Hi!
I have some problems with my HTC M9.
When i switch it on its in a bootloop. I can get into bootloader where it says that its "Official" "Unlocked" and "S-off".
When i try to go into recovery or download mode a "failed to boot to download mode/recovery" appears.
So is there a way to fix this via bootloader/fastboot since i can't get into DM or recovery?
Thank you!
Edit:
Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot getvar all
(bootloader) version:0.5

Using a M9 long time. Flashed MoKee Rom at least and all has worked fine. Very fine...
But today i walked in the city and took my handy - display black. Nothing worked.
i tried to make a hard reset (Pressed all three buttons for a while), but only one big black stripe on display appears and short vibration and display went black again.
when i put usb cable to connect it to pc, a signal of pc comes. you can see m9 in windows explorer, but not access to sd cards.
What can i do....?? is my handy bricked? or display out of order?
Update.... i can get into fastboot, but display is black....
here my result of getvar all

You flashed a GSM firmware on a CDMA device. The problems you face are all expected behaviour since both technologies are not compatible with each other. CDMA devices support different frequencies as GSM devices. In other words you might not be able to get LTE on a GSM carrier if you use a CDMA device and vice versa. In addition the partition layout of the two device groups differs. Even different CDMA versions (Sprint vs. Verizon) aren't compatible with each other from the firmware side.
Get back to your original firmware and if you're lucky all problems should be gone. If you're unlucky you damaged your phone unrecoverably.
(Just talking to myself: Why do I actually warn about cross-flashing in the ReadMe thread, which is pinned above the normal threads in the General section and in the Q&A section, if nobody cares to read that thread?)
I have the same problem with him!so to conclude, I damaged my phone :crying::crying::crying:
please help

any help please
Please read the ReadMe thread. You'll find out that error 90 is completely normal if you use HTC_fastboot and that the SuperCID is everything else than recommended on this phone.
I personally prefer the SD card method for flashing RUUs. Even if the phone tries to boot the system you can still manually boot to download mode and it will continue flashing the RUU.

Hi,
Have you tried factory resetting the phone and then try for download or recovery mode?
Help needed as I am a little confused on this matter.
I am on HTC 10 software version 3.16.401.2 Oreo, If I recall correctly as I did it a long time ago, I had previously rooted my phone with SuperSU but uninstalled by Full unroot method due to some apps not working with rooted phone.
Then start of this year, I tried Magisk for root, and although my phone got rooted, SafetyNet check showed "CTS Profile match: Fail", now Central Bank in my country has made mandatory for Commercial banks to stop supporting Rooted devices and 1 Mobile banking app has stopped working for me. So I un-rooted my device as describe in Magisk app but it did not resolve my issue. Therefore I decided to follow below tutorial:
https://youtu.be/1ACU3RGm9YI?t=465
2PS6IMG_PERFUME_UHL_O80_SENSE90GP_MR_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.2_R4_release_519849.zip
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939830809
I first reset my phone to Factory settings, then I used above file for stock rom restoration but noticed it Bypassed some images. When finished, I started my phone and TWRP was replaced with stock recovery but still Root Checker reports "Sorry root access is not properly installed on this device" and Play Protect Certification is> "Device is not certified" and Mobile banking app still not compatible with my device.
So, what should I do and what did I do wrong? Should I install TWRP again and then restore Stock TWRP Backups to get back to stock status?

SOLVED. After trying the RUU zip method and TWRP Stock ROM restore, which was not enough, I had to re-lock my HTC 10 bootloader and device is now Play Store Certified and SafetyNet passes my device. I can now install my banking apps.
MAAZAHMEDSIDDIQEE said:
ÇÖZÜLDÜ. RUU zip yöntemini ve yeterli olmayan TWRP Stock ROM geri yüklemesini denedikten sonra, HTC 10 önyükleyicimi yeniden kilitlemek zorunda kaldım ve cihaz artık Play Store Sertifikalı ve SafetyNet cihazımı geçiyor. Artık bankacılık uygulamalarımı yükleyebilirim.
