Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words, because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered, because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward for people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something i picked up while playing a game.

Well, has at least the same problems all V30 LOS-17 based "Android 10" ROMs have...
See post #2 of this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/how-to/detailed-guide-aosp-roms-issues-solution-t4002535
If there are any additional issues -- specific to this ROM -- the dev or users will have to answer.

If you follow the former H931 AOSP prep steps.
Same with H933.
Those two variants need additional work to me able to boot AOSP ROMS.

Any V30/V30+/V30S in the world can be bootloader unlocked and rooted. Who cares what LG officially allows or doesn't allow?
You actually quoted this post below in another thread. It's your answer. Please go read it and follow the instructions.
ChazzMatt said:
Any V30 in the world can be bootloader unlocked and rooted. You need to TEMPORARILY downgrade to earlier firmware, then after bootloader unlock you can update back to newer. I personally only recommend going to last Oreo, but you can update back to Pie to run this ROM if that's what you want.

Flash latest build
I've used this ROM as my daily driver for a week. Here's my results.
Device: H930DS Singapore
Base KDZ: 3031A Open EU
GApps: MicroG + FDroid
Things I do
Listen to music. A lot. Over both BT and quad DAC.
Browse internet. I use webapps over heavyweight installed apps whenever possible.
Mapping. Geographical, not "search GMaps for a place to eat".
Take photos. I'm not a high end photographer.
Use work apps that are quite invasive regarding security.
Things I do not do
Gaming.
Streaming.
VR.
Use voice commands.
Use assistants / integrated search functions.
Use dual SIM (my model has it, I just don't use it).
Pros
Very stable. No reboots or other issues.
Supports signature spoofing natively despite not advertising it in the features.
No occurrences of the usual 10 bugs.
Good built in theming options.
Cons
The screen wakes on music track change and there is no option to disable it. This is incredibly annoying. The only way to prevent this is to globally disable wake on notification, which is poor UX. I want my screen to wake when I get an SMS, for example.
No option to customize navigation bar actions, though you can customize the layout.
LED doesn't work (both the LED itself and edge lighting); it never turns on.
Limited options for mobile data: you can customize your APN and preferred network type, but nothing else. No ability to select a specific network, for example.
Changing certain system settings (such as dark mode) causes the wallpaper to revert to the default StagOS paper.
App compatibility issues. None of these are the fault of the ROM, they are known compatibility problems with these apps and 10. I list them so others can get a heads up and not blame ROM devs.
AOSP keyboard doesn't support swipe to type.
Most AOSP apps don't support dark mode. You can override this with developer settings > override force dark but it's still not perfect. I strongly recommend using Darq.
Overall
This is a solid ROM. I really wish there were more usability customization options, but the stability and performance are good. One can install gravitybox to get that extra customization, but I've found this negatively impacts stability and have stopped using it. If you like stock AOSP I highly recommend this ROM. Because of the great stability I will continue to use this as my daily driver for a while and see if I can get used to the usability issues.
Changelog:
- May security patch
- Device specific changes thanks to Markus and Slowhy

This is Candy9. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM, with regular updates and security patches.
We do this as a hobby, and we happily share the Candy of our toils with the custom ROM community, for free. We use what we share on our own devices, most as Daily Drivers, so you can be confident that problems will be promptly addressed.
Thanks for your support and camaraderie. Special thanks to GZOSP, GZR-Roms, LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni, TeslaROM, AOSiP, DU and the innumerable rest who make their source open. We can't do all of this on our own!
Donations are appreciated, but NEVER expected.
Stay tuned for more Candy!

FAQ
As of 11Mar2018, firmware is at OB5 for OP5.
You may find that you have apps FCing after a dirty flash or nandroid restore. Such apps may include Email apps, and other apps that use WebView. AOSP includes their WebView, but it is pretty outdated. If you experience these FCs, and clearing data or even REINSTALLING an app does not fix it, take a look at the version of webview selected in Settings > System > Developer options > WebView implementation, and choose the newest one, in this case, Chrome stable:
Depending on the version of GApps you have installed, you may remove/replace included apps (like Dialer, Calendar) without knowing it. For this reason it's suggested to use the smallest GApps package possible that gives you Play Services functionality.
Screen recording tile:
There are 3 different resolutions for the screen record tile, indicated by the 3 "dots" that will appear on the icon. 480P. 720P and 1080P, are 1, 2, and 3 dots, respectively. Tap to change them, then long press to record when ready. Tap the flashing red dot in the lower right of the screen to end recording, or long-press it to move the dot to the other side of the screen.
What's not working:
You tell me. I'm running this as a daily driver and it's been through testing. But if a noteworthy bug arises, I'll try to list it here for public knowledge.
First!
Thanks for this! Downloading right away. Will test soon.
Feels GOOD to see you here mate.... Keep up the good work.

FAQ
You may find that you have apps FCing after a dirty flash or nandroid restore. Such apps may include Email apps, and other apps that use WebView. AOSP includes their WebView, but it is pretty outdated. If you experience these FCs, and clearing data or even REINSTALLING an app does not fix it, take a look at the version of webview selected in Settings > System > Developer options > WebView implementation, and choose the newest one, in this case, Chrome stable:
View attachment 4405650View attachment 4405651
Depending on the version of GApps you have installed, you may remove/replace included apps (like Dialer, Calendar) without knowing it. For this reason it's suggested to use the smallest GApps package possible that gives you Play Services functionality.

It's up now... and not 100% in my book. So take it for a spin and let me know (with logs of failures) what is not working.
Long live baconized!!!
Is there no hardware button settings there yet? Everything else works pretty smooth rom will give battery updates in 2-3 cycles.
Finally the wait is over! Great job and a huge THANK you for the continuous bacon support!
Thank you dan everything seems to be running great so far.

Mobile Hotspot not working
Thanks for the amazing work. Everything is working great except WiFi Hotspot. Connected, no internet. Any thoughts?
Would you recommend the official OpenGapps 8.0, or the unofficial OpenGapps 8.1?
I'm aware that it links to the 8.0 but this ROM is 8.1 so i'm a bit confused.

I used the unofficial OpenGapps 8.1 Nano from the General section of the forum without issue.

You should really use 8.1 on an 8.1 based ROM.
Face unlock works???

We are NOT responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of flashing ROMs, kernels, or installing any other mod. You are responsible for your own actions and bad decisions - so stop blaming others!
This is a user friendly thread. Please be respectful and courteous to other users. While feature requests will be considered, AquariOS tries to maintain a ROM that is smooth and stable, so adding every feature under the sun is not the plan here.
READ!1. Unless I tell you otherwise, you MUST always, absolutely, positively, most certainly wipe data AND cache before flashing AquariOS...without a doubt!
2. Don't report bugs if you haven't followed directions - most likely it's user error at that point as far as I'm concerned.
3. Always run a backup before doing anything.
4. Provide a log when reporting a bug (see more info below).

Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!
1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.
2. It's bootlooping after flashing ROM with Magisk - now what?
Don't flash Magisk until you have already booted into the new AquariOS build at least once. If that wasn't your issue, sometimes Substratum overlays can cause bootloops. If you have anything applied, flash the SubstratumRescue zip from your substratum directory
3. Why is the built-in System Theme section greyed-out (background, accent, & fonts)?
When the Substratum app is installed, this section will become inaccessible in order to prevent conflicts. You CANNOT use them both at once!
Reporting a bug?
See how to do so here:
BEFORE REPORTING A BUG:
1. Flash the SubstratumRescue zip and see if your issue is still there.
2. If you have flashed a custom kernel or ANY OTHER MODs, delete 'data/system/packages_cache' then wipe dalvik/cache, and flash AquariOS again WITHOUT any additional modifications/custom kernel.
3. Check to see if your issue persists.
*Do NOT even bother reporting an issue if you have dirty-flashed AquariOS over some other ROM! We WILL be able to tell!
Logs are crucial to resolving almost any kind of issue. You need to provide a log in order for the issue to be addressed. Please also include info on how to reproduce the reported bug if possible (maybe even take a screen recording for us ).
If you need a log extracting app, try out CatLog!
Either save your log locally and share it, or paste your log into an online code sharing tool like hastebin.com - then share the URL after hitting the SAVE icon.

"HELP!! SafetyNet appears to be failing now!"
That's why most apps will say it has failed, when in fact it isn't even testing it [properly], therefore it reports it as failed. Try testing with the SafetyNet Helper Sample app, which seems to still be working because of it using the older method (for now...until they update it).

Yesssssssss! Thanks Caleb! Donation incoming
This is excellent, I loved AquariOS on my HTC 10. It was rock solid!
Can I use diag mode to enable VOLTE
Thank you! I flashed the first April build and enjoyed it very much. Will update now.
Would like to chip in that the test builds have been wonderful so far, so expect great things from the official one and there is certainly more to come from the team!

What about the multi touch bug present in 8.1 ROMs, I'm assuming it still exists with this rom?

Giving this a flash when I get home from work!
All the excitement
I just wanna say a few words real quick, XDA is not the place to have such conversation in public, There is a PM system for a reason, Alternatively there's also offsite solutions for such things, Please use them.
Offsite issues, Whatever they may be they do not belong here, This is a development thread and as such please keep it that way, And move forward.
If anyone has any questions, Please message me directly.
Thank you.

Ok first of all a bit of a blunder happened here. My internet connection was a bit bad and nothing happened on pressing the submit button so I pressed it several times and 5 duplicate threads came up. Mods will have to look into it
Edit: to mods, I sent this thread for application so please don't move this thread
I always liked cosmic OS, will have a look into it later today. Nice to have another good ROM back for the OP2.
Btw if you guys have issues with mounting data after flashing the ROM use my enhanced twrp build and it will work just fine
I tried to search the thread (previous, this is way too new) for the answer, but it can't find the solution. Oneplus 2 has this physical alert slider, which is one of the best features of this phone imo. Now I can't seem to get it to work on this rom, for some reason. I switch it up or down without any changes.. Adding a new rule or state wont help eather. Is this a bug or is it so, that this rom just simply does not support the slider button?
Edit: Wanted to add that I switched to this rom just today and am still tweaking it to my liking.

Alert slider was an addition from a lineageos repo that cosmic didn't update at all for Oreo so I had to remove it for a while
You can expect it to be back in the next builds

Ok, thank you for your swift answer! But damn, I like /use the slider often enough this to be a major shortcoming of the ROM. Everything else seems good (or better than my previous ROM). So I think I'll have to come back for this an other time when (or if) the physical slider works..

Haha, I would, but after flashing this rom I can't flash anything else in TWRP. It says that internal memory is 0. Tried to fix this by changing the memory file type and by reflashing newest TWRP through adb, but no luck..! Actually, after changing file type I can see see the internal memory, but every time I reboot the phone I have to initialize it from the scratch and it goes back to 0 (in TWRP, otherwise memory is accessible through the phone. So I can put the new rom an gapps, but twrp wont see them)
---------- Post added at 06:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:58 PM ----------
So, can I flash the new rom through adb or some other way, coz the rom wont let me use the TWRP..
Or is there a way to enable otg without TWRP(coz i can't root throug there) so I could flash a new rom from a flash drive?
No SIM detected
My problem is kind of strange, No SIM is detect but I get LTE connection and can connect to internet, can send sms, invoming calls are working.... The big problem SIM is not detected so I can't make calls.

I updated the first post. Please read it again
Well, thanks, but I kinda got the phone to work properly already. Just had to factory reset everything, then move a rom(and gapps) from computer (via the usb cable BEFORE rebooting the phone and initializing the rom) to the phone and flash it. The thing is, that I had to flash another rom than this (went with AEX) for this to work and I am not touching this rom even with a long stick (we have this saying in Finland; meaning I'm keeping away from this, if it was not clear..) for a while(I will be back, when I forget this debacle), coz it cost me 24h hardship in agonizin over the fix (I am really not that good with this technical stuff) and good 30€ (well, it will be 20€, coz one cable I can return) money in me trying to buy a proper otg-cable and usb-C adapter. Not to mention the factory reset in itself; haven't had to do this while changing roms since 5 years ago with Huawei u8800.
---------- Post added at 08:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:15 PM ----------
Though I would be grateful, if you could tell which camera app your rom is using, coz that worked great while AEX keeps taking dark photos using flash...

Btw the fact that an unofficial build of twrp would be needed was already mentioned in the thread. It just wasn't on the top of the opening post. It's not my problem if you didn't read
This ROM uses disk quotas to calculate space used by each app more efficiently. Doing so requires a conversion of your /data partition. Android handles this automatically at boot but twrp needs to be recompiled to support this

I wasn't blaming you. The first few lines in every rom are warnings and it's alwys instller's fault if something goes wrong! You have used your precious time to give this for us for free! I'm just frustrated, that it took me this long to untangle this mess. Actually, this (the fact that it was mentioned) explains why I didn't find anything in the thread; me being the only dumbass to install it without reding...
Bdw, this custom twrp, does it work only with this rom, or is it viable to use with the othes that are out there as well? I mean, I'm actually not all that crazy about AEX and liked your rom better, just don't want all the hassle in case I forget I have unofichial twrp installed next time I change roms. ...and you fixed the alert slider, which I actully want to test...
Edit: I have to correct myself here: I'm liking AEX more and more, tweaking it around to my liking. Had to mention to not to badmouth it.

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all, Harry's Patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on the telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward to people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something I picked up while playing a game.

ROM
1) You need to have a custom recovery installed (TWRP recommended)
2) Download the latest StagOS Build and gapps.
3) Boot into recovery
4) Perform a wipe and wipe/system and Dalvik cache as a precaution
5) Flash StagOS zip & Gapps package(Optional)
6) Flash Magisk Root(Optional)
Whatever Features you find in the first build there's no guarantee that they will carry on to the subsequent builds.
As features help only to boast, and this ROM over here is not only meant for that. We want you to boast but not by the features, We want you to fall in love with the touch. So here I'll be adding up the features that I intend on adding/removing. we are starting off with many features just to find out what you like/what you don't.
To Add
-Nothing for Now-
To Remove(Your opinion will matter for this)
- Decreasing the amount of q style customization (Way too odd)
To Edit
-
There's a huge list here

If it's Your First Time flashing a Treble ROM/ coming from ZUI /Never flashed factory2vendor , you are good to go
If you are coming from treble ROMs with /factory renamed as /vendor (old treble ROMs) , then needs this :
•
Vendor2factory
•
Trble TWRP with /factory support
Steps to follow
1. Flash Vendor2factory zip
2. Flash new TWRP
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Flash new build
•USERS SHOULD MIGRATE TO /FACTORY Supported new TWRP else you get error 7
In case of Custom Kernels ; old ones are no longer supported , those will kick out you to fastboot,
which are updated recently with /factory are usable

Review
I hav been uaing this rom from last night and i clean flashed it erasing phone internal storage as well...
Pros
Good amount of customizations
Unique theming options
Good stability
No app crashes or anything of that sort
My favorite rounded corners option is here
No problem with volte
Sound gain option in kernel manager
Lawnchair as default launcher
Promising battery backup..need more time for testing
No heating in my usage time or while charging...i didnt game though
Cons
Little bit ui stutters here and there nothing major..this could get fixed after some days.
While i was using phone after first boot it suddenly turned screen of and locked it...it didnt happen again though
Definately worth flashing guys its quite a very different rom out of the bunch out there....
Hope to see more improvements on speed in coming builds..awsome work by dev..:good:

maybe because these 3.18 kernel based roms are in permissive mode. try switching to permissive and check if it works.

For dolby to work you need to flash two magisk modules which are inside the download section of magisk manager
First flash
audio modification library
Then flash
Audio compatibility patch
Then reboot it should work
Even if doesn't work u need to change se linux to permissive using selinux mode changer
Use latest dolby digital plus v6.5
