There is no major different between those two, International Global and Region Global.
Region rom only affects some apps content and some adjustment for region regulations. No different in perfomances what so ever.

What about miui mail and store? only on China version?
Do the Indian version also comes with Play store like the golbal version?
Indian and indonesian Rom are the same? have the same apps, options and support?
i have the Global version, i would like to have all the option available, not losing funtionality ( like wifi calling). it seems there is no major changes though ( stability, performance, battery drain, etc)
i would like to change to a version with -miui stock apps (and OTA updates for those apps and system) and with Play store and choose which goolgle app i'm going to use. i heard that Stock dial and messanger have more options and theme support, but not sure if it's worth the time.
I switched from Global to Indonesia...and I am very happy !

I am eager tho buy note 5 china as i am on tight budget but i want to know that ..As global fastboot firmware is available now for note 5 . So do that firmware will work on the china version ?
As the global and china version doesn't have any specification difference (else only band 20).
So, Did somebody tried flashing the official global firmware ?
Do that work ?
In my openion, Pro version has different camera that was the cause of camera problem on that firmware. But official global version of note 5 is same as the china version .so,firmware should work.

As you said, there is no difference between China and Global version devices (only band 20). You can flash the global fastboot ROM without issue
But TAKE A BACKUP before doing anything !
Redmi note5pro and global are known as redmi note 5 in china
The rom is compatible am using Chinese rom in indian redmi note5 pro device

I flashed the Global leaked MIUI which was based on Oreo and my device is Redmi Note 5 AI (China). I didn't face any problems at all. You can try but always have backup in TWRP.

That leak has the rom for the pro(indian) version as pro is mentioned in the file name.
the leaked 8.1 global fastboot rom is now available. Working like charm.
That's what wanted.

My brother has a 3/32 global Note 5 AI and now I want to buy a Chinese version of Note 5 AI 4/64. So what are the problems with Chinese Rom? I've heard that GPS doesn't work, is it true? and is changing Chinese Rom to global Rom prohibited by Xiaomi now?

China ROM is definitely more smoother, but global rom has everything set up for you with gapps

This is really confusing.. looks like choosing Chinese version would be a bad decision.

i saw a post on mi forum that you cant use global rom on china device and viceversa and in here some say you can.
example when i wanted to update stock apps the changelog was in chinesse. many apps in chinesse.. i went straight back to global.
is better to get global vversion.
Hi all. Does anyone could explain me the difference between the two firmware.
On xiaomifirmwareupdater.com there are both of them, but I haven't found what is the difference?
May I install a China fw on a global device or I will brick it?.
Tnx
It's safe to flash it. Xiaomi EU uses the China Beta ROMs and Globalized them to include other languages that would be in a Normal Global beta rom from Xiaomi...so with that being said I feel it's safe because if Xiaomi EU and Miroom uses the China Beta as their base then I assume that you flashing just the firmware will not brick your device.

Have you any idea where to find the differences?
Unfortunately not at the moment but I will look into it and get back to you if I find something.
There's already Chinese Edition of iQoo 3 6/128 GB available in Bangladesh. The Indian Edition is not but may be available soon. As there is no 5G available in Bangladesh both Indian and Chinese editions will perform the same.
I'm anxious about the performance of the Chinese ROM as I heard that, different payment applications do not work properly in Chinese ROM of Xiaomi and Realme smartphones.
So, should I go for the Chinese ROM edition or wait for the Indian Edition ?? I want the best possible android experience from iQoo 3.
hey man do not buy this **** phone or nstead of this go for xiaomi pocofone f2

Thank you for your opinion. But first of all, Poco F2 Pro still isn't available in Bangladesh and secondly, I don't like pop up camera. Thirdly, an extra AI button is important to me. That's why I chose IQOO 3

Negative. I haven’t been able to get my hands on an IQoo 3 because of COVID-19. Later purchased a Realme X2Pro.
So my redmi note 8 pro was a Chinese variant on which I installed the global rom and now I want to switch to EU rom. Can I install the EU rom through MI flash tool just how I flashed global rom? Or does EU rom require custom recovery?

They said EU rom usually they talk about custom Miui rom, not EU global one. And EU custom don't support this device long time ago. EU Global one is nearly same with Global rom. So i suggest you should use Indo rom or India rom (No NFC) and Miui mod by Santoshhh for Gapps and Miui dialer. You can also use China, China beta and flash Gapps. And if you dont need Miui features, you can flash other custom roms for Battery backup or Performance or Customization.
