screen and case _ Look at my post on 04/04 at 00:44!! Is this for real???

Hi,
first of all does anyone know where i can get a good scree protector and case??
Also .. i have been using my desire today and I have fingerprints on my screen. What is the best way to get my screen clean without scratching it. Has anyone else got this as well?

Microfiber cloths i find are best. I by a pack of 6 kent ones for about £3 from Asda. I normally change the cloth every couple of weeks. I'm in to car detailing and use the same ones when cleaning the inside of my vauxhall astra VXR..

Can you post the link where you bought your Microfiber cloths?

Case and pen
I got my case and i pen that i ordered from Amazon the case fits properly but doesn't offer that much protection but it does the job. The pen that came with it works fine could be better but it works. Pictures are below.

This might be a stupid question but never the less:
The Legend screen cover is hardened glass.
Given the nature of this thread can i then assume that Desire´s screen front is plastic?
Haven´t found the ansver in any of the reviews so far.

Never mind! found the ansver, It´s glass. then why use screen protectors surely they´ll attrack fingerprints as well?

However, click on the link you have put on ... the case has changed.
And the one that you and I have bought is now £40 more!!

its from the same user, but not exactly the same product, from the pic, the higher price is claimed to be leather, "real leather" so thats why its higher IMO

I would say none of us buy it... 45 pounds is a lot of money for a... case... even be it for the HTC desire... so the price will definitely go down in the next few weeks to a more normal £8-9 pounds for a real leather case.

So the tip of the phone stays out I assume! I don't know how comfortable it is to slide it in and out of this case, but I don't like it, looks like it can scratch the phone from both sides with the edge of the opening.
Anyway, I've used a case with the Hero from Clove, and it's so practical and protective of the phone. A similar one for the Nexus One can be found here.
It should work for the Desire i think.

dunno why the price has jumped up so high, i dunno if it's a mistake, or it is real leather and they accidentally put the price low.

If you've moved onto a desire from a G1 like i have, the soft pouch that comes with the G1 is a great fit for the desire.

Just got these screen protectors and they arn't very good, seconds after i put it on there was scratches on there and its very thin.

Unfortunately the new one on the Korean site isn't on zenuscase.net yet, it's a different version. I too would like to know where to buy this new Block Folio on the Korean site, it's amazing and exactly what I was looking for.

You're actually getting synthetic leather for real leather price? Okay, not quite, I had to check the folio case again, $25-$30 calculating inflation. A bit surreal in favor of a design but I suppose coming from Korea is better than alike cases from China. Boy do those stink, literally!
For me, the new design's elastic band closure is a fail already. Short term expectancy fine, however long term is not suitable. I've had my eyes on a Zenus real leather classic diary case myself, and contacted a seller on ebay for a discount 'cause I'm getting one w/ a few other items on her e-store. She agreed and gave me -9% off (Zenus' site) everything shipped from Seoul.
So I'm pretty sure the case you want will show up on ebay eventually. Do you have the patience for it? You know a lot more are coming out when AT&T launches their release, right?
You could take this opportunity and befriend a Korean ahjumma at church or Korean supermarket, and probably get this even sooner. LOL! I'm thinking outloud to a scene what I will do if I'm in a rush for one of these puppies.

Have you found any other photo of the case? For example how it looks open, the back cover etc.

The only site with photos right now is the Korean Zenus site. Can't find any reviews of this new Block Folio case either. There is a youtube video which showcases how it opens and looks (located on Korean site). But as the user above me incorrectly posted, this Block Folio is NOT yet available through eBay.
I sent a customer service email to Zenus requesting additional information regarding the new Block Folio and it's availibility outside of Korea...I will share my response here when I receive it.

Ordered mine just now. I think it's a bug for the color selection they have "Real Black.Fierce Red" listed as one color option. During the checkout of both the site and PayPal, I put under the notes that I prefer Real Black. I also replied to the customer service agent from Zenus and let him know of the web error to help ensure the color preference of my order.
You can dog the synthetic leather or the poly bottom casing, but its a fine case for $29. The folio I've been waiting for.
Btw, tried dealing with Noreve as a substitute...they suck. Worst customer support on the planet.

For use as a tablet and for use with a Bluetooth headset; but how the heck would you ever use it as a phone (say headphone dropped connection) with this case?

With case closed it still has a cutout for the speaker. Both mics are uninhibited when closed as well. Just got this. A Sennheiser VMX 200. And a Freedom Pro BT keyboard. Excited

Thanks! I just ordered one of these as well. I already have their two genuine leather cases (carbon and vintage) but they both have magnetic clasps and I am starting to wonder how they might affect this device. Looking forward to going magnet-free with this case.

I was thinking of upgrading to either the jawbone era or the vmx 200. How do you like it? Does the bluetooth 3.0 actually make any difference in real life use?

I will let you know Wednesday when the VMX 200 arrives. But from what I've read and seen you can expect incredibly fast power on to pair times as well as what should be improved battery life.

This is a stupid question but here goes... does anyone know if you can flip the front of the case around the back? Seems like a given, but the only pictures show it either closed, open on a flat surface, or open used as a stand. None of them show the case folded fully around the back...

It's perfectly designed in my opinion. I don't think one will find a better case. Much better than Samsung's case.
Since I purchased several items before from Noreve, they gave me a special certificate and I got a $23.00 discount. It only cost me AUD $70.00.
I will mostly likely sell my ROCK case !

How do you like the Rock Case? Any good? What about the insides? Any chance it will scratch up the finish of the Note because the edges don't look very soft.
Also, does it hold on nice and tight? I noticed there is a strap on the back; how exactly do you get it to wrap around the front? Couldn't find any videos for it.
What color is yours? I'd be interested in picking it up if you can ship overseas.

I was actually planning on buying one for myself, but now that I've checked out the pictures on their website, I'm not that impressed. Their case for Galaxy Tab 2 seemed a bit more premium than this, in my view...

It hasn't arrived yet. Should be here any day now.
I believe the strap is made of some sort of elastic as a photo shows it being wrapped around the case on their ebay sites.
I got the grey coloured one. I'll report back about your concerns about the possibility of scratches on the device.

Yes, I'll post some pictures when it arrives. But the site says that it is not due until the 13th.
Didn't see the Tab one. But I haven't really seen anything better that's real leather and is designed with all the important design features that are really important to me.

The biggest thing going for the Noreve IMO, besides the fantastic quality is the all around protection it offers the device around the bezel area. Most of the other cases that look good seem to just cover the device at the corners.

I was waiting for the Samsung case but could not resist this case, it really does look awesome. I noticed on the site that they had two styles but I chose the one on the Op's link as I did not want one with a magnetic fastener.
The site advised that they manufacture/hand make it within 14 days. I ordered the dark brown one, they call it Châtaigne.
I really hope I won't be disappointed with this case.

I just ordered the sable vintage version of the case linked in the OP's post. I was thinking I'd order the Zenu case, but as it's not yhet available, and I wasn't overly keen on the embossing all over it, I think this one will do the trick.

It's the "exception" selection, second one along.
If you click on it and expand have a look at the opened page, there's some examples of each styles with review pages. I looked at the one for the Sable Vintage section by tabletpccorner.net (would post the link but I can't post links yet - too new...). The photos in this review "sold" me on the look.

Cloudtail is a genuine retailer...
I've ordered 2 oneplus 2's (which were in the beginning, only sold by cloudtail as an official retailer) and also a swapstyle cover (kevlar) a year ago, a USB type-c to micro USB adapter, 2 tempered glass protectors..... All from cloudtail on Amazon and everything was fine and all the products were satisfactory
I guess they're selling the leftovers and want to clear their stock so they are selling it for cheap(as it's been more than year since the release of OPT) + amazon's great Indian sale is on....

please get your source checked. you might be getting stuff from wrong retailer. cloudtail is a genuine retailer for oneplus products.

Sorry, they are out of stock now. If you really need it so badly, check for it on quikr/olx. I'm sure people will sell it for an extra 50/100 bucks. I've got rosewood and kevlar.

From 17 oct, amazon has started another sale.
Yesterday night, kevlar and Rosewood were available for 199 as lighting deals.
I got another rosewood for my friend.
Now they are back to 299/399.
Still a massive steal considering their MRP of 1699.

-Premium screen protector - I thought this was the glass version dangit (Again, ya'll guys bought truckloads of the Tempered Glass LOL)

Not fancy the midnight one? Carphone warehouse also stock the cases, but you'll need to search on Google for Google Pixel 2XL fabric case as if you try and find them on the website you can only find the smaller cases.

Thanks for your offer, but the shipping costs to UK would make it too expensive.
It's currently £28 in UK (approx 37.78 USD) They're also currently 35USD on Google's store in US .
I'm looking for either someone in the UK, or a UK store that still has stock.

I would also like to order the cement one for the non XL Pixel 2 I'm in Portugal, though. If someone find a link not expensive please share

Thanks, I just bought a used one on ebay for 20 euros.
How is it regarding being slippery and getting stains?

I'm also interested about sliperiness (is that even a word? Not my native language).

I find the grip to be perfect. I have the Cement and it picks up the dye from my jeans pretty easily, but I like the look of it after it's done so. I got a black spot on it so I washed it with some soap and hot water and let it air dry. It looked brand new again until I put it back in my pocket.

I'm seriously thinking about returning my fabric case, I feel that the phone its more slippery than without it!

That's a shame.
I've bought that one as well, used on ebay, let's hope I don't feel that way also. I'm using the Ringke Fusion Clear TPU Case and it's a very good TPU Case, lots of grip and protection and only costs 12 bucks. But it sure dosent look as premium as the Google fabric ones...

So far so good. It's less slick than a naked phone, but not super grippy.

But the looks and feel make up for it, right? Otherwise I'll stick with my Ringke Fusion Clear TPU Case, which I am loving so far.

I don't know why this case is so expensive, but it's a nice case. I got the carbon one and don't find it slippery...
