tonight and I will try to write an update if I get a chance.
Got the case in, it's definitely rugged.
Audio jack is right next to the hanger clip which may make it difficult to insert head phones, but I only use blue tooth so that doesn't affect me.
The screen sealed on nice and over all the case fit real snug. I like it as of right now but will try to update once it goes through it's first real impact.... hopefully it does it's job.

Weird, all my buttons are easy to push... Maybe there is some accuracy issues in production? Because all these buttons are easier to push then the Defender series I had on my other phones.
Maybe the rubber button over the power button just needs to be broken in a little. Try taking the case off and pressing the button in and out a few times to make sure it is pressing easily and then placing it back on.
So far I really like this case... its holding up well for me and its really easy to grip... personally I thought I wouldn't like the lanyard that came with it... but now I keep it on at all times and it keeps me from misplacing my phone so often.
