Hello!
I try to activate my eSIM but i receive the error SVR_8.1/4.2. Is anyone who knows what is that mean? I call my carier but the doesn't know that is this error.
My phone is S20 Ultra (SM-G988B/DS) and my carier is Cosmote Greece.

Did you find any solutions to your problem? Currently facing the same issue with you, the same carrier with the s20 ultra.
I call again to cosmote and they told be that the eSIM is not compatible yet with my model. So they change me the esim card back to normal sim card. (Den kseroun ti tous ginete)

I just moved to India, UNLOCKED my phone with gt tools.
Put the sim but no signal, although Jio 4g app shows.
Also when choose to connect to a network manually or automatic a pop up notification says''the sim doesn't allow a connection to this network ''
Any help please, I don't want to buy another phone!
Dose not work even before and with another gsm carrier.

Contact your carrier about WiFi calling, and it looks like you don't have a 4G/LTE signal anyway
my network provider has these options only as the options on my phone menu do not appear. before we had a s8 that worked perfectly
You have an International G960F with UK CSC/Firmware and a Romanian carrier, possible that combination won't work but not sure
and I'm not going to work from here

Can someone just confirm for me that the UK version does indeed take 2 nano sims in the sim card slot..?....Or is it single sim tray not the double version but with esim capability for 2nd line...?

Found the answer on another thread whilst reading and apparently it does
Just have a look on what's on the box. If there's an IMEI 1 & IMEI 2 you have a Dual SIM device.
If you have an additional EID , then the device has also an eSIM support.

my Device is galaxy s20 SCG01 SM-G981J Japanese au handset.
There is no e-sim option in this phone.
but when i search through activity launcher, it shows some activities which can not be launched.
Is there any way to enable esim option thanks....
