Any project developments being made? - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

This is an old device, people made custom roms and etc for it.
I have a Tablet 3 10.1 with the LineageOS rom from XDA.
This device has a lot of possibilities, many developers can make fun and creative features/mods for this tablet. Are there any developers? Anyone working on something for this tablet in 2020?

How does one become part of a ROM project?

I am a computer science graduate that is looking to work on an existing ROM project in my spare time (ideally a popular one like CM10). How would I go about this? I don't mind starting small (doing code reviews and such), but I would like to be able to work up to actually submitting fixes and being part of a 'team'.
I don't have any specific Android development experience, but I know Java well and use it every day at my job. I am just not currently a part of any code projects in my spare time and would love to do something Android related now that I finally have one (would be great to work on an SGH-I747 ROM).
So...is this possible? What steps can I take towards this goal? Or is this a situation like 'you've got a lot to learn before you even think of joining a project'. Again, I have no Android-specific dev experience, but I learn quick and am eager to be a part of the Android development community. I want to be part of an existing team because I feel my strength lies in developing fixes and features, not in designing a ROM from the ground up.
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Your best bet is to get into the Android SDK, learn what you can from it, and I would actually PM some of the dev's and ask them if you can help.

if this is what you feel like you would be good at. Download CM source, compile it, then start fixing things. Then you can submit your patches and/or features to their Gerrit Code Review.

[Q] Are there any developers left?

Specifically to port CyanogenMod, SlimLP etc to our device.
Any AOSP developers left? I can't find any except I know d2att has some gerrit commits in CM 12 but d2tmo has nothing at all. Sad.
All we would need is a port. d2att is almost completely alike to the d2tmo.
I'm sorry. This question gets thrown around in all forum threads after the device gets abandoned but I have a feeling the developers have all gotten new phones and or don't have a d2 anymore. It's been a little over 2 years now, contracts are ending etc. but I think this phone deserves some genuine Android 5.0 love. At least 5.0. Then I'll be happy.
There isn't even an official cm12 yet. You have to give it time, building roms, especially from scratch, takes a lot of work.

LineageOS on Pixel 2 XL

Hey everyone,
I've been wondering, how hard would it to bring a port of LineageOS over to the Pixel 2 XL? I've had some extra time, but I haven't worked too much on porting an OS over to android, especially one that is an unsupported tree directly from LineageOS themselves. Is there any thing that I can go off to try to pull this off? I have some pretty good expertise, but I wanted to hear from other members if this should even be sought after? I'm not sure if I would be the only one to benefit from it or if there would be other members as well. I've noticed that the LineageOS ports so far were for the regular model and not Taiman. I wanted to help change that.
So, does anyone want to share some knowledge? Let's work together and try to make sure that people still have an enjoyable phone that has multiple options for an OS, even if it did come out a while back.

There's a guy named calsurferpunk here who's making unofficial builds of los16 in his spare time. It's in the ROM section.

[Q] Is there no development for the universal9610 board?

I had a mini-search, even after the Samsung released kernel sources for this board still there is no custom ROMs for A50 (A505F). Wondering if developers wants to develop something like Paranoid, Viper or Resurrection Remix for this device or is it hard because on-screen fingerprint scanner on this device? Let me know please ^-^
NOTE THAT: This is NOT bashing any developer to develop something for specific device, asking generously nothing too serious!

Barely anything custom for Galaxy?

Hi folks..
My mind simply has hard time to process why there's almost nothing custom for this Galaxy A71 or any other recent Galaxy phone? It's been already over 9 months A71 is on the market and there is no official TWRP support (neither OrangeFox).. No official custom ROMS like Resurrection Remix, Evolution X and neither LineageOS.. Pls don't count unofficial crap where you have missing basic functionality or decent camera.
I have left Samsung flag-ship world back in 2015 not willing to pay money for the development path they choose.. Anyway, I found shelter with Xiaomi since then and never experienced any deficit for custom made stuff. Now I bought A71 and am stunned with the fact there isn't any motivation to support it.. I have wrote to multiple telegram threads without any answers so asking here.. Is there some blocker from made by Samsung to start supporting Galaxy phones? Or just devs got tired of their sh***t.. Don't get me wrong, I liked Samsung a lot.. and now tried to come back when I got my hands on A71 - hardware wise excellent device but unfortunately will return due to lack of community around. And it isn't just this Galaxy phone - S20s, S10s, Note 20s, 10s.. previos A series...
Thanks for any comments..

Blame Samsung for keep releasing broken kernel source, dev. Can't start if sammy keeps releasing sh*ty broken kernel source, until now 2.0 and 2.1 updates having broken kernel source. There is no other companies in the world that do such stupid thing except Sammy sh*t. Thanks! also we can rewrite the kernel to fix sammy mistakes but it needs a talented and dedicated dev.
Samsung has lost its reputation for being developer friendly long ago. At best you're only going to find some GSI that work on this phone. At worst, you won't find anything at all.
