Actually i switched from zuk z2 and it's not my primary device but still i want to use it as a secondary Device but a serious issue is happening with the device for a long time and that's why i switched from z2 ....
Actually my z2 automatically turns off in 5-10 seconds and the led glows .... I can boot into recovery but it also stuck after few seconds and led glows .... Phone is totally functional but doesn't stays on....
So it literally become useless and can't be used anymore .. . I guess it's experiencing some kind of hardware failure... Can anyone help me with this issue??

Is battery in good working condition? And if yes try the the whole process of installing stock zui and then back unlocking bootloader, installing custom recovery and rom..

Yes i also tried qfil.... It worked perfectly for a week with stock zui but again got plagued...
And battery capacity was almost 2000 mah while i last checked...

Is it charging in twrp and is the same issue in twrp.as well??
Try a light ROM non treble like cardinal etc and don't use phone .
If it remains on in standby then battery is gone coz under heavy load kernel panic is happening due to low power/voltage from battery..
Go for battery replacement.

Im not even able to flash any rom because it doesn't stays on .... And yes charging is working

Btw i would like to inform you that even my zuk z2s battery life got degraded so bad that any rom i flash, the battery dont last long. In standby mode battery drains to almost 5-6%. Using lineage OS 16 with minimal gapps. But still battery drains like hell. If u hv tried out every thing out there to fix ur device, and still u fails, points to the battery failure. I think our zuk needs a battery replacement. I ll inform u if i found some decent battery for our beloved zuk. The bad thing for me is i hv to replace my speaker too along with my battery as it sounds verry terrible

hey guys,i have been flashingmany roms every week for about 2 months, then I decided to start fresh.
wiped every thing via cwm and then flashed stock rom via odin,then rooted it.
problem is battery is as fast as HELL , and i have sudden drops, e.g. phone shuts down suddenly at 30% or even 50% , and when i connect charger it shows 0%.
tried battery calibration but no good.
I bought a new battery , and my phone still have sudden shutdowns when used for more than 30 minutes.
even offline.
Is my phone damaged ,or it has permanent leak ,even i change batteries?!
plz reply ASAP , and btw i dont have a screenshot cuz i am using stock 2.3.6.
I recommend you to go to a Samsung Costumer Service and ask for help. I think is a hardware issue, not a software issue.
Also, to use screenshot on GB, use Volume down + Home button.

Must be hardware. If the battery change doesn't quite cut it, then its a hardware problem.

You will stay with the same ROM, just a different kernel. So more governors, tweaks etc. You won't notice a difference visually.

Hmm. Might be that your battery is dead?
Try a pristine install of CM11 again, see if that helps.

Sir, I have started using nightlies cm11 on gt n7000 from 2days back, and iam having a bit of battery related problems.. Battery is been drained within few hours only..like 4 to 5 even if my system is sleeping still then its draining quite a lot of battery, rest everything is working fine for me. All the system settings are set to default.. I would really appreciate if you look into this manner. Thankyou

I'm running CM11 Dark (Beta 2) + KhaN Kernel v.1.5 and the battery life is pretty good I'm using Polarcell Akku 1600MAh ordered from ebay for about 10€. BUT if nothing helps and you absolutely want to keep your installation, may be just disconnect the charger for rebooting
i know what are you talknig about, and that's NORMAL: every android phone does like that, if you reboot your device while it's in charge, the calibration charge is messed up, so do NEVER reboot your device so often...if you forced to do that, so wait until it's 100%, wait something like 1/2 hour / 1 hour at least and then disconnect your phone from the charger. Then use it until it shut off for low battery (and even in this case, just ONCE you have to make it shut off or you will cause damage to battery.

I have installed PrimoU Omega Reborn 2.5.0 SR2 ROM. It works great and is stable too but there is one problem that is bothering me. My phone takes a very long time to charge to 100% and if while charging I reboot my phone, the battery status changes to charged no matter at what percentage it was on before rebooting. Can anyone here tell me how to fix it?

Well, even I m on the same ROM.. I didn't have any issues related to battery till date. About the other so-called problem, actually it isn't a problem per say. In fact that's a good sign that while charging when you boot your phone the battery super-charges... .. I have encountered that with any custom ROM I have tried so far. I was more than happy to see that happen. So don't worry about you battery reaching its full charge. That's the power and benefit of rooting your phone... :laugh:

Guys i m on cardinal os right now and since the last update my phone's taking too much of time to charge right now m on 75% n it's showing it need approx 2 hrs to fully charge can someone help pls

Charging seems to be slower than on stock. At least that's what I have noticed through using custom roms

Naah i mean i m on custom roms since last 6 months n battery was good but not it feels like battery is not so good like before and charging is so slow

Yeah, probably battery degradation or something.
Stay on your rom, drain the battery until phone shuts down.
Start it as often as until it shuts down on its own.
Then charge it until it's full and then start. Your phone.

i have a small question to whom ever tried custom roms for Mi Max hydrogen,
i have my brother phone and he need a new tested rom except ( MIUI ) , i already looked for him here but its a bit confusing ,
to many uncompleted & unstable roms here which need enhancement and some still need fixing ,, any one can give me a single rom that is 100% tested Stable and have no sound quality issues ? and the most important is fast-charging and in-Call volume Quality ! .

Yes you can try linage os ROM which gives more performance than any other ROM but not more customization and but from my side I specially recommend you to take aosp extended ROM everything works excellent except casting and you can trigger fast charging in kernal audiutor but it can make your battery hotter .

hi there i have problem regarding charging this mimax, after update to latest 10.2.1.0 (NBCMIXM) firmware, my mimax become slow charging (ampere reading 120-360mah) and will cut off if battery percentage more than 80%. already replace charger, cable, clean format but none work. please advice. thanks

how old is you'r phone , i replaced my brother battery last month , was doing the same ! , if you need my advice i advice to not use fast charger ,, i know max support it but still the built in battery die faster with time ! .. just saying

thx for reply, it's time for me to visit mi service center, btw mine is 2 years old, and battery still can hold charge, i lucky to get it charge once last two days ago and still got 30% power left with 2 hours plus sot.
