Add call button is hidden behind three dot menu - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

Hi there
I have a question. When i am on a call, add call and hold call options are only accessible thru the three dot menu. On the main call menu, there is a share button but its always greyed out.
Where does this share button come from? I have never seen it on any other galaxy phones i have used before. It should be and have been add call button instead of it.
Is it the same on your phone?
Galaxy note 10+ 5g
Uk unlocked version on android 10
Thanks.

ATT Tilt Call history shortcut when you press send button

I was wanting to know if there was a way to make it to where when I press my send button, that the call history screen comes up instead of the last call I made.. is there anyway to do that?
Also, on the bottom of my tilt screen it shows on the left side Calendar button and on the right side Contacts button.. can I change those at all?
I want to change the one on the left to messages and the one on the right to call history or speed dial or something

How do you make to show up the contacts on phone screen instead...?

Hi, anybody know how to make the contacts show up on the phone screen instead of the call history?
When I press the contacts softkey at the right bottom of the phone screen it doesn't do nothing.
Also, what is the function of the button left side of the Talk button on the phone screen?
Using a tilt2 on stock rom so no clue if you have the same setup.
When I hit contacts (bottom left for me) it works fine. The button to the left of talk for me is the call history. Asusmign they are reversed between the tilt2 and whichever version you are using, the Button on the right of talk (toggle with a head and a bunch of little heads around it) is the conference call button for me.
I have the Tilt 2. Does two softkey I mention on the phone screen doesn't work when I press it. It is only showing the phone pad and the call history.

Phone key pad not re-displaying

I have a google unlocked galaxy nexus phone with JB installed. Sometimes when making a phone call using the dial pad, the display will not turn back on when removed from my ear. Today I was on a call and needed to use the keypad and all I had was a blank display. Nothing I did could get it to display. I had to remove the battery to end the call. Sometimes this happens and all I have to do is tap the power button to bring up the display. Is this a known problem? Is there a setting that I can adjust? Thanks.
Hi jjthenovice,
did you find a solution for this behaviour - I posted a similar experience, but so far nobody responded to my post.
Having the power button set up to end the call is A solution - but not a very good one.

HTC 10 Nougat Menu Button?

Hi, i just updated my phone to Nougat, and i miss the feature of long pressing the recent apps button that gives me a menu button (MM feature?). Is it possible to activate that again? It seems to be replaced with split window feature. In addition, in the display settings, in the buttons section enables the menu button. Does that only show the menu (three dots) button on apps only? (has nothing to do with the capacitive buttons on the phone?)
Thank you for reading this, look forward to a reply
Before Nougat:
Choose from the options: Always open recent apps. Press for menu, press and hold for recent apps. Press for recent apps, press and hold for menu.
After Update:
Display options - buttons- menu button
holding the button on the right to open up split screen is a feature of nougat.
I knew of the feature to hold the button down to bring up a menu, but im guessing it wasnt widely utilised, hence its removal.
There may be a way, using root, to change what the button does, but I wouldnt know how. Someone else probably does though.

Click to collapse
Hey thats a bummer, i loved that feature! i not really fond of the split screen feature, its not really that useful to me.
Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully, ill flash a custom rom on this phone soon.
This is bull****! They could at least give us a choice of choosing what does the button do. Now I will have to install a custom rom to get back that menu button
Can someone who has a Twitter account describe this menu button issue to Graham Wheeler or Mo Versi ?
We`ll get a better chance of them fixing it then.

Screen Capture does not work with the power and volume down buttons

I don't know if there is that have changed for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra but I am not able to capture the screen of my mobile phone. If I hold the power button it goes to the power off screen (as I have configure the side keays). But if I hold power + volume down buttons, it goes the same way (power off screen). The volume down button works properly using it alone. Is there any change on the Note 20 Ultra to capture screen by buttons? Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year all
I've just used volume - with power and screen captured with no issues on latest ui3 official Three UK

Thanks for your help! I found my mistake in other forum. I just post it, just in case it happend to anyone else. I tried to hold both buttons, power + volume down. But I shouldn't hold them, just push then quickly. That didn't happen that way in my old S10
Happy New Year!
There is another option that my better half like to use to take screenshots. You can use your palm and swipe from the left edge to the right edge.
Its the option in Settings -> Advance Features - > Motion and gestures -> Palm swipe to capture
Thank you. I just registered for saying this.
I was trying to get a screenshot with my new Samsung Galaxy M23 for quite some time, with no avail.
Just clicking and letting go, not continuing to press solved it.
