My brother bought new Z2 force and wants me to install latest pie gsi. Can someone give me a step by step guide from unlocking bootloader to flashing the gsi. Please help me out. Also share the fix files if u can.
Make sure your on Android 8 before doing anything if not do it after unlocking the boot loader.
Follow xt1789-05 guide for unlocking bootloader.
The guide to getting excited lineage pie is on the linage thread in ROMs section your have to look through the posts it's in there somewhere.

Unlock the bootloader Install the LineageOS (15.1 will work). It will rename the OEM Partition as Vendor. Now you are ready to Install any GSI Rom :fingers-crossed:

cool i have flashed the lineage 15.1, do the gsi's have any bugs for z2 force? Like volte, camera, or anything else. Please tell if you have clue

I have not tested any GSI yet to be correct i have not unlocked my device :silly:
Install the LineageOS 16.0 from AFH (test builds)

NFC aren't working on any GSI's
Greetings developers, someone of you can help me with the following problem, I can not install the rom AOSP the TWRP does not mark me any problem simply installs but when starting it restarts constantly without going through the restart, like the rom AOEX rom Validus, however I can install the rom Xperience, DotOs, RRemix and the Stock without any problem, you know why that happens, my device is a Moto Z Play XT1635-02.

If I am using a TWRP of treble, however as i say that if installing an AOSP ROM with Android 9 or 8.1 does not pass from the logo and restarts, but if you install the Rom Xperience. 8.1 If run without problems, but the same Rom Xperience. 13 (Android P) does not run, I have tried with the DPI images and do not correrily

do a backup of your files (if you are installing xpe you need a Treble supported TWRP) in xpe 13 maybe you need to do a format data (idk why but some users have a weird bug and only can be fixed if you do a format data
so do a format data from TWRP wipe-->format data-> write yes do a swipe reboot to recovery
copy all your files the rom , install it and enjoy!
if you are installing AOSP you should use twrp from alberto

Format system and reinstall PE. That should get rid of the camera app. Don't format data though.

Nope i don't have that much time.General problem is FP don't work in all GSI

So for me, I had a lot of lag after using video apps such as Netflix or YouTube. Do you know if this issue still persist on the android 10 ROM? I don't care about the fp (it's crap), but face unlock would be nice

I checked the link,only blissrom was with key.I fixed,other links are direct links.If you whant some rom t dawnload and you can't for any reason just pm i will help you my frend

Magisk won't stick (applies in TWRP successfully but app after boot shows not installed for kernel module). Also, fingerprint not working (though thats the case with all custom ROMs right now) and MTP File sharing is broken.

For twrp patched whit magisk i don't know,because i didn't flashed.I just waiting to be more stable.For MTP i know that we have wonderful devs like geiti84 and zvox.geiti84 its aware for problem whit MTP and is working t fix that problem.For FP sensor i asked Phhuson and maybe next Android 10 realise this will be fixed.And yes all custom Gsi have FP sensor problem

I've tried it and it works for the most part. Camera, LED Flash, Bluetooth, Rotation, WiFi, Calls, Data, Audio. MTP for some reason does not seem to work. Gestures work but there is no nav bar on bootup. There is network but the signal bar shows empty. Fingerprint sensor does not work. There is a bit of lag when opening apps for the first time but they do ok afterwards. Gonna do some more testing and gather logs and see what I can fix on my own.
