I saw many post on XDA and other website, many people brought S20 from oversea and eSIM menu doesn't show on the phone.
While some people can change the CSC to enable eSIM menu some don't. (Don't have SIM card or that model don't have the CSC you want.)
I would like to know is it possible to enter eSIM menu and add new plan with "Activity Launcher"?
I would like to buy S20+ Snapdragon from either Korea or Hongkong/Taiwan.
I found some post online Korea model running on Thailand network don't have eSIM menu and Taiwan model running on Japan network don't have eSIM menu.
If esim is locked by csc, you can always just flash in your local csc file via odin. This doesn't trigger knox and didn't require root.
Change in csc will factory reset the phone.

Is that possible if the phone is Snapdragon and the CSC file is from Exynos?
My phone is rooted and I have magisk. What’s the easiest way to enable esim?
If it’s flashing csc, then which one should I flash? My phone is S20 ultra Exynos

Yes, it is locked with csc. I changed my CSC to XEF french by mistake and it enabled esim.

If your phone is rooted then it'll be easier to just edit the csc file to enable esim.
I'm the past i use dr ketan csc features file on note 8 to enable features locked by csc such as native call recording and camera shutter sound toggle.. Not sure if it'll work on s20..

He only work on note series. So there probably won't have an csc editor that can reveal esim by him at the moment until note 20 is launched..
I used him as an example. There might be others out there, try looking around

Need more info. Which is your phone model? Current csc code? Your operator/carrier/network? Why do you need esim? Does your carrier support esim and for your current mobile plan?
If your provider supports esim, and you got your phone in india or ksa, (i noticed many Indians prefer to buy their phones in ksa, perhaps it is cheaper there..) then you are in luck as both countries csc is under samsung almighty OMC. It's a simple as entering a code with your imei into the caller app, reboot.
You may follow this guide.
https://www.**********.com/how-to-change-csc-in-samsung-galaxy-phones/
Do take note changing csc will factory reset the phone and you'll loose any data that is not backed up.
Also if you choose a csc that is not ins, you might loose Indian specific functions and apps.
Choose your csc wisely. Im in malaysia, so my csc is xme, it has esim, volte, wifi calling (if your operator supports it) but no option to switch off camera shutter sounds and no native call recording.

So I recently bought note10+ 5G (N976B) and it's running TEL csc and it's already 2 updates behind the last update from other CSC
So I downloaded new version with BTU csc from sammobile and flashed on my phone with odin but it's still on TEL csc
So what is going wrong here?

You're gonna need to use the app called SamKey, google it or search these forums and you'll see the requirements....i believe you need to purchase "3 credits" but the process only uses 2....
I haven't used it which is why i tell you google/search to read about it, but from what i have read for people without root it's the only way to do it now.
And if you have root, you can change it manually without need for the app.

Guys, there´s a new SamKey version available which includes support for ALL NEW FIRMWARES (October 2020).
I just changed the CSC for my SM-G985F with FW TIB (Latest one - September patch), and it worked perfectly.
Thank mate, please give me a link for samkey.

Google it, it's the .org site
Does it work with HK version? (SM-G9860)
Thanks for the update! I successfully changed by G986B from BOG (Bouygues) to XEF (France), because I was annoyed of getting the bloatware when I was updating the firmware, and also because I was forced to update it manually.
Don't forget to remove the SIM card before attempting to change the CSC though. I didn't do it the first time and it didn't work, hopefully their system is smart enough that it doesn't decrease the credits if you're trying the same thing twice.
Does changing CSC allow something like bootloader unlock for US Snapdragon variants?
did someone manage to change the csc with the SM-G988B (S20 Ultra 5G Exynos) ??
thanks a lot, its means that i can change my g986b csc from atl to phe???? i have binary 4

Hi all. I'm using note 20 ultra 5g n9860 tgy but now i bought s20 5g g9810 but chc and a can't sync samsung health data...
And is there a possibility to flash firmware for TGY region (both are g9810) or just to simply change it with this apk?!
And one more thing; this g9810 is chc version bought on tradingshanzen and comes with play store. If I make factory reset will I lose ps?

Hi All
Simple question..........
Has anyone successfully changed the CSC on their fold 3 yet whilst being completely stock?
Samkey is not up to date yet and isn't compatible and none of the method dotted about on the net seem to work (using special dialing codes etc)
If anyone has, what did ya do?
only way to change CSC right now is via ODIN flash; Indonesian Varient seems to have the most features, including eSIM enabled.
Thanks man.
Do you have an exact procedure to follow? Do I need to take sim out etc?

Flash AP/BL/CP/CSC using ODIN, make sure for CSC you load the CSC_OMC_OLE and NOT the HOME_CSC
XID version enables call recording and e-SIM on your SM-F926B/DS
Would this also hold true to the SM-926U1 model as well?

Unfortunately you can't flash a boot loader from a different version, so the U1 has to stay a U1, B has to stay a B. Since the U1 is just sold in the US, unless one of the carriers unlocks eSIM or Call Recording, changing the CSC is useless.

Could we please refrain from giving incomplete and barely legible advice that doesn't really help people, please?
@hammody to flash that CSC, you'll need:
- ODIN (latest version is 3.14.4 I believe, you'll have to hunt XDA for the latest version, and it's not yet guaranteed to work with the Fold4 - an update might possibly be needed)
- The appropriate firmware containing the CSC you're looking for (samfirmware or similar sources, https://github.com/samloader/samloader if you're technically adept)
- Possibly a SIM card from that CSC region (this is because your phone will choose the best matching CSC, based on, in order: 1, SIM card 2, Phone release region 3, best/default available CSC if neither SIM nor phone region CSC found)
1. Insert SIM card into phone
2. Flash firmware with ODIN (this WILL wipe your phone)
3. Reboot and wait
The correct CSC should be picked up and loaded, and call recording function should be available. However you _might_ lose features that are in the local CSC.

Hello guys, please is there a way to get access to the apparently hidden/disabled sim card manager option in settings on samsung galaxy S20, without having to 'contact the carrier'? Been unable to use esim as a result of this issue.
Update to OneUI 5.1 and if you're not getting update then change CSC with SamFw. It does without losing data.
For me on my SM-G988B/DS after the update I lost 2nd Physical sim option. Lol Samsung says phone doesn't originally have dual slot usage option.
