I have been facing some weird problem when playing NBA live mobile.
I think it is FPS issues.
To give a more clear example, its like playing triple A games on an computer without graphics.
Tried fnatic mode as well but still the same.
The game doesnt have reduce video quality options and TBH i can play it on my old huawei entry phone quite well.

So these are two separate issues. One is general and the other more specific hoping for help on both.
1. Whenever I play music on my phone (no matter the app, i.e stock, mixzing, doubletwist, etc) I also get a laggy music/choppy. I am running ATK and I am closing everything and when I do I usuallt get 160-200 MB of RAM left. I still get the lag. Yes I turn my phone off/on occasionally, and yes my screen is off. It is really annoying to try to relax after a stressful day and your music chops up on you.

2. Trying to play a certain anime on my phone but oddly enough it isn't playing right. It is a subbed MKV...but before you start let me just say, that I have watched other subbes MKV's with RockPlayer just fine. But no matter how many times I download the file or get a different version (MKV but bigger or small res or MB) it still with lag. Some will not play it will just freeze, some will be really out of sync. I eventually got it to "work" by using a pogram to turn it into a mp4 and then tell Mobo Player to play it with Soft-decoding.
Are there any apps that would play the mkv better? So far i have tried rockplayer, qqplayer, and moboplayer. Also what are the best settings to use Hand Brake with? Or is there a better program for Evo?
any help? I am still having the issue.
I want to know if im playing this and i receive a call, will the game end and will i have ro restart if i haven't saved, or i can resume the app after the call ends.
i want to know it for this 4 applications:
1) .emu emulators with autosave turned off (nes.emu md.emu snes9x ex).
2) fpse playstation emulator.
3) scummvm
4) android games
If I get a phone call during playing games like Shadowgun, GTA 3 the highly intense graphical games just say during loading screens would the phone be able to hack recieving a call ? or would it freeze ?
The only one I know would work is 2) FPSE
Any one knows about the other apps?
From what I have seen, almost everything I have on my phone just stays in memory when I get a call. All my emulators and games just pause when the call comes in, and other app's do the same, so I think its safe to say your not going to lose anything in the middle of a game.
If your really worried just pop your phone onto aeroplane mode and you wont get any calls, lol.

I am an online gamer, console gamer, any gamer you might think of and Xplay does it job it pretty well in "freezing" the game you are playing when you are receiving a standard call or a call through wifi (apps like Viber, YM messenger, skype, etc.). You can still resume playing after the call.
Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi all,
I've just recently purchase a Surface RT, am still getting use to Win RT environment.
There is a slight issue, is there anyway to fix the audio lag issue?
I've tried playing 1080p videos, 720p videos (WMV, MKV, MP4) without any lag using mobile.HD. But when I switched on the subs, the audio lags behind for 5, 6 seconds. I've used the performance tips given by the Internet (disable windefender, disable animations, and stuff), nothing seems to be working.
Anyone has the same problem? Or ways to solve it?
Sounds like an app problem more than anything else. I've never tried, so I can't suggest anything better, but it's been a common discussion thread here.
I've gone through any available thread on the internet with regards to the issue, seems that no one has replied to this particular issue. I've tried many players, none of them works without the audio lag. Guess will have to wait till VLC is released.
On the plus side, that *is* coming, sometime... so there will be that, at least.
why when my XM playing some games (ex: NFS) sometimes got a skip frame? its happened sometime, but overall the game played no lag
anyone have a solution??

try going to developer settings in your mobile and "enable force 4x MSAA"
My tablet (sgh-i467) has been experiencing performance issues with Hulu and Hulu only. My father has the same exact tablet and when we play the same video on Hulu, his is smooth and mine is choppy. Every other video playing app, Crunchyroll, Youtube, streaming off of the network, works flawlessly. Troubleshooting so far has not gone very well. I went as far as to perform a factory reset with no positive results what so ever. I am wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot the problem.

Well it looks like his is still on JB and yours updated to KK.
KK is terrible, and LP is gonna be worse... There is nothing you can do to revert back to JB. You can ask to swap tablets after backing up everything.
I have been testing with my cheapo Ebay tablet on KK. Found that Music likes Ondemand, system and normal apps like Pegasus. Some video apps are a mixed bunch, so one way or another will find a good playback. Hulu and Xfinity TV go like Performance with no overlays.
It is not the best, but better than stock kernal settings.
I am finding you can mess with Build.prop, WFDconfig, and capability files, to get better playback as well. Seems like both JB and KK like similar mods with wfd and streaming settings.
Not everything plays well with KK, so take small steps to find out what helps and what does not.
Right now I am playing around with 5000000 on the upper encoding for wfd. Also keeping profiles no higher than 1280x720 ... as many S4 and S5 files floating around push 1920x1080 because of their higher pixel rate. I find audio is safe with higher bit rates as well. Moving from 128000 to 192000 keeps things smooth and a wee higher detail.
Hulu playback stutters, stalls

I also have unwatchable Hulu since updating to KitKat. Thought I could change from Dalvik to Art and/or disable hardware video but I can find neither in Settings.
