That's too bad, was hoping for a UX Update.
It's not Q... Sadly...
I didn't check ARB specifically but I was able to flash this update (20F) and then revert back to 20E back and forth while trying to unlock bootloader and root on new V35 meaning ARB didn't change. I haven't noticed anything new, probably just the security patches.

Yes, that is correct. That's is the date of when the update was rolled out. If you go to Settings --> System --> About Phone --> Software Info you will see the Android security patch level. That's should say February 1, 2020.

They are only working on soak. Seems to hard to make that and do the little patches
Hello. I have a verizon note 8 SM-950U (N950USQU3CRBB). My phone says there is no new updates but last security patch was on march which is the one that came with oreo. How can i get it to download the april security patch?

I got the first just few hours after unboxing and it was automatic. Few days ago I checked for updates manually and now I'm on 1st October security patch.
I have an 837T (tmobile) and I'm still on Septembers patch.

You can keep an eye on this link for when a new release happens for T-Mobile. They shipped in November with the September patch and have not updated yet.

This morning, December 2018 OTA update notification came on my phone (Slovakia, reteu, XT1676 DualSIM). I'll capture it and upload it to the GDrive as soon as I get home from school.
Running OPPS28.85-13-2, got OPPS28.85-13-4 update.

Here they mention that both OPPS28-85-13-4 and OPPS28-85-16-4 correspond to the builds with the December security patch, but the build marked which is OPQS28-85-13-4 to which corresponds?

Do they keep up with the monthly security patches?
I am in Europe.
Do you know for how long does LG update their android phones? Would I just be better getting samsung if I want to have android updated for longer?

In addition to Google, monthly updates are only made by Samsung [emoji6]

The G8s is said to receive Android 10 only in Q3 of 2020 - so if you're looking for a phone which gets the update soon you're probably out of luck with that phone
Otherwise security patches are kind of reliable, I'm on Dec patch right now with an unlocked German G8s

Try checking for updates, via wifi if you aren't on sprint network. Got my February update today...

I am not from USA, I'm from the Caribbean, I have a Lg G8s G810RA model, always checking and nothing.
I saw alot of people said buying an unactivated At&T sim works , just activate on their website and pop it in.
But that's another cost by itself to ship to me here.

An LG g8s is not an at&t model.... Just find the latest k dz on lg-firmwares.com and flash it with lgup

I use a cheap ZTE Blade A5 2019 for work and it has Pie with March 2020 security updates. It's a shame my Lg G8s, a last year flagship is stuck with Pie 9 and 1st Jan 2020 security updates...
