Having trouble with SM-A705F after upgrading Android 10. Call recording disappeared. Before using Android 10 Vietnam I have used Android 10 of India. Some other A70 still have call recording function. Everyone help me. I would like to thank

Since you updated to Vietnamese android 10 update I am assuming your particular csc doesn't has this feature.
In android 10 of india, their csc had call recording feature.
Maybe update to android 10 of India to get back this feature

Not sure if it's available on any stock builds, but it definitely works on ICE custom rom

It depends on the region the device is sold. I you won't find it on any US sold device due to differing laws. As an example it is legal where my brother lives o lyrics of he informs the caller right off when the call starts. As to the state I live in it is not legal at all.

Google disabled thinrd party call recording in android Pie.
Can anyone tell me if this feature will disappear in pie update? I received the OTA but i really need this ( it's the main reason reason to me for buying Asus phones). If disabled, i can't update the phone.
Asus support can't answer...

I've installed the Pie update and the inbuilt call recording works fine as before. You can go ahead and update.

The 3rd party ACR app doesn't work but the inbuilt call recording function works fine.

They have blocked it in PIE update. It is really wrong as in many countries it is still legal. ONEPLUS has call recording in their PIE update. It is really sad. I don't understand why can't they offer it in their phone as they will lose the market otherwise to their counter part ONEPLUS. It is legal in INDIA and CHINA which are the biggest markets for ASUS. God helps the ASUS for foolish decisions.

True phone dialer
I'm using the latest official version, without root.
After thorough searches I found no apps that can record calls with actual sound.
Appreciate ideas how do do it.

Isn't there a inbuilt call recorder in the default dialer ? Go to settings and check ?

Could well be.
The recording S9 I mentioned below is still on Android 9, while the S9+ is on Android 10.
I found apps which are seemingly recording, however no sound. Like they are blocked from accessing the sound, despite the granted permission.
Need a workaround probably?
in my opinion, having stock unrooted you can forget about recording calls on S9/s9+
Despite all that android 10 on the S9 ruined the phone! i have more 3 months of warranty and i'll root it and have a custom rom! o

Same as Note 10 lite. Only Fet that A71 The DEX feature lets you mirror your phone screen to a supported TV and use it as a touchpad to control the TV with multi-finger gestures.

No worries. I'm uploading a custom ROM to XDA and I want to know if I should add it as an "added feature" xDDD

Based on the One UI 2.1 update, it took 4 months for my TPA to receive so I would expect this one in January or February. Maybe Samsung will surprise us this time but it takes them forever to roll out updates to all the channels. Some channels seem to always get them first while other last.

My phone is TPA to ci just update withcpoland ROM. Save the data, becouse all will be deleted.

Hopefully this update rolls out faster particularly for TPA. I'm looking on sammobile at the firmware history for the regions that received the latest update and there's about a 3-4 week gap from ATH8 to ATI8 FW.

A71 is on the list of devices with 3 years OS upgrades so YES you will see 3.0 .... eventually
Still no 60fps video recording option for a71 while a70s does.
