I am looking for a CM or AOKP (AOSP) rom with the Dock Audio working through the USB port thingy (I know, best technical word ever). I am getting tired of all the bloatware and the look of TouchWiz on my Galaxy Note II. I have the iBolt car dock with the 9' cable which acts like a dock with the audio and charge. Which on of the roms out there are working or do I need to buy a different car dock to get it working. I really don't want to have to connect 2 cables to my phone to listen to my music.

Hi All,
I would like to run my KFHD8.9 through a projector, but the problem is I need separate audio. Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to use the 3.5mm audio jack at the same time as HDMI-out? I know I can get a cable to do micro HDMI -> VGA + audio, but I'd rather avoid the D/A conversion if possible, and I've also heard those adapters don't work so well with the KF.
I see from this thread that it is possible with the Nexus 10, so hoping KFHD works the same way:

I don't have a micro-HDMI cable to test yet, and I don't want to bother getting one if it's not possible.

Have anyone tried out the Fiio E07k Dac/amp with our Lg G pad. For some reasons I cant get this combo to work.
I have The newest dirty unicorn Rom (android 4.4.2 I think) and when i connect my Fiio to the gpad through USB OTG cable it turns off the headphone out from the pad but there is no sound in my Fiio.I have turned of usb charging in the fiio`s settings ( suggested in an audio forum)
I must admit that I have not tested it with stock ROM, but I am wondering if this is a problem with android and Fioo in general, or just a ROM specific problem.
My Dac is based on the Wolfson WM8740. the Usb reciever is TE7022 and Op amps are AD8692 and MX97220

to answer my own question. It must be a ROM thing. Because when I installed a cyanogen based ROM, the dac workded perfect. To bad, because I liked the D.U ROM.
Anybody know if I could use the OTG function to get a stereo 3.5mm mic port on the G3, or on android at all for that matter?
I don't think anyone will know, but you know.. Maybe some of you have an idea. I know about USB audio recorder, but that is for audio interfaces not specifically a USB OTG to 3.5mm stereo mic in port.
Has anyone tried connecting an external mic for recording? I'm going to buy one with a 3.5mm plug and I'm wondering what sort of adapter I will also need.
I use this and it works well. It comes with an adapter and I tried with and without it. The Axon does require the adapter to use this Mic.
