->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.

->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

Confirm this rom is working flawless-y with Dragonheart kernel DragonHeart-daisy-20191001-v5-BB-vendor + magisk
Very responsive but I prefer the new navbar than the old one.
But I am forever grateful for two things you did for this rom :highfive::
+ Working Google Assistance with Voice match (all other roms I use failed to active voice match every single time I tried to active it even with built in gapps)
+ Google Keyboard :good:

can i use this with the latest nitrogen kernel ?
and does it support pixel features ? like record with transcript and live wallpapers ,,,etc ?

I know that clean flash is recommended... but can I dirty flash this over aex4.4? My zenmax is currently used by my father and it contains many important data as he is a govt worker..so I can't really clean flash it...

Technically it should work, but there is a little bit risk, backup your data first then do drity flash .

No problem till now. Just wanna let you know, but make sure to backup fisrt just in case something wrong happen.

Hi, I'd like to confirm crackling audio issue. I get it while notifications come on the phone immediately after unlock / wake from sleep.
Also, facing frequent disconnections of Bluetooth on Android Auto while inside the car and connected to the headunit. No other device of mine has this particular issue. There is also a fair bit of stutter while playing FLAC audio both via Pulsar and Poweramp. Need logs?

Don't wipe internal memory and SD card and use titanium backup pro to backup app+app data...so that you can restore them after clean flash

Does this rom supports sd 615 msm8939?
And does the camera video recording work with 3rd party apps like snapchat, instagram?
I am not able to find roms for 615, and the ones from 4pda have this bug...

I did tried flashing and :
1.gave me assertion error,
2.removed the assert lines from updater script and flashed, rom did flashed but then bootlogo appears and then screen turns off...
(Device is Z010DD and not Z010D)

1. maybe you are using old version of recovery, update that.
2. there is some fix file to boot sd615 (Z010DD) (join our device group on telegram to get that)

Clean install is always reccomended
Since now I will ship AEX with 4.4 kernel
If you encounter a blue screen after flash new build, it means your bootloader is outdated, flash newer zui with qfil

How to flash treble roms having /factory instead of /vendor?
* First time custom rom flasher/ coming from ZUI / Never flashed treble rom / Never flashed factory2vendor patch
1. Flash Treble TWRP ( which supports /factory )

I've tried AEX 23rd Aug build and it just blew me away. Right from the smoothness of the ui to the app opening speed, everything makes AEX that much special. Obviously the rom at this stage lacks customization but I've got no complaints. P was just released few weeks ago and here we are with an almost stable build. Can someone please help me regarding the GApps? I couldn't find a link in the OP. So I checked out other Android 9 ROMs for our device and got "MindTheGapps-9.0.0-Unofficial-arm64-20180818.zip" from the Nitrogen OS thread. Will this work?

->Rom is based on AOSP. Verison is updated monthly.
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

Here is the fix for installing magisk zip rebooting the recovery
1. First Take A Backup Of Boot From TWRP (In Case If Anything Goes Wrong)
2. Reboot to system
3. Extract The Boot.img File From The Rom Zip
4. Install Magisk Manager App & Open The App
5. Then Click Install & Choose Patch Boot File
6. Then Choose The Boot.img File Which You Extracted Previously & Wait Until The Process Complete
7. Now Boot To TWRP Again & Go To Install>Install img
8. Then Choose The Patched_Boot.img File & Flash On Boot Partition
9. Hit Reboot & Enjoy:good:

After doing a clean flash still Audio is not working on asus z011d z00t.,flashing the audiofix for oreo base rom result into bootloop.,

Is it bacause i am delusional i am seeing volte in te screenshots? is the volte supported? if not can i flash the the modem from official firmware to make it work?

Stock camera replaced with gcam.
Update...
Camera crash after 3rd reboot. But can be fixed by wiping cache & dalvik from twrp.
If I reeboot my device again, it got crash again.

Use magiskHide props config. Make sure you read the description first. Need to install busybox as well and use terminal.

Also, if someone could share a link or something like 'how to flash custom rom...' for android 10 would be helpful.. i know this isn't the place for asking this but help a brother out.. please.. thanks.. ???

This is the way for doing so

This is an initial build so lack of features and customizations, so need to wait for further builds. Although the rom is super smooth.
