Please help me with the step by step guide to root my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G / SNAPDRAGON 855 / MODEL: SM-N976Q.
I am new to Samsung, but used to do it in my HTC before.
A help to a newbie will be much appreciated.
It isn't possible right now (and probably for the future). The bootloaders are locked down tight for Snapdragon processors. Currently you can only root phones with Exynos processors.

Thank you for your clarification. :good:
Can you tell me or direct me on how to install twrp and root my sm-n976n with bootloader already unlocked ??
You can root your phone bro
My note 10+'s bootloader can be unlocked and probably most of japanese samsung phones, they come with snapdragon processors. I had my s9+ bootloader unlocked and rooted on the latest firmware

Yea, I was wrong. The non-US models with Snapdragon processors seem to be root able.

Enable developer settings, then enable OEM UNLOCK. This will unlock the bootloader.
Then you can flash everything with odin3
Can I relock boatloader
If so, can I follow the exynos root steps posted on the Guides forums?
Seriously considering switching from the V50 5G if root is capable.

If you mean the US version, then no, its snapdragon.

Yes as usual the Korean version and European versions are Exynos. I'm writing this from a Korean version.

We have working root but I haven't yet. Been trying to get Samsung Pay working with some APK tomfoolery to try it out but I may give up and just get back to business (root, system-wide ad blocking, create Tmobile CSC patch)
I'm just wondering (and forgive me if this has been answered) will there be any lovely roms for our devices?
is the B variant Exynos or Snapdragon? If Exynos looks like Dr. Ketan already has one for you.
If Snapdragon... you may be waiting a while.

We're Exynos variant. The rom that he created isn't for my version..unless it can be flashed upon it?
I think the B model is for 5G devices

ah so the 'international' LTE-only is F, and the 5g version is B?
I only know that my Korean 5g model is N976N , but no idea what the LTE-only equivalent is there.

No root for ANY phones with a Snapdragon processor. Only Exynos processors.

The Hong Kong variant is a snapdragon and it can be rooted. The Sprint 5G version can also be rooted and it too has a snapdragon processor.

Sadly Any model phone that ends with a U and U1 can't be rooted because bootloader is locked, only Snapdragon variant that can be rooted is the Chinese version they end with a 0 (zero) like SM-9750 or s9+ SM-G9650
Hey guys, I am planning to change my Exynos S10+ for a the HK/Chinese Snapdragon version SM-N9750.
I wanted to ask you if this version the bootloader can be unlocked, I am only looking to unlock it to flash updates manually when they come out, not for rooting.
Looking for your answers.
Thanks

Hello,
I have a SM-N9750 (HK) and yes you can toggle the unlock bootloader option. But you don't even need to do that if you're flashing official updates.
