Google Wallet: Failed transaction pic SOLVED

I used it once so far and it worked great.
At the same store the next day it didnt work, tried it again this morning and it didnt work.. First time it worked on rev41 second and third on same rev failed, updated to r48 the most current now and Ill try again..
Has anyone else seen this when trying..

SOLVED
Make sure you have the newest market version, do the phone browser method of backing out and selecting market/install (method found on droid life and other places, search if you cant find it) OR find the apk somewhere.
Reboot after install, log in and it should ask you to set up wallet again.. if it does not, CLEAR WALLET DATA from under apps and re set it up again. Youre stuff transfers dont worry.
Mine didnt work with the r41 version but now works again with r48. It didnt take more than a split second to approve it.

I've seen this a couple of times, and mentioned it in a few posts. It can happen if the reader is not connected properly or is having some other issue (was there a green light on the pad?) or more commonly...
Next time it happens open the app and select the Google prepaid card, Look at the picture below. If where your userid is you see "cannot contact bank" it will not work. The wallet requires that you have an active network connection to process a transaction. This is the one downside I see as I have been in a couple places where they have the pad but the signal is poor at best.

I had this happen to me last night at 7-11. I've used it before on the exact same terminal just fine. I did the work around to get the latest update from the market. I'm assuming that's what the problem was. Idk though. I uninstalled the update from the market and am back on the version that's previously worked but I haven't had a chance to try it again.

Didnt have a connection problem I do know that.
Im thinking its the old version as well.. I may just go try it again here in a bit.. im betting that its the version though. Ive installed the new market revision and cleared the settings to re enable everything.. fingers crossed

Customize Status Bar?

Can anyone tell me how do I customize the status bar icons on my G3? I really need to add a button to enable or disable GPS.

On the toggles drag them all the way left, at the very end there's an edit toggle that will take you to the customization screen thing.

I'd love to get it, unfortunately since I rooted my new G3 this last weekend I can't download anything from Google Play. Can you tell me where I can get the APK?

But why can't you install anything from the app store? That's bizarre..the first thing I do is root my devices, doesn't affect the play store....necessarily

It is bizarre. I can access Google Play, find an app, and attempt to download, except that the app never downloads. I get an error 495. I've googled that error and I've cleaned data and cache from Google Play and Google Framework. I've also removed my Google email address from Accounts, cleared it all again, then added my email again. No joy. Seems there are a small number of people with that problem. It's very frustrating with my brand new phone.

Try downloading an app from your browser and not the Play Store app. This has got mine working in the past when nothing else worked.

Sounds like switching Roms might solve that problem. Are you on the stock Rom? Here's the one I'm using, there are only two for now and they are both leaps and bounds better than stock. Additionally, it may be a problem with an older iteration that rom if you are using a custom one

Sony SmartWatch 2 - Weather app won't update automatically

Hi guys!
I'm facing a really annoying problem. After the last update from Sony Weather, the little app is stuck, and won't update anymore...
Is anyone else facing the problem? A possible sollution?

Yep it was discussed already in another thread and there is no solution unless Sony updates...

In fact there is a solution. Installing the ap smartweather for smartwatch, which is much better than the official one.
You can find it in Google play, although it's a paid app but it deserve the price.

Of course they should fix this bug, but I hope they make the ap even better, because I demanded a long time ago to have manual update by long tap on the watch and it never came true. However I have this wanted feature in the ap I suggested before. You can try it in the meanwhile, maybe you'll like it [emoji4]

My solution
I looked for the app in APTOIDE store, and downgraded it to the earlier version. Now it's working perfectly.

That would be nice... The previous version worked just fine.

Sony's silence is a shame... I sent them an email and put a 1-star comment on the app, no reply, not even an acknowledgement.
If they don't know how to fix it, they could at least have reverted back to previous version.
As a retaliation, I just rated all of Sony's SW2 related app 1 star on the Play Store, and I invite all angry customers like me to do the same.

Can someone guide me to a "clean" 1.0.15 version as all files I find ask for strange authorizations (SMS, Calling, etc.).
When I download the Aptoide version I get a 7+ MB file for an app that shouldn't weight more than some 320~ kb. I didn't install any of these as I don't trust them.
Your help would be appreciated... :highfive:

Do you have already installed aptoide apk? Probably is trying to install itself, prior to download the file you want.

Weather app isn't working

Hi everyone!
I'm expecting a problem with the weather app in my watch.
Since I switched my Galaxy S9+ to a Huawei P30 PRO the weather application does not work.
I already tried everything: I did a hard reset in my P30 PRO, in the clock, uninstalled application .. Nothing worked!
I recorded a video for you to see what happens:
On the clock, the option appears for me to add a location, so I click and it asks me to add the location on the phone, and then it happens what I reported in the video.
Can anyone help me?

I had similar issue when I paired my watch with my OnePlus 7 Pro. What worked for me was installing this version of Samsung's weather app. The widgets won't load on my home screen and there is no icon in the app drawer (so the app is basically useless on the phone) but once installed the weather on the watch and Galaxy Wear app works perfect. Not sure if the app will work on your P30 but worth a try.

I tried to install your app, but it failed... And showed to me if I was trying to UPDATE the app.. So I opened the app and saw that was writed "restored from a backup"... So I realized that this app was imported from my old S9+ and then I uninstalled the app and voilá, now the app it's working!

Glad I could help, that annoyed me for like a week trying to figure it out.
I have an S10+ and a OnePlus 7 Pro. I have two Galaxy watch 46mm. My LTE watch is connected to my S10+ and the Bluetooth version is connected to my OnePlus 7 Pro and the weather not working on the Bluetooth version was annoying the hell out of me.

Works here in Canada

You should see this. I've successfully enabled call screen outside the US with root method.

What? It should be there as long as you're using a Pixel 4 with the Google Phone app pre-installed.

Yep, I just did. I live in India and I own a Pixel 4 XL.
Here are the steps that worked perfectly for me:
1. Uninstalled Phone app's updates.
2. Cleared cache/storage of Play Store app.
3. Force stopped Google Play Store.
4. Turned on VPN and set the location to the USA (I use TunnelBear VPN service).
5. Opened Google Play Store and updated Phone app.
6. Opened Phone app and went to settings. I had "Spam and Call Screen" feature available there.
I just tried it out and I can confirm that the above steps work.

I can confirm the above does not work in the UK.

Hey, it was working fine with my case but later when I had to restart my device, it stopped working. I don't really know what went south but then I replicated these steps for myself and it still didn't appear. Tried that for like, 3-4 times. Have stopped giving it a try since then. It's really weird to see it working and then all of a sudden, it just went away.

It's all cloud controlled, I guess we.need to understand how google triggers the option their be backend.
