i have a galaxy s plus.
i want to enable the 850 mhz band.
anyone know how?
i have a Galaxy S I9000, i'm supose it's similare:
On y phone, 850Mhz band is desactivated by default.
try on phone keyboard:
*#*#0011#*#*
You must arrive on a menu:
do back and go to Phone controle and Band Selection
Doing this enable band activation on software, if your phone's modem not enable to working with this band, the result is it's not working with the band frequency anyway...
I'm try this for enable USA 3g band on my I9000 from europe, and i'm able to activate band, but it's only partialy working (have 2100Mhz 3G (VTR) working with this, but not the 900Mhz/1900Mhz band used here by Movistar(Chile) for 3G.
it does not work. i see the menu but when i press
back, i do not get anywhere
My RAT selection is restricted anyone know how to unlock that?
I had to use the hidden menu in order to connect to LTE only, band 20. However, when switching back, it will now only connect to band 20 and no others, such as band 7. Is there any way of reversing this? Like removing the specific band allowing it to connect to any?
Many thanks.
Is there any way we can figure out a way to force band switching?
What's the process to be able to lock LTE/5G bands on this phone?
TIA
